| ([{Okay, so... you guys are probably wondering what this is about... well, basically, after a few talks too many with Zerodius about our fics, an idea sprouted into mind... what if our main characters met and decided to battle? What'd happen? Let's find out! SPOILER WARNING!!!}])
There are many dimensions... All of them holding their own goods and evils... And in all of them, a struggle happens, every generation, between the true natures. After these fierce battles, a time of peace comes, only to change back into violence... But, to some, the battles never end... ... "Ungh..." muttered the teen, lying on the ground, dazzled. He moved a hand to his head, rubbing it, as he began to get up... and, when he opened his eyes, he stared, aghast, at the space. For that was where they were; a large void in space, supported only by a large arena... it was similar in size to a coliseum, only without the stands to the sides. He stood up, rearranging the scarf on his neck, and began looking around. While he couldn't see far enough to reach all of the arena, he saw what he was looking for... a small, insectoid creature, with a short and pudgy black body... but clearly feminine. There were purple marks around the arms and legs, where they met the body, a blue stomach with black stripes was revealed, the chest area having a yellowish protection, that only helped reveal more of the chest. On the back, two pale blue wings were hanging, and the head was a purple mane surrounding a blue face, two yellow antennae sprouting from the forehead... He walked towards her, and began shaking her up. "Hey, Elysia! You okay?" he asked, as she began to awake. She blinked, noticing the strange change of location... and then sat up, scared. "Aaah! Ernest! Where are we?" she asked, worried. Ernest shrugged, as he helped her up and onto his shoulder. "No clue. This seems to be some odd place... maybe we were sent here when Frontier Island went kaboom?" he wondered, his voice calm and almost emotionless, as he began walking towards the other edge. Maybe there were creatures there... "I hope we aren't dead! We're too young to die!" Elysia managed to pipe in, making her companion roll his eyes, realizing the absurd in her comment... even if only he'd understand it. |

| "Did... we do it? Did we really win?" her voice echoed.
He remained there, eyes closed... He could no longer hear the screams... sense the feelings... Everything was so... calm... "Maybe... we did." he finally said. At this moment, the two opened their eyes and looked around. They were still in space yet... this was not the space they were in before... Furthermore... "Mewlt... it's strange but... I can't feel... Her." A strange creature, a pink humanoid cat of sorts with a purple belly, tail, and eyes, stood there, eyes closed. Reaching deep within his soul, he knew that it was true. Their souls were now free of the fusion... although they were not sure if it was for the better or the worst... ... and this place... it was so... strange and unfamiliar... almost like another world... The creature got up, opening his eyes. Mewlt, the son of his timeline's Mewtwo and Mew, looked around. His body had somehow recovered, the scars no longer visible on his biological chest armor. Cherlie, his partner and lover, stood by his side. Half the size of the human-sized cat, Cherlie was a semi-bipedal pale yellow mouse with blue ears, cheeks, and tail. Both were the sentient animals that come from an alternate timeline of the Pokemon World... and at this moment, both felt that this place... wasn't part of the Pokemon World. "Okay... where are we?" finally asked the female mouse. The male cat crossed his arms. "I would like to know. Maybe this is what they meant when they said that our victory might cause a dimensional-wide paradox... I just hope... that this isn't what's left of the world..." The female shivered. "... or worse... that we could have been exiled to another world..." The two made a few steps foward... before finally noticing figures at the opposite end of the arena. "Huh? There's someone here!" said Cherlie, pointing at the figures. |

| After some time walking, Elysia tugged on Ernest's shirt. "Hey! I think I see something over there!" she told him, pointing towards the other edge. Ernest shrugged quietly and just walked towards where she was pointing, which was convenienty his previous direction... Elysia climbed onto his head, and glared at him directly. "Hey! I'm talking to you! At least answer!"
Ernest stopped, looking at her with a look that seemed to indicate amusement. "Oh, I see. I have to answer you, because you can't help but not want to be answered, right?" he asked, his tone closer to a 'know-it-all' now, and she realized it at once, glaring even more. "Gah... that's what'd happen when you finished transforming fully, right? I don't like it any... can't you be old Ernest again?" she asked, turning away and sitting back on his shoulder, irritated. Ernest looked at her, a partially bland look in his eyes, and just sighed again, before stopping, as he finally was in sight for the figures.. which meant the opposite was true, too. If they had been paying attention thus far, they'd have seen a young pale teen, wearing a dark gray shirt, black pants that reach up to his knees, and black sandals that are locked over his feet. Long, black hair reached down to his back, with some sort of triple crest reaching from the forehead, and dark blue eyes that seem far too emotionless were staring back at them. Wrapped around his right arm was a long bandage of some sort of cloth, and he also had a scarf around his neck made of the same material. |

| Mewlt nodded to Cherlie and then, both stepped foward, getting a clear view of Ernest and Elysia.
"A human... and judging as it got a Pokemon with it, probably a trainer." said Cherlie rolling her eyes. A Pokemon trainer... the very last thing they needed was an arrogant Pokemon trainer going "POKEMON! CATCHIT!" on them while being stuck in a weird place. Both Pokemon stood at a relatively far distance from the human and its Illumise, unsure on what to do exactely... "Well... let's just stand there. If that human is a Pokemon trainer, he'll probably do as most trainers do and give himself away..." said Mewlt, looking at the human... ... and that human seemed... weird. There was something about that human that just seemed familiar... too familiar... and then, there was his appearance that seemed rather... inhuman. But of course, none of that really hinted more than the human's aura. This aura... could it be... no. He probably just imagined it... |

| Ernest took a good look at them, before taking a step back, a surprised frown coming to his face. "What the... is that-?" he began, before looking at Mewlt again, and shaking his head. "No... couldn't be."
Elysia turned towards him. "Ernest? What is it?" she asked, having paid more attention to him than to the two in front of him. He pointed towards the larger Pokémon, and she looked at him, before gasping. "No way! Is that-" "No... Mewtwo's fur isn't that tonality, and Mew just isn't that large... not to mention I don't feel that pure aura they had. It's so..." he explained, his voice sounding perfectly like a Pokémon's. "It feels... akin, too... like..." he stopped, confused. Then, taking once again his regretful stance - closing his eyes, casting his head and shoulders downward, before sighing loudly - he walked ahead once more, until they were closer. "...who are you?" he asked, plain and simply. |

| Mewlt stood there. "Well... that went better than what I thought." he thought to himself.
Getting ahold of himself, the cat Pokemon ignored this strange feeling within him and replied: "Weird... I was about to ask the same question." The male Pokemon stepped foward. "My name is Mewlt..." he then pointed at Cherlie. "... and the gorgerous electric rodent is Cherlie." Cherlie smiled and made a pose which made Mewlt smile slightly. He then turned back to the human and the Illumise. "Now... are you the ones who brought us here?... and who are you, in the first place?" As Mewlt asked the questions, Cherlie stared at Elysia for some reason... |

| "Mewlt... funny, the name pattern continues," Ernest said dryly, raising an eyebrow when Cherlie was mentioned. "And... why do you think she's gorgeous? I mean... she's about half your size."
Elysia slapped the back of his head lightly. "Hey! Don't go telling others how their relationships are odd! You're the one who had all those weird females after you!" she complained, putting her arms in front of her chest. Ernest's eyebrow twitched, but he didn't seem to be showing much more emotion than that. "I told you already that Yuki was just apologizing, Erin did NOT want to mate with me but just make you irritated, Kiyuki was taken by her emotion, Ana does that to everyone, Latias was insane, the Ariados Queen was evil, that thing in the Battle Tower does NOT count as a female, and do I need to continue?" he replied, before sighing again. "Also, you forgot all those males who were interested in you too..." Elysia sputtered, almost losing her balance. "What?! You think that I really care about Volbeats, Lunarocks, Spinaraks, Psyducks, Sandshrews, and all those other freaks enough to consider them proper relationships? Gah, you're just annoying!" she snapped back, and Ernest just rolled his eyes, before turning back towards the two Pokémon. "Sorry. Had a slight disagreement. As for the answer to your question... no, we didn't. Actually, we were wondering the same thing," he replied blandly, before shrugging. "As for our names, I'm Ernest Yudai, and the Illumise on my shoulder who never learned when to stop speaking is Elysia." Elysia noticed the stare Cherlie was giving her, and glared back. "What is it? Do I have something on my face?" |

| Mewlt rose an eyebrow, feeling greatly annoyed when Ernest taunted him about his mate. Yet, he remained silent, keeping his slightly rising anger contained inside of him... and as the two begun to argue, amusement washed away his anger.
Sadly, however, it seemed that the two weren't responsible for their presence here. He sighed, disappointed. "So... it seems neither of us know why we're here and how we got here... Anyway... glad to meet you, Ernest..." Mewlt stepped foward a bit, getting slightly closer. "As for the arguing... well..." he smirked. "I shall simply ignore it. I had my share of... strange... moments, myself." His smile quickly disappeared, however. "Tell me, Ernest... What are you? I may not be the greatest expert in auras but... I never saw any human or Pokemon with an aura remotely similar to you before..." During this time, Cherlie smirked at Elysia. "I don't know what's your relationship with that human or whatever he is... but well, I heard that males who judge others by size usually are compensating for something, if you see what I mean." the female then giggled in a way that was not normal at all for a Minun. |

| Ernest shifted a bit uncomfortably, as Elysia hopped down to the ground. "Well... at least this might not be too difficult to explain, especially considering how strange you look yourself, so similar to both Mew and Mewtwo, and yet..." he replied, looking a bit to the side. "As for me, well... I'm a peculiar creature, given my exotic nature, as the child of one of the Legendary Pokémon..."
Elysia turned back towards him, irritated. "That's not you right now! That was who you were first born as! Now you are just Ernest Yudai, a common human who happens to be closer to Pokémon as most... or at least you were supposed to be! All thanks to you fusing with yourself, you're not yourself anymore!" she complained, before sighing and looking at Cherlie. "And... I honestly can say he isn't compensating, what with the amount of times I've seen him naked..." she said, making Ernest wince significantly. "He just is too used to having females his own size jumping at him, as well as the odd Pokémon..." "Will you stop complaining about that? I did save you from Latias, didn't I?" he asked, annoyed again. She just turned around and blew a raspberry. "Either way... we just got here after an accident involving the end of our quest, when we 'rescued' Ho-Oh from being sacrificed in a ritual that'd ruin the entire world. Stupid bird just had to explode the island, though..." he added, dryly once more, sarcasm apparently dripping from his words. "You?" |

| Mewlt couldn't help but giggle in a definitely very Mew and unmanly way to all this show. But then, noticing the two were staring at him, he coughed and got a hold of himself. "Heehee... oops, sorry."
He scratched his, embarassed. "Anyway..." he looked back to Cherlie... "Well... it's kinda the same for us." he then turned back to Ernest and Elysia, once again being serious. "Anyway... basically, we went in space and destroyed the very Emptiness itself incarnated inside of an insane Legendary before it could consume everything. I guess we must have succeeded in nuking it since we're here, still alive, after we destroyed it..." ... but then... a doubt entered his mind... "But then... Ernest... you say you got here after the explosion caught up on you? It's just like us... when the explosion caught up on us... which could maybe mean that..." a shiver went down his spine. "... no, I must be imagining things. I'm too... alive... to consider this possibility..." He turned to Cherlie, blinking a bit... and then back to Ernest. Cherlie, her, stared at Elysia... "So... you seen him naked..." at this moment, Mewlt's eyes widened and he winced. "Heh... and you say he's a half-Pokemon reincarnated thingy, isn't it? Kinda means you have chances with him. Heeheehee!" the female chuckled evily which made Mewlt wince even more. That stupid rat! Didn't she knew when not to make jokes about other people? Someday, someone will slap her good for it! "CHERLIE!" yelled the pink cat, not amused at all... but then, at this moment, it struck him and he turned to Ernest, eyes widened. "Wait a minute here... Ho-oh EXPLODED?!? Half-Legendary?!? But... that never happened!!! Ho-oh died after Celebi stabbed him in the back with the Unmaker! Also, Half-Legendaries are extinct ever since the Lugia Wars! | Ernest didn't react to his giggling, and just sighed, while Elysia waited for a reply. "Whatever..."
When Mewlt explained their situation, he put his hands on his elbows, a question coming to mind. "Jirachi, Celebi, Ho-Oh, or Latias?" he asked, smirking very slightly. Then, he blinked, realizing what he had said... and decided to try another trick. "Hm..." He concentrated, delving back into his soul, examining every inch of it... and smiled, once he was done. "Negative... my spirit doesn't feel lost or grown in power. I'm still alive... which means everyone's still alive... which means this isn't an afterlife." Elysia moved a hand through a patch of her fur, her face annoyed. "Nah... just because he's about the size of my leg doesn't mean I'm that interested in him... I mean, after I realized he's more human than Pokémon. Besides, I'm sorta off relationships since those stupid Volbeats tried to make me their queen... I just want to live a regular life without having to worry with mating yet," she quipped, making Ernest glare at her with his eyes half-closed. "As I said, she never knows when to shut up," he added without any sort of emotion in his voice, before being taken aback by Mewlt's glare. "What? Celebi killed Ho-Oh?! But I did that! Why the hell are you so confused?!" he asked, before closing his eyes in half again. "And don't remind me about our deaths; I swear, I must have been killed fifteen times by Father and the others at least, before my last birth..." |

| Mewlt crossed his arms, shaking his head. This... made no sense. "But... I SAW Celebi plunge her scythe in Ho-oh's chest! You cannot have killed him! In fact..." he then realized how... illogical this all was... "... you can't even be existing! Half-Legendaries were slaughtered long, long ago, before humans even existed!"
"Yet... they stand before us..." said Cherlie, her funny attitude disappearing as she realized what this all meant... "I guess... our final victory must have caused an anomaly of sorts..." said Cherlie, staring at Mewlt. The cat slowly nodded. "Yes... they had warned us before we went. Destroying the Emptiness is to destroy the very fabric of time and space. It will cause a shockwave, a Paradox that will forever affect the timeline as the fabric of time and space is returned to what it was before it was corrupted..." Cherlie smiled, turning to Ernest and Elysia. "Which means... that we are STILL in the Void... or rather, we are in a crossroad between timelines..." Both Pokemon stared intently at the two... "Well... this must mean that you're from another world..." |

| Ernest heard all that, quietly. He wasn't going to argue the point, yet; the panic Mewlt was going through, humor aside, was making him think more. Then, when the illogical comment came up, he chose to reply. "Well, you look like some sort of hybrid between Mew and Mewtwo, and you still didn't explain to me why you look like that... I mean, those two liking each other is fine, since we've seen that close and personally... but the chance of a child being born from that is so low that it's easier for someone like me to be born again normally."
Elysia turned towards him. "You mean... sorta like what Celebi told us, back at the entrance to the Phantom Realm?" she asked, surprised. He shook his head. "No, that was the chance of us actually surviving her test... which is still bigger than the chance of that happening. Quite frankly, your own existance is an anomaly, and I don't see why you're still here..." he replied, before looking back at his hand. "...was this why she wanted me to do the opposite of what I did?" he asked nobody, his voice nearly muted, as he seemed to be deep in thoughts... while Elysia just stared at the two, her head spinning with so many strange words. "Oh... could you two please make some sense? I'm getting confused!" |

| Mewlt smirked. "So... you believe that Mew and Mewtwo can't have a kid right?" he chuckled a bit. "I know... the whole "he's her clone for Ho-oh's sake!" business..."
Mewlt slowly lifted himself off the ground, made a backflip in midair, and then landed in an especially feminine and awkward pose. "MEW!" he meowed at them before starting to giggle like a girl... and actually sounding like a girl. Cherlie made a pose too, pointing at Mewlt. "The one and only Half-Mew in the entire world! One 100% Mewtwo/Mew hybrid. No cloning involved! Born through perfectly natural and consentual breeding!" she explained, as if it was some sort of advertisiment or weird pokedex entry. Then, after this was done (and after making fools out of themselves), the two got serious again and Mewlt explained: "Anyway... You said that the chance that Mew and Mewtwo can breed is extremely small, right? Well... where I came from, that chance was the right one. So... yep, Mew is my mother and Mewtwo, my father." Cherlie crossed her arms, staring at Ernest. "So... I guess this means you'll be born again normally once again, right?" she then winked at the two, smirking. "As for us making sense... well..." Cherlie did a backflip and landed on her four, in a very feline and feminine way that was kinda impossible for a regular Minun. "Hey! Mewlt is the product of Legendary, inverted polarities in-breeding!... and I'm the Undead zombie reincarnation of Mew without being Mew herself!" Cherlie then got up, standing in a pose that was identical to one Mew would take. "So cuties... what do you expect? For us to make sense? Our very EXISTENCE don't make sense in the first place!... and you aren't much better, guys! | "Actually... it's more because the chances of light and darkness of working without trouble coming out of it naturally... are extremely slim. Usually, one would overpower the other, leading to a death... you're extremely lucky," Ernest summed up, not really interested in their antics at the moment.
When they made the weird pose and advertisement part, Ernest felt like rolling his eyes, and Elysia laughed hard, finding it hilarious. Next, he shrugged, hearing their comments. "Okay. And maybe. I can't really say what equals to 'normal' with my births, considering all the things I've been. I've even been a woman once, I think..." he replied, boredly, although the comments that Cherlie began doing were distressing. "You mean... you guys are like Aberrants?" Elysia asked, confused and awkwardly. Ernest rolled his eyes. "No, they're still alive... for longer than the average monster. Especially since it seems Cat-boy over there is speaking the truth... he's just a weird thing like me. Only I'm half-human, while he... I don't even know what to call him." He then looked back at Cherlie. "And please don't tell me that, being undead, you're another of Dark Vortex's minions... we've been fighting a lot of you guys already, and honestly, I just want to stop facing demons back and forth. Especially those elemental flaws..." Elysia glared at Cherlie, when she commented about their existence. "What are you talking about?! You guys are at least five times weirder than us... and you're also even LESS likely to be existing than us! Don't try to push it off your shoulders!" "They already did." "SHUT UP, ERNEST!!!" |

| Both Pokemon chuckled. "Well... this place might be boring as Dark Vortex... but well, you guys sure are hilarous!"
Mewlt rolled his eyes. "As for your comment about the Light and Darkness not overpowering each others... well, my Darkness periocally hammer my Light into the ground, causing me to turn beserk and to become some kind of creepy half-dead thingy. The opposite is also true ; on numerous occasions, I turned into an angel of sorts and became unable to even touch a person's shadow without burning my hands. Really... I am SUCH a fine balance between Light and Darkness..." he sighed loudly. "... more like a complete, chaotic mess between Light and Darkness." Cherlie rolled her eyes. "Yeah... and I'm not a Dark Vortex spawn, you know! I'm actually the reincarnation of Mew. Mew means Light. So... I belong more to Golden Silver... sorta." "... lies. You're Mew without being Mew. You're Cherlie, you're Undead, you're..." Mewlt stopped, eyes widened, as Cherlie's right foot crushed his tail tip "by accident" while she was whistling innocently. "MEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAARG!!!" screamed the cat at the top of his lungs as the female crushed his most sensitive body part. As Cherlie lifted her foot off his tail, Mewlt begun to hop around, out of control, crying loudly as he held his tail, his entire body twitching in pain. Cherlie stepped foward... "Now that this is out of the way..." she stated, looking at Ernest. "I would like to know... you're the hybrid of which Legendary Pokemon? This hair style, the strange emotionless stare, all that... is kinda like Articuno... but I doubt any human would ever like to get in private matters with an oversized chicken made of ice. | Elysia glared back at them. "And you two aren't?"
"You're not dead from overwhelming. Even if you are having troubles controlling it... the balance is enough that neither part can completely overtake the other naturally, without an additional boost from some external part," Ernest summed up, making Elysia turn around at him again. "Huh? Mind repeating that in a language I can understand?" she asked, and Ernest put a hand on his forehead, sighing. "It means he doesn't explode without people making him too angry or too what-not." When Mewlt and Cherlie did their whole situation, Elysia began laughing hysterically, while Ernest rolled his eyes again. "You said you were Mew's Avatar, which means you either represent Mew on Earth or you are Mew in a mortal body, and apparently it's the latter... but not anymore, I guess." Then, he sighed once more, after the inevitable question came. "Articuno, for a father, and a human mother. Back when the Legendary Pokémon were actually allowed to have human bodies, the twelve minors - the Legendary Birds, Beasts, Regis, and Titans (when they weren't psychotic, that is) - were breeding like two Pikachus on heat. Of course, when they realized that we were more powerful than them, we were killed over and over and over again, mostly due to the fact that, for some reason Celebi refused to tell us, we are capable of retaining our memories even after death... I'm technically not the original Nephalin, as we are called, but just my most recent body with my old soul." "And, with it, they can also try to tap in the powers of their older counterparts, including, but not limited to, using moves that were created by them in the past, using the elemental powers without the need of an Essence, and, the most important... being capable of truly becoming half-breeds!" Elysia added, and Ernest looked back at Mewlt, trying to ignore her. "So, Celebi's the insane one in your world, then? I thought it might have been a mess-up like in my own... honestly, just those three nutcases were bad enough, but..." |

| As Mewlt finally got ahold of himself, he blew a bit on his tail in a vain attempt to reduce the pain before finally calming down.
He glared at Cherlie a bit before turning to Ernest and Elysia. "So... Articuno is a male in your world?... and you're a rebirth of his child? I see..." Cherlie stepped foward and got close enough to touch Ernest. Tilting her head, she stared at him... "Well... now that we know that we're all not exactely normal, linked to the Legendaries in some way, and that we have beaten up a world threatening in each of our worlds... what now?" Mewlt crossed his arms, looking around... "True..." he then stared at Ernest in a strange way... and at this moment, something about Mewlt became obvious... His aura was tainted by a strange power... ... by the power of the Sin. ... or was he truly tainted? No... at this moment, it seemed as if Mewlt WAS the Sin... and well, should it exist in Ernest's world, he must probably know how terrible and vile this power is... "It's a real complication... centuries ago, I was born, out of a relationship between a human and a Legendary Pokémon... in less than forty years, I was killed, but my soul was doomed to remember all that I lived through, even after I died. Then, fourteen years ago, I was born as I am now, fused with my old soul, and went through an extremely excruciating journey. Oh, and also, I killed some Legendaries too."
However, when Mewlt stared at him oddly, he took a step back, unnerved... as the peculiar taint in Mewlt's aura was so peculiarly negative and... "What the..." he whispered, unheard by any of them. |

| Mewlt rose an eyebrow. His gaze was suddenly very... sinister for some reason and there was something rotten, decayed, vile about him... the aura... it was extremely strong... and one could even see, if one looked carefully enough, three pairs of transluceant, half-decayed angelic energy wings on his back...
"What's the problem? I got something on my face?" asked the cat Pokemon. Cherlie seemed rather... nervous. "Nah... I think it's more about him seeing..." she became so very uneasy for some reason... "... the... "secret"..." The Sin glowed within Mewlt... and a memory leaked out of Mewlt... one Ernest could probably feel if he was sensitive to it. It was the memory of Mewlt's past... it was him, laughing maniacally atop a building, releasing spawns of Dark Vortex all over the city, his hands covered his blood, his eyes blinded by pure rage... and also by sadness and shame, the hatred toward himself being so powerful... Mewlt's past was far from being happy or exactly clean... |
