| I'd ask where to start, but you broke one of the big rules, so I'll start there.
If it has sprites in it, do not ever, under any circumstances use jpeg! Nextly, solid-color backgrounds are terrible. Appart from that... The font you've chosen to use isn't the best for sprite comics, being as it is intended to be used in larger sizes, but it's still readable, so that's not a huge problem. The text boxes could look better, but they're still followable, so no big deal. The effects are lacking, but I'm assuming you're using Paint, and thus that's semi-forgivable (there are better alternatives out there for free). Also, you should try mixing positions more when characters are running instead of just re-using the same one... stands out as fairly lazy 
Oh, and you missed a bit of blue betweeb giant-Emerl's legs when you pasted him into panel 2. Edit: And I notice a distinct lack of any of the Chaotix.  (edited by JDavis on 12-02-05 10:42 PM) |

| No, not really. Aside from the various image issues already pointed out, the dialogue was devoid of anything eliciting a laugh, a chuckle, or even a grin.
Cy's first image sums up my feelings nicely, actually. |

| My comic makes no sense. I guess I should put the banner back on there.....
But, yeah. You're not alone in comic making mayhem. It's hard work. The sprite comics as of when Paint Roller did the Sonic Background takes more than a bit of effort. (Mainly because I have to put the ground OVER the characters for a grassy effect) But keep it up, and make it better. And here's a friendly message from Barg himself! | What the hell. Sure, it's fine to encourage most things, but this doesn't even show the slightest semblance of goodness. It's completely and totally bad and needs to be killed. Killed with FIRE.
Now, if he made something better, then we could encourage that, or even offer criticism. But there is no way to specifically say what, exactly, is wrong with this, as everything about it sucks. Thus, criticism is useless. |
