Hmm.... that sounds like one of the more nifty tools that they don't have in any across-the-board sense in OS X. Although there are some applications that do volume independently, I don't think I can turn... say.. lololol's volume down...

I've got Vista too, and it's definitely a nice feature. Not as awesome as Adblock, but it still helps. On the other hand, the rest of Vista is still too buggy to use for everyday computing and such, not to mention it confuses C: and D:...

I'm also debating whether to keep Adblock or use Adblock Plus. They both work well but have different features, and I've used them both but I just can't decide.

Adblock + with less of a memory footprint for the win.
It also does everything adblock did for me so .
