I'm always careful when it comes to milk. Once, I grapped a milk carton from the school cafeteria and noticed that the sell by date was today; I got rid of it.  I can't say for sure if it was spoiled or not, because I never opened it. Seeing chocolate milk go spoiled looks really bad. =/ |

Haven't had any chunky milk for a good long while now. :\ We had a bad stretch a few summers ago where 3 of the 5-6 cartons of milk we bought were lumpy.  
We switched brands.  |

| Well, if you keep the milk closed in a cold place then you should still be able to drink it if you open it a week after expiration date. Because the real "expiring" happens when you open the milk. | |||

| I usually donīt drink milk if the expiration date was more than 3 days ago.
3 days maximum. Then I get rid of it. |

I throw away my milk the day it expires. I am not going to take any chances with expired milk.  |

| Sour milk....my worst fear. Every time I drink milk, I always smell it, examine it thoroughly, dip my finger in, and make sure it's sour free. Then, I drink it, I think it's sour when it's not, and then swallow it, and almost choke.
