Luxuria (Lust), Gula (Gluttony), Avaritia (Greed), Acedia (Sloth), Ira (Wrath), Invidia (Envy), and Superbia (Pride)." "I told you so... that is why we must keep a low profile on this world. Once the human world has suffered enough, we'll pick up the scraps and dominate them all..." Shadow grinned. It would be his chance to finally get rid of David once and for all. "Shadow, you may leave now, and leave me to tend to my own busniess..." Shadow bowed and left the throne area. And with nothing much to do, he decided to plan an upstage attack. * * * Sim-Battle City, famous for their Sim-Battles, and home to several veterans. Unlike today though, the city was under attack by Shadow, as he spread his small army of Pantheons to rage destruction across the city. All in the while, he watched as terror swept through the civilians running away, like a raging wildfire. "Let's see if anyone feels confident enough to stop me..." "Damn it... I'm bored!" screamed a young teen, who was running on the rooftops of the city. "Why the hell is Zekt STILL grounded?!" he continued, kicking a nearby tin can all the way to the nearest wall. Those two were maniacs... thanks to his excess of overconfidence, Zekt had gotten his armor busted once more, which meant that he couldn't go off and help him train again. And Daedalus, their eldest brother (even if he looked just as young as him), had gone and nearly died. Gah... what the hell was going on? Why did they have had to be so secretive all the time?! Grumbling again, he was about to curse once more, when he heard screams and explosions coming from the ground. Running to the edge of the building, he saw dozens of Pantheons were attacking humans, and snarled. Now even those things were rebelling?! They needed to be stopped! In a few moments, his armor was summoned onto him; colored in blue and navy, its boots reached up to his knees, the forearms were particularly prominent, and the helmet had a red gem on the forehead. Activating his X-Buster Mark. 17, he began to fire plasma shots at the Pantheons, trying to distract them. |

| "Hmm, well, looks like someone decided to rain on my parade of destruction. Pantheon Hammers and Pantheon Fists, take care of the intruder," Shadow called into his COM link.
The Fists and Hammers nearby the intruder's area all converged around him. The basic models we're blasted down, turning to data and dematerializing (other words; DELETED). The shots managed to cleave through most of them before they could let out even one rifle shot. Now the newcomer would have to deal with the Pantheon Fists, which wore armored arms and fists. Pantheon Hammers; they we're large, round, and green armored, their right arm a spiked chain with a hammer mace at the end twirling in the air above them riding on hover boards. There we're other breeds as well attacking other parts of the city. Hoppers; small short green Pantheons armed with claw segmented fingers that crawl on the ground, Aerials; a basic model only with jet-like wings, Seraphs; Pantheons with four angelic wings and wearing armor similar to Omega X, Zombies; walking corpsed Pantheons, Missiles; basic models only armed with a shoulder mounted arm cannon similar to Vile.EXE, Fencers; armed with a short orange beam rapier, and other several other basic model Pantheons that rode Assault Buggys or are equipped with Jetpacks, or are equipped with a basic element of Fire, Ice, or Thunder. |

| Glaring at the intruders, he began to charge up his next shot, his body beginning to glow a bright blue on and off. While the opponents were still far, he blasted them with a greenish shot that would probably destroy one of them in one hit, and then continued to fire at the others, aiming at their heads.
Hopefully, he'd get to knock them out before they could get close... |

OOC: God I hope there would be others who want to join... 
One by one, the intruder managed to gain an upperhand at deleting the one-eyed Navis. In no time he was free of enemies... until now. Behind, a beam of black energy shot at the ground near the reploid armored man. The building that stood flashed once before crumbling to rubble, and out from the destroyed building was the viral Darkloid; Shadow. He’s a tall mega-virus, wearing a sleek flexible black armor suit with lightning bolt stripes running down his hips. He wore thick black boots with yellow spiked anklets and black gloves with yellow spiked bracelets, his left lower arm was a large transluscent energy blade, the hilt giving off a faint crackling aura. Black and yellow armor covered the top half of his torso, including a large pair of crimson shoulder pads that almost gave him the image of an American football player only much broader. Mounted on his right shoulder was the Pulverizor Cannon with a vent exhaust lining the back area, hooked by wires and thick cables. His helmet is large with pointy crests, two round orbs that emblazoned the yin-yang sign, only green and dark green on opposite ends of his helmet covering the ears. His red eyes were dark and piercing, green streaks running underneath his eyes, and emblazoned on the center of his torso armor was his emblem design of a vampire bat, the right lower half and the fang blood red, the rest black, with the outline of the vampire bat white. "Well... look what my destruction brought into the open. A David Abbott cosplayer. Sheesh... I know David's Command Armor is replicated by his cosplayer fans, but your armor is nothing in comparison to my arch-nemesis." Shadow had a sadistic smirk plastered on his face, "And it's only one man versus a batallion. I must say... you're either very brave, or you want a quick deletion." | He turned around, when the shot nearly blasted him. An exp His comments were unnerving, however. "WHAT?! A cosplayer? That's what you think I am? Are you trying to make me angry?" he asked, irritated. "I'm not cosplaying anyone! This is my regular armor!" Then, his other comment made him stop, and shrug. "Eh... I've faced worse odds before. You're not the first Maverick to have a thousand of soldiers under your command... even if I have no idea of why they don't die the proper way," he explained, before pointing his buster at him. "Now... who are you?" |

| He brought his blade arm to his chest then slashed the air, then pointed it towards the man. "Call me Shadow; a New Generation Darkloid. I'm the son of the great ShadeMan. And with the terms your using, it seems your not familiar with the cyber world. Those Pantheons are NetNavis that we're once used by a man named Saiba Yami and a Navi called Omega X, both from Neo Arcadia. Now that they're dead, I control them along with Mistress Sonance.
"And I guess you could say that. I mean, my arch-nemesis David created the Command Armor. And if I remember correctly, your armor's design was his prototype." But, then he frowned for a minute or two. "Hmm... it seems sad that Grey, Kirbynite, the Psiwarrior Schwa, or the other famed veterans of Sim-Battle City are not here to stop my army. I wonder how Grey would feel that his old office behind me was destroyed..." His sick grin of pleasure then returned, "But enough talk. If you got friends coming by, then I do hope they'll put up much of a fight, cause one-on-one seems too boring for me." Shadow swiped the air with his blade once more, this time letting out a dark sadictic laugh. 
Rockman Zero 4 / Mega Man Zero 4 - Nothing Beats (Boss Battle) Shadow leapt into the air, rushing towards the armored reploid before he swung his blade out. | He glared at Shadow, assimilating the information he was receiving. 'Neo Arcadia? Omega X? Who the hell was that damn copycat who thought it would be good to take over MY citadel?! If only he wasn't dead, I'd kill him!' he thought, angrily, and then did a double take, as he continued to speak.
"Wait... you are saying someone stole MY designs, made an armor with them, and then decided to just have it cloned by others? Grr... once I've dealt with you, I'm going to go after this person!" he replied, anger taking over, as a second armor was teleported onto his body. Most of his blue armor disappeared, the helmet remaining in place; however, it seemed that underneath he had a black covering, as if it was his basic armor. White gauntlets strapped themselves to his arms, with golden bracelets in the wrists. The left buster had two golden and white wings of sorts connected to it, and an apparent grip on the edge. His torso had a white armor with a red gem on the center, protecting his chest and shoulders, with a design of wings. His white boots were raised almost all the way to his waist, having a format similar to a horse's feet. There were golden protections on the conection between the leg and the foot, with small wings sprouting from it. From his helmet, four small wings sprouted from the cheeks and temple sides moving towards the back, and a fifth designed as a lancetip was sprouting from the top of his helmet. "And I don't need anyone's help to defeat you!" he added, pointing his buster at him again. When the battle initiated, he began to charge it, his body glowing a bright green, and then a blue, by the time Shadow was close enough to slash at him. Jumping away, he gasped when he saw the crevice, but just aimed the blast and fired at him, a large plasma blast that would probably hurt a LOT. It also had the benefit of pushing him away, which would allow him to avoid the most of the next blasts, if they weren't aimed at where he was falling. |

| "The Seraph Armor, eh?" He rolled put of the way before lobbing three grenades towards him.
"I must say... if Sonance was here, then you'd have a clue what the real Seraph Armor is. And about David's Command Armor, if you wanna believe that. There are many different universes out there kid, and I'm pretty sure there's one universe where I'm supposed to be a good guy... But since I was there during the final batttle I can show to you..." In a few seconds of hacking, several of the large TV screens in the buidlings that still remained standing turned on. "Arcadian Saber Battlechip in, download!" Omega X raised the sword he had just obtained and flew toward RockMan at full speed. He was also clad in the Seraph Armor as soon as the battle begun. White armor covered the upper half of Omega X’s torso. His shoulder guards was white and fused with the armor while also giving him maximum mobility. His gloves we're a more aerodynamic form, white with a pair of golden bracelets around his wrists. His boots were white with a pair of small white wing-like extensions on the outsides. A pair of golden winged anklets were over his ankles and his legs white halfway up his thighs, cut off by gold bands. A red gem was set in the center of his chest as a pair of gold and white wings sprouted from his back. Another four wings grew from the helmet. He swung in a rapid cross-slash, but his opponent managed to dodge his every attack. He chopped downward and his blade left three deep gashes in the floor from the point it struck, but no sign of the blue Navi. "Up here! Rock Buster!" RockMan hung from the transparent dome and fired his buster down at his enemy. Omega X used the enormous sword to shield himself from the shots and flew toward his opponent. RockMan jumped away and the blade struck the dome. The winged Navi pulled out his weapon and spun it around over his head before bringing it to rest behind his back. "You see.... this is the world I came from. Your "Omega X" isn't like the one that was deleted from my world." He grinned as the video file contintued playing, and the humans who we're still in hiding we're viewing the battle that came from another world; a battle that has already passed by. "Omnislash!" Omega X hefted up his sword and threw it down at RockMan. The weapon split into ten copies of itself and surrounded its target. The emerald-eyed Navi glanced around him and analyzed the situation. As the first sword flew toward him, he twisted his body out of the way and grabbed onto the hilt. He repeated his action on the second one. After obtaining the two swords, he used them to deflect the remaining eight before leaping up at Omega X. "Here’s comin’ at ya, Omega X!" There were two flashes of light as the blue NetNavi passed the swords through his opponent. He flipped himself in midair and landed on the transparent dome with his feet before pushing off and flying back toward Omega X. "Arcadian Breaker Battlechip in, download!" Saiba slotted in a chip and armed his Navi with a larger hammer. Omega X looked up at RockMan and swung his mighty weapon. He broke the blades off their hilts and slammed his hammer into his enemy’s side. RockMan cried as he was thrown across the sanctuary and slammed into the other side of the dome. "You’re not much of a challenge if you’re down after that one attack," Omega X sneered as he landed. RockMan groaned in pain as he got back up to his feet. "I’m not out just yet." "Good. Now fight me with everything you’ve got!" Omega X slammed his hammer onto the floor and a massive shockwave erupted from the impact toward RockMan. "Here it comes, Netto!" shouted the blue NetNavi. "Got your back." Netto slotted in a NeoVariable into his PET and RockMan’s hand morphed into a shining sword. He chopped downward and sent a vertical Sonic Boom that sliced through the shockwave and continued toward Omega X, who slammed his hammer into the floor and jumped away, letting his weapon take the hit. "X Buster!" The shining NetNavi morphed his hand into his default weapon and fired several golden plasma shots at his opponent. Netto armed his brother with a TankCannon3 and RockMan intercepted the shots with the massive cannon. "Soul Unison: Colonel Soul Battlechip in, download!" Grey armor covered the emerald-eyed Navi’s torso as his gloves and boots changed to match the color. A fusion of Colonel’s helmet and his own covered his head as his right hand transformed into the Colonel Saber. "Colonel Army!" RockMan raised his arm and several RockCubes dropped down around him. No sooner had they appeared, they discarded their blocky appearances, revealing armed soldiers equipped with rifles and swords. The gunners took aim at Omega X and fired. The winged Navi flew away and returned fire. As he approached a higher platform, three soldiers armed with swords jumped out and slashed him across his back. Several curses ran through his head as he flew back down to the floor and grabbed one of the gun-toting troops by its head. He sprang back to his feet and held the soldier as it continued shooting, gunning down all the others in the process. Once all we gone, he disposed of the one he had captured and ran toward his opponent. "Screen Divide!" RockMan swung his sword and sent a column of energy zigzagging across the floor straight at Omega X. However, he didn’t wait to see the results. He dropped out of Colonel Soul and fired several buster shots to follow up. Omega X braced himself against the Screen Divide and used his X Buster to deflect his enemy’s shots. As soon as he found an opening, he held his weapon at his enemy and fired. Netto inserted a Guard chip into his PET and a giant Mettaur helmet dropped down on top of RockMan and reflected the blasts back at their source. Omega X flew to the side and let his shots passed him and hit the wall. He flipped through the air and planted his hand firmly against the floor, bringing himself to a stop. RockMan then raised the helmet up and threw it with all his might at his foe. The winged Navi stepped back, but was unable to get out of the range of the giant yellow hardhat and it fell right on top of him. "Nice work, RockMan," Netto complimented, "GutsImpact Battlechip in, download!" RockMan’s arm transformed into GutsMan’s massive fist and he ran up to the helmet and punched, causing it to ring like a bell. He drew back his arm and punched again. "What the hell is he doing?" demanded Saiba. "Have you ever stood under a bell and someone rang it?" asked Netto, "It happened to me once on a school trip and it was not pleasant." RockMan continued to hammer away at the helmet while Omega X tried to drown out the noise, but to no avail. "Havoc Wings Battlechip in, download!" Six white wings pierced through the normally protective piece of enormous headgear and Omega X burst out from it spinning like a buzzsaw. But he didn’t finish there. The holy armored NetNavi turned on RockMan and spun toward him. "WideSword Battlechip in, download!" RockMan gained a blue broadsword and he blocked his opponent from sawing him to pieces. He pressed his entire weight against the blade and knocked his enemy away. "Program Advance! Wind, Fan, GateManV3 Battlechips in, download!" Netto inserted the three chips and his PET locked them together and registered them into one attack. "Gater!" GateMan appeared in front of RockMan and the blue Navi balled up his fist and punched him in the back, forcing his chest gate open and sending countless pieces of debris flying at Omega X. The winged NetNavi flew up and dodged the attack, but his opponent punched GateMan again and another bombardment of debris shot out and hit him. A third punch followed by a third barrage hit him dead-on and he landed on his back and skidded along the floor into the platform. GateMan vanished and RockMan stepped forward with his buster ready. "Omega X, damage report," Saiba demanded. "Moderate," replied Omega X as he got back up, "but potentially dangerous. I suggest we up the level of this battle." "Agreed." Saiba took out his second Crest of Arcadia chip and slotted it into his PET, "Transcendent Wings of Arcadia Battlechip in, download!" A white light engulfed his Navi as the Crest of Arcadia shone through his armor onto his chest and a third pair of wings appeared on it. "Welcome to the next level of Heaven," chortled Omega X as a radiant white light shone through the clouds outside the dome. His hand began to glow white as he began to build up energy. A wide grin broke across his face as he brought his arm forward and unleashed a massive barrage of white energy orbs. They spread out and closed in on RockMan. The blue NetNavi carefully timed the attack and leapt away just before it hit. The energy blasts hit the floor and he landed safely several feet away. Omega X flew up onto the platform and charged up another blast. "I never really understood that chip you just used," Netto said to Saiba, "Care to explain?" And if he was distracted, he took advantage of it by jumping back, then swiftly slashing the air, releasing a large wave of blackish red energy twice, swiftly flying towards the reploid. * * * Meanwhile with Sonance, she was watching the whole thing. She smiled, clearly remembering that fierce battle between Rockman and Omega X. How X drove out to hard hitting attacks, only to falter and die from the power of Sol Cross Rockman, the true light of the world... And of course, absorbing Omega X shortly after his deletion granted her a female version of X's Seraph Armor when she showed up. "Hmm, imploring under-handed tactics, and distractions... very good indeed Shadow." Her lips curled into an evil smile. |

| "Wha?" he asked, firing small plasma blasts at the grenades, exploding them, while he landed. "You call my armor that stupid name? At least get the order right!" he complained, watching his next movement. "And why are you saying 'real'? You think my armor isn't real?"
His mind, however, was still thinking. 'Sonance? Isn't that a girl Zekt mentioned a while ago?' he thought, as he began to glow once more. As the battle was shown on the screens, he stared at them, feeling himself more unnerved by the actions. Those last comments were irritating, however. "What do you mean, 'Omega X'? There's never been-" he began, but paused, watching more. Then, when Shadow thought he'd be smart to attack him, he slid underneath the lowest slash, before firing a fully charged blast at him, a blue and purple plasma blast that flew straight ahead. "Damn it... you're just another Maverick! I'm going to retire you and make sure you are nothing but scrap!" he screamed, ready to pelt him with more shots. |

| Shadow grinned as he blocked the attacks with his blade before sprinting forward. "Blinding Demon Slash!" He swung hard, hoping to land this powerful attack onto the 'roid. Also, during the attack, a blinding flash of light and energy flashed from the blade. The attack (if successful the the blinding light energy) will harm the reploid's fiber obtics to the point of being blinded temporarily (like flashing a flashlight in someone's face).
Hit or miss he'll jump back, and fire a Crush Noise towards the wall near him, bouncing the soundwaves and absorb it, before facing the 'roid, and fired a, "Big Noise!" Shadow is one "maverick" to not underestimate. "I like this kid... anger and hate... I just love those dark feelings..." He chuckled to himself. By now, the battle file continued playing, at the point the two Navis struggled to overpower the other with their hands. Both NetNavis’ shots intercepted one another, so they quickly abandoned their attack pattern and dashed toward each other. Their hands locked and the two of them wrestled for dominance over the other. "You can’t win!" Omega X taunted. "Bite my radiant green ass!" Saito Style RockMan pushed back and slammed his helmet against Omega X’s face. His opponent stumbled back and he quickly dropped down and swept his leg out from under his feet, forcing him onto his back. However, the armored Navi recovered fast and swiftly leapt to his feet before thrusting a kick at his opponent. RockMan raised his arms and blocked. He thrust Omega X’s foot back down and struck his elbow against the side of his face. Unfortunately, his opponent was able to take advantage of the close range and wrapped his arm around his neck, putting him in a headlock. He morphed his hand into his X Buster and pressed one of the wing-like blades against his neck. "So much for that plan," smirked Omega X. "Which is why I have another." RockMan grinned as he reached behind him and grabbed onto the back of his foe’s head. He poured his strength into his arms and flipped his opponent over his head and flat onto his back. However, Omega X had a plan of his own. The moment he was flipped, he did the same to RockMan and flung him across the sanctuary. The radiant NetNavi slammed into the dome and fell to the floor. "You’re a lot more troublesome than I thought," said Omega X as he got back up, "I’m through playing games. Now it’s time to get serious. Saiba, my strongest sword." "Right away. Transcendent Sword Battlechip in, download!" Saiba inserted the chip and armed his Navi with the shining rune-emblazoned sword. Omega X brought it down to his side and ran toward RockMan, dragging his blade against the floor. "No you don’t!" Netto shouted, "BluesV4 Battlechip in, download!" RockMan sprang back to his feet and activated his barrier in time to block his opponent’s sword. He then pushed him back and a copy of Blues appeared beside him. "DOUBLE HERO!" A massive storm of sword slices and buster shots erupted from the duo and hit Omega X from all angles. When the assault was finally over, he had sustained a considerable amount of damage. "Well played, Netto," Saiba commented, "but this battle is still far from over. You have yet to see us at our full power." "Full power?" Netto repeated. "Exactly." Saiba laughed silently as he drew another chip, "Now feel the full power of Heaven! Empyrean Battlechip in, download!" White light once again emanated from Omega X as the Crest of Arcadia shone brightly. Red filled the outline of the gem while white occupied those of the wings, turning the Crest into a complete image instead of a mere outline. Omega X opened his eyes and looked straight at RockMan. "Welcome to the highest level of Heaven." The transparent dome shattered and strong winds blew across the sanctuary. RockMan found himself throwing his body against the floor to brace against the sudden gust. Omega X slowly rose up into the air and began to shine even brighter. His legs became infused with his torso and transformed into a single conical form. His body armor changed into a simple white crest over his chest with a red gem embedded into the center and two points jutting out to the sides in front of his shoulders, which had morphed and ended in a short pair of spikes not far from the body. A pair of disembodied arms covered in blue armor appeared just below them and large white claws sprouted out from them. Omega X’s helmet had reverted back to its original form and the Navi’s eyes snapped open as a shining halo appeared on his back, which also sprouted six shimmering white angel wings. "This is where it will end, RockMan," Omega X’s voice echoed as the clouds dispersed and a blinding white light shone down from the heavens while bright blazing flames rose up from the endless abyss below. Not looking good, RockMan thought to himself as he looked up as the seraphic figure floating above him. "It looks like you’ll get to face me in my ultimate form, after all," Omega X continued, his mouth unmoving like a mask. His voice seemed to come from the surrounding environment instead. There was as flash of light and the completed six-winged Crest of Arcadia appeared on his chest. "What’s going to happen now?" asked RockMan. "Once I destroy you, the light of the Crest of Arcadia will spread across the world and Neo Arcadia will again reign supreme." "So you’re doing this all because you’re upset over one incident that happened years ago?" "Well when you word it like that, of course it’s going to seem petty," Saiba interjected, "Omega X, do what you have to do." "Affirmative." Omega X’s arms levitated over his head a bright flash of light erupted from his body. * * * "..." David and Alia stared at the piles of paperwork they ended up on their office desks at HQ. The couple had just returned from classes half an hour ago, both tired from the surprise exams their profressors brought out (it takes half an hour from Singe City to the Hunter base). "First surprise exams... now paperwork... shit." David walked over and sat down at his chair, and picked up a pen before he began filling out the papers, and Alia helped with organizing them in the right areas. The Hunters had no clue that there was a mini-war raging in Sim-Battle City; mainly because since Sim-Battle City doesn't really exist in their world, they don't watch over it. |

| He barely managed to slide out of the way of the move, having to do it blindly as he happened to look at the light long enough to be slightly affected by it. "Gah... why, you..." he grumbled, rubbing his eyes, as he tried to clear them off.
Thus, even though he happened to hear the following attacks, he was unable to figure out which one was actually aimed at him, before being sent reeling backwards and onto the wall. 'Dang... I'm getting caught in his game... focus, Xen, focus... remember what you learned...' he scolded himself, as he got up, taking deep breaths. As his vision slowly cleared, he decided to use an alternate strategy. To Shadow, he would be glowing with a bright aura surrounding him, his body unseen from behind it. While he was still, he was probably an easy target... (Note: it's a barrier. If he's attacked, he'll take no damage and counter with three slow-moving spark blasts.) |

| He leapt away and crouched down, as energy started traveling towards in the inside of the barrel. He was charging up the Pulverizer Cannon.
"Your friends may be holding off my army of Pantheons, but it won’t be long before they fall," Omega X said boastfully, "What my troops lack in various attributes, they make up for in numbers. All of them are simply mindless puppets that can be sacrificed to attain our goal." "We’re not going to let that happen!" shouted RockMan. "You don’t have a choice in the matter!" replied Omega X, "You’re powerless against me." "We’ll see about that!" And with that, Saito Style RockMan leapt up at Omega X and fired several Saito Shots at him. "White Halo!" A white ring formed in front of the seraphic Navi and shot toward his opponent. RockMan was hit right away and he fell to the floor. "I can’t move!" he exclaimed. Omega X brought his arms forward and opened his claws, revealing two barrels in his palms. White lasers shot out from them and bombarded his enemy. "Barrier Battlechip in, download!" Netto slotted in a Barrier and his Navi powered it up into a Program Advance. "Barrier500!" A pink dome surrounded him and blocked all the shots. As soon as he was able to move, RockMan got up, with the Barrier500 still intact, and jumped into the air over his opponent’s head. "Charged Saito Shot!" "Light of the Sefirot!" Ten balls of light appeared around Omega X and joined together in the form of the Sefirot. The angelic NetNavi floated higher up and all ten balls of light launched a massive bombardment of holy light onto his foe. RockMan screamed as they broke his Barrier500 and blasted him back. He quickly dug his fingers into the floor and stopped himself from going over the edge into the flaming abyss. He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "That was close," he whispered to himself. He moved to a safe distance from the ledge and looked up at Omega X. "Take this, RockMan. NeoVariable Battlechip in, download!" Netto armed RockMan with a NeoVariable sword and watched as he ran toward his opponent. "Super Sonic Boom!" He swung his blade and fired a golden Sonic Boom. Omega X brought his arms forward and blocked the wave. RockMan quickly launched another Super Sonic Boom and struck one of his enemy’s wings. "Holy Light!" Omega X raised his arms and fired more white lasers from his hands. RockMan ducked and the first beam shot past his head. As another came down lower, he jumped up and it passed under him. He quickly dropped back down to avoid a third laser and leapt up again as a fourth shot toward him. The radiant Navi split his legs apart and another beam just narrowly missed his crotch. "Super Sonic Boom!" Still in midair, RockMan swung his NeoVariable sword and clipped his opponent’s left shoulder. "White Halo!" Omega X created another ring of light and launched it at his foe. RockMan fired several Super Sonic Booms at it, but nothing seemed to destroy or knock the paralyzing circlet away. "Hold on, RockMan!" Netto called to his Navi, "I’ve got just the thing. Guardian Battlechip in, download!" A Guardian statue materialized in front of RockMan as he landed and the White Halo struck the surface. Immediately, the idol retaliated with its Punisher counterattack and struck Omega X with a powerful blast of lightning. "That got him!" exclaimed RockMan. "I cannot be defeated so easily!" Omega X’s voice echoed. "Looks like you already are!" RockMan raised his NeoVariable sword and charged toward his opponent. He leapt into the air and sliced down on his chest. "Purgatorial Flame!" Three massive pillars of fire suddenly burst up around Omega X and hit RockMan with incredible force. The shimmering NetNavi was blasted back and he hit the floor smoking. When the flames subsided, Omega X fired a Holy Light at his opponent. RockMan quickly rolled to the side, but his sword was destroyed by the laser. He sprang back onto his feet, but his opponent suddenly grabbed him in midair and brought him close to his face. "Armed or not, you must realize," Omega X said darkly, "you are doomed." "Oh I don’t think so," RockMan replied. "Muramasa Battlechip in, download!" Netto slotted in the demonic sword and his NetNavi looked up beyond the heavens. "Bodyguard!" Instantly, countless shuriken began to rain down on Omega X. They struck hard and left several marks in his armor and body. One shuriken penetrated the hand that held RockMan and forced the seraphic Navi to release his hold. His opponent dropped down to the floor and landed safely. He pointed his buster upward and powered up. "Charged Saito Shot!" There was a brilliant flash as he fired and struck his opponent’s underside. By this time, the Bodyguard had worn off, but it had done its job. Several wounds marked Omega X’s body and a few shuriken were stuck in him. RockMan passed his thumb under his nose and smirked. "Do you really believe that one attack was enough to bring me down?" demanded Omega X. He shook himself and the remaining shuriken fell out from his body and clattered to the floor. He glared down at his enemy and called on another Light of the Sefirot. RockMan jumped around the battlefield and evaded the attack. "White Halo Storm!" Several rings of white light appeared around Omega X and he launched them at once. His enemy dashed back and forth between them as they came and successfully managed to dodge them all, though not without difficulty. "Looks like you guys are getting used to Omega X’s attack patterns," Saiba commented, "Looks like it’s time for a change of strategy. Omega X, do whatever you need to win and don’t worry about overkill." "It will be my pleasure, Saiba." Omega X raised his arms and a white cross appeared behind his opponent. He launched one of his hands forward and shoved RockMan right against it. "What the? What’s going on?!" the radiant green Navi exclaimed. "Something I should have done when this battle first started." Omega X narrowed his eyes and pulled back. RockMan screamed out loud as large nails impaled his hands and feet and bound him to the cross. "And now to seal you to the cross permanently! Lance of Longinus!" A large spear appeared as Omega X pulled back his hand and he thrust it deep into his opponent’s chest. RockMan screamed even louder and coughed up a mouthful of blood. "RockMan!" Netto looked at his PET display in horror as his Navi suffered beyond his comprehension, "Hang on! I’ll get you out of there!" "Don’t waste your chips trying," Saiba called from across the chamber, "As long as RockMan remains nailed to that cross, no Battlechips can reach him. He’s helpless!" "No!" "I’m going to enjoy every moment as I introduce you to a new level of suffering." Omega X grabbed RockMan’s head and started pelting his face with Holy Light lasers at point-blank range. Netto turned his eyes away, unable to bear seeing his Navi undergo such punishment. But he forced himself to watch as he tried to think of a way to help him. Sadly, nothing came. "Light of the Sefirot!" Omega X pulled back and summoned his ten spheres of light. They lined themselves up in the same manner as they had before and unleashed their deadly rain onto the helpless RockMan. The angelic Navi held out his arms and a pair of large swords appeared in his hands. One was a handheld version of the Transcendent Sword and the other was the Arcadian Saber. He grasped the hilts and flew toward his opponent. Once he stopped in front of him, he swung his weapons and slashed him countless times. Data began to flow out of the numerous wounds on RockMan’s body, but there was nothing he could. "If only everyone could see this," Omega X chortled, "The world’s savior crucified and looking deletion straight in the eyes. I suppose I could be merciful and bring a quick end to this, but then there would be no pleasure in the task. I would much rather drag it out for as long as I can." "Bring it on…" RockMan gasped as he looked at his foe with blood dripping from his mouth. "I’d be happy to oblige." Omega X took the Transcendent Sword and thrust it deep into RockMan’s stomach, causing him to scream in agony once again. The tip shot out through his back and hit the cross. He then floated away and threw his Arcadian Saber down at him. The white sword split into ten copies of itself and each one slashed RockMan as it passed before all ten blades impaled him at once. His body went limp and the radiant green vanished, reverting back to blue and the energy that shimmered and crackled throughout his body vanished. "No!" Netto cried. "So much for Saito Style," Omega X sneered, "I’d love to prolong your death even longer, but you must be reaching your limit. I guess this is farewell then, RockMan." He hovered over to RockMan and held out his arms as he powered up a pair of Holy Light lasers. * * * "I swear... if I see another stack of paperwork I'll just go nuts!" David had signed the last of the paperwork, as well as having their database updated wiht the latest information. "Same here. But I wonder what Blaise meant by The Organization." David shrugged. "Well... we've heard of the World Three, Gospel, Nebula, Neo World Three, the Dark Nation, Rebellion Army, the Neo Arcadia-" "I get the idea, Davie. But, still... if this "Organization" would let a former Dark Nation Terrorist into their lot, then we have to be dealing with some sick and mind-twisted individuals." "Sick and mind-twisted? Ugh... why does that remind me of Shadow...?" |

| The barrier was gone in a second, and with it, Xen's protection, even if it wasn't needed. He fired out a sequence of electric spark blasts, while running around him, his mind partially concentrating in what was going on in the screen. 'If I'm getting it right... then that must have been my older brother's version in that universe... and mine, too...' he thought, thinking back to the events prior to his last awakening. 'And apparently, I'm an idiot here... just like before... but that is no more! Now... I just need to figure out what is this guy's tick... seems like he's aligned with the darkness, from his self-description, although that might be just a symbology. When he said he was the son of 'ShadeMan', I didn't get it... but if he's really based off a bat...'
He jumped onto a nearby wall and gripped to it, his fingers slowing his descent. 'Let's see if he wants to play in the air...' he thought, firing more blasts. |

| The charge was complete, as he barrel rolled, but he was only clipped in the leg by one of those electrical blasts.
"Let's see you dodge this! Pulverizor Cannon!" He took quick aim and fired an enormous blast of dark radiating energy quickly traveling towards him. But, seeing as his opponent was airborn, unless he could dodge it he's a sitting duck. "If that's how you wanna play, then fine!" He grinned as sonething closely sounding like bones snapping echoed, then from his back huge demonic wings burst out from him. Flapping his wings (none that no one has ever seen) he took to the air. "Claymore Singer!" If his first attack missed then the second one would track him down. The hilt of his sword blade was surrounded by a black ring of small energy balls. He then spun 180 degrees and lashed the blade out, launching the ring like a frisbee. And yes, the video file still played... up to the part where RockMan's friends came to his rescue. But, there was a camera switch, as unknown by everyone else during that final battle, a virus known as Double showed up to keep recording of this. He also was able to control the cameras about the base. As part of it, Sonance also wanted tabs on how the battle was so she would be able to absorb Omega X when he was deleted, as she foreseen it. In the real world, Shun, Laika, and Meiru had joined up with Netto, Enzan, and Noah and the six of them now stood together facing Saiba. "So you all defeated my crew and got past all that security," the white-haired Neo Arcadian sneered. "Saiba, no matter what you throw at us, you’ll never win!" Netto declared. "Is that a fact?" Saiba snapped his fingers and separated himself from the others with a ray shield. "This is between RockMan and me alone!" Omega X bellowed, "Interlopers shall not be tolerated!" "We stand together!" shouted Axl as he, Blues, Roll, and SearchMan placed themselves between RockMan and Omega X. "Then die together! Descend Heartless Angel!" Before the seraphic NetNavi could unleash his attack, the five Navis were quickly logged out. "What was that for?!" shouted Axl. "You were in over your head," Shun replied. "Come on, Netto. You and RockMan have to beat Omega X," Meiru urged as he helped Netto up to his feet. "But Saito Style didn’t work and David's Forte Cross data was no better," Netto replied dejectedly. "For the love of God, Netto, you’re not Riku!" exclaimed Shun, "You can’t just use darkness to defeat your enemy." "Hey, if you’re finished yapping, I’d like to get back to business here!" Saiba shouted. Netto turned toward his friends and opened his mouth to say something when his words were cut off by a loud crash coming from downstairs. "What was that?" Noah quickly ran out of the room and looked down the stairs. All he could make out in the darkness were several shining red dots swarming up the stairs, but he knew what they were. "We’ve got Pantheons!" he called to the others. All of a sudden, the walls slid open and out stepped a massive army of Pantheon Fists. Saiba grinned as he gave the order to roast them. "Rekkoha!" A multitude of lasers bombarded the ground, surprising everybody, before David dropped down from the ceiling and slashed down a few Pantheons. Now this next part would of gotten Xen's attention. "Now, if you wanna watch a bit, this is my arch-nemesis David Lee Abbott of the EXE Maverick Hunters." David was clad in two-tone blue armor. His boots were slightly bulky, but they looked to be thin and easily maneuverable. There were red gems set into yellow knee guards, with a V-shaped white line outlining it on the lower boot. The main color was mostly azure blue, with white and yellow highlights. White ankle guards surrounded the lower leg, with small red gems set into the ankles. A black body suit covered his body underneath the armor, with his Command Armor belt adorning the waist. The belt itself is white and light blue, with a yellow-colored, pentagon-shaped buckle with an emerald gem set in the center of the belt buckle. A gun hoslter was connected to the left side of the belt which held within a strange shaped pistol. Three thin white lines lead away from the belt; two connected to his boots, the third running from the tip of the belt buckle to the chest plate. The chest plate was two-toned blue with light blue breast plates and an azure blue main plate, all trimmed in white. The shoulder plates were azure blue as well, circular in shape with a yellow band marking the end of the shoulder plate. Seen over the right shoulder is a saber handle, which is attached to a hoslter on his back. The gauntlets were a lot like the boots; azure blue, trimmed with white and a ruby-red gem set into the yellow elbow guards. A yellow neck guard finished off the body armor. A circular helmet rested on his head, with his and his Navi's emblem as ear guards. Indigo blue framed his determined face, with azure blue for the helmet’s main color. A final red gem was set into his helmet, with an indigo blue strip running along the top of his helmet. He looked like a wreck, as some of his armor was dented and damaged, but he stood tall, his saber gripped tightly in his hand. Saiba growled, but let otu a yelp of pain as Zero and ForteZero kicked Saiba in the back before fazing through the ray shield without much damage, leaping over everyone and slashing down several Pantheons that were coming from the ground behind Shun. "Netto, you keep battling Saiba," said David, "Us and the five Crossfusion Rangers will handle the Pantheons." "Alright," Netto complied, "Be careful, everyone." "Sonic Boom Collission!" All three Hunters shouted as they began unleashign wave after wave of Sonic Booms into the remaining Pantheons before not a single one remained, clearing a path to the stairs. "Let’s go, guys." Zero signalled everyone to retreat into the stairwell as he, David, and ForteZero ran and everyone started to leave while taking out their PETs and Synchro Chips. "Please come back, Netto," whispered Meiru. She gave the headbanded NetBattler a kiss for good luck and left with the others. With all of his companions now gone, Netto turned back to face Saiba who was just getting up from the ground. "What a touching display," commented Saiba, "It’s revolting, especially if you’re involved, Netto." "Shut it, Saiba! Let’s end this now!" * * * "What hope do you have of defeating me?" asked Omega X, "Saito Style failed and Forte Cross wouldn’t do any better for you. What can you possibly use against me?" "I’m not sure, but we’re going to fight with everything we’ve got!" shouted RockMan. "Then die!" Omega X held out his arms and began to power up for a charged Holy Light attack. "What should we do, Netto?" asked RockMan, "Saito Style doesn’t work on this guy." "And the darkness of Forte Cross failed miserably," was Netto’s reply, "But maybe that’s just it. Forte Cross deviates from our normal battle plan. We tried to invoke the power of darkness, but it failed. We have to fight with what we’re familiar with. We have to fight with the light!" "But Omega X controls the light!" the blue Navi argued. A flash suddenly passed through his mind and his eyes widened as memories from the past came flooding back. After a five minutes of silence from the blue Navi, "The Sun will rise again tomorrow," RockMan repeated in a whisper. As he repeated it again, his icon flashed bright gold. Why’s RockMan spacing out at a time like this? wondered Netto. "Hey RockMan, you okay?" he asked. "I finally understand now, Netto," RockMan answered, "To defeat our enemy, we must stay true to the light and fight with it, not against it." "What are you babbling about?" Omega X demanded, "I control the light!" "There’s more than one form of light and I’m going to use the true light to take you down!" "‘The true light’?" Omega X asked incredulously, "You must have received a few too many hits to your head from this battle." Sunlight began to shine down on the sanctuary from above and bathed the blue Navi in its golden rays. "THE SUN WILL RISE TOMORROW!" The emerald-eyed savior thrust his hand up into the air and his glove transformed into a silver gauntlet emblazoned with runes glowing as bright as the sun. A powerful beam of light shot up into the sky and massive rays of sunlight shot back down and engulfed RockMan. "What’s going on?" demanded Omega X. As to answer his question, a figure emerged from the sunlight. It was RockMan, but he had undergone a miraculous transformation. His entire bodysuit was brown with golden-orange stripes running down the sides. His legs were encased in a pair of shining golden knee-high boots. A large red gem was set into each knee guard and the toes slanted upward with a darker golden stripe lining the soles and tops of each boot and running down the center of the shins. His gloves were infused with shining golden bracers covering the entire lengths of his forearms with guards extending over the backs of his hands, which were covered with black, with red gems embedded into the material. Darker golden stripes lined the cuffs of the bracers and ran along the outer sides of his forearms. Golden armor had covered his torso and his shoulders and the outline of a blazing sun surrounded his icon. Two green shoulder guards covered his shoulders and brown mouthguard with two dark gold stripes under the eyes covered the lower half of RockMan’s face. His helmet was also shining gold and had been redesigned with four spikes jutting out the back and two crests on either side of his head, creating a resemblance to a lion’s main. A single horn stood up from the forehead flanked by a pair of red and white eye-like designs. A long crimson scarf was wrapped around his neck and flowed all the way down to his feet. "Now Omega X, time for you to face the true light!" * * * "Hmm, I remember all this so well. I was right when I pridicted RockMan being able to delete Omega X." "Well, you'd never miss a beat, except when it comes to failed plans in deleting those humans and the Hunters," said a dark evil voice. Sonance's eyes narrowed in disagreement. "I'd keep your mouth shut if I we're you, Double." Out from the shadows walked a mega-virus just like Shadow. Most of his limbs were made of a pinkish purple jelly-like substance. His knees has a band of metal with a green jewel in front, same for his elbows. His upper torso is covered in a golden yellow armor with red lines and blue cable cords coming from the back moving around over the shoulders into close to the neck. In the center of his chest is a green sphere-like jewel. A plate of metal covers around the crotch area, along with what looks like hip bands fused to the liquid metal at the sides of his hips and small yellow armor around the lower waist. The biceps have metal structure within, which is connected to the roundish golden yellow shoulder pads, each with two triangular horns of a darker color, lined with red orbs. His wrists are a gold band of metal which on the top conceals purple energy blades, the hands covered in white gloves with red circles lining the knuckles. The armored boots up to the shins are white and gold, the feet tipped upwards like Deathscythe Hell Custom, the soles plated with blue cyber metal. His face is lightly tanned, red eyes and black pupils, his helmet golden yellow with two horns curving back in a triangular shape. "Heh, you know I'm right," he sneered. She only ignored him. (Edit: Claymore Singer is an attack that when successful will leech a bit of health from the opponent. The stolen health gets transfered to Shadow, which is then converted to attack power for an added power boost for the next attack, or can be stacked to the cannon's charge function.) | He jumped off the wall, partially to the side, before airdashing towards the next wall, not charging his buster yet. "What do you think?" he asked, as his left arm smashed against the wall, even as he grabbed it again. The fact that his opponent was winged was bad news, however... at least, if he wanted to continue keeping that extra secret hidden. Activating his own additional wings, which spread from their hideout in the back, he began to run along the wall, where he was heading close to his opponent, and began pelting this new attack with more electric shots, before he jumped off the wall, airdashing at full speed at him.
However, he was hit by the attack from the back, and fell down, just in time to see more stuff. "What? Axl?" he asked, outloud, before jumping back onto another wall. Then, when David actually appeared, Xen blinked again, remembering Zekt's description... before getting irate again. "THAT'S MY ARMOR!" he complained, right before rushing up the wall once more. "And what the hell is Zero doing there?" he added, before jumping off and firing at Shadow again. |

| Hmm... So many questions unanswered. Shadow folded his wings in front, creating a shield to block out most of the damage of the attacks before flying towards the nearby roof of a building, where his wings retracted back into his back.
"What have you just done?" Omega X demanded. "I embraced the light and it infused me with its power," RockMan explained. "But I control the light! The light is my power!" "You only wield the light of the Crest of Arcadia! But I have embraced the true light – the light of the sun!" "The sun?" "That’s right, the sun." A wind began to blow across the battlefield and RockMan’s scarf began to flap as he looked up toward Omega X. "I AM SOL CROSS ROCKMAN!" "Heh, before you question about the Command Armor, that's a HUMAN who wears such technology, along with his wife Alia. As for Zero, he used to be the Zero Virus, but after a rough Navi almost deleted him years after the Zero Virus Incident, he was saved by that bastard and reformated to a new Navi frame. That's just his reploid body David created for him, his Navi ForteZero, Marino, Spider, and Forte. Zwëihandler!" Shadow's blade glowed before it morphed into a two bladed sword attached to the same hilt. He then brought it back then swung, releasing several energy waves from the blade. RockMan raised his hand over his head before bringing it back down and pointing his finger at Omega X. "Let’s end this now, Omega X. Once and for all." "My sentiments exactly." Omega X brought his arms into attack position and opened his hands, "Bring it on." RockMan took a step back and then charged forward. He leapt off the floor blinding speed and slammed his shoulder into Omega X, who cried out in surprise. He quickly pushed himself off his opponent and slammed his foot into his chin as he backflipped away. He gracefully landed back on the floor and his scarf settled behind him. "Amazing!" RockMan exclaimed as he stood up and looked at his hands, "This power is incredible! Netto, how are my stats looking?" "Unbelievable!" answered Netto, "Everything is off the chart! Strength, agility, spirit, vitality, the works!" Back on the battlefield, Omega X shook off the remaining effects of the surprise attack and glared down at his enemy. "You were lucky to catch me with my guard down, but I can assure you it won’t happen again." "Just what I was hoping for." RockMan grinned behind his mouthguard and dashed again. "Holy Light!" Omega X fired several white lasers from his hands, but his opponent dodged them with incredible agility. He turned and tried to immobilize him with a White Halo, but RockMan shot right under him and pushed himself off the floor. He flew up behind the seraphic Navi and held out his right arm. "Gun Del Sol!" His hand vanished as it was replaced by a Solar Gun. He took aim through the Sol Lens and fired a burst of sunlight into his opponent’s back. Omega X roared and turned around. He thrust one of his arms forward and slammed it into RockMan. The golden-armored Navi quickly grabbed on with his free hand and pulled himself on top of his foe’s hand before firing more shots. Omega X shook him off and his opponent landed safely. "White Halo Storm!" Several rings of light rained down on the field and RockMan danced around to avoid getting hit. As he came to a stop, a large cross appeared behind him. He flipped over it and pulled it out from the floor before flinging it at Omega X, who knocked it away with his arm. "You’ve suddenly become a lot more troublesome than before," the seraphic NetNavi observed, "It looks like prolonging your defeat is no longer an option." "Sorry Omega X, but the one who’s going down is you." He morphed his Gun Del Sol back into his hand and ran forward. Omega X sent one of his hands down to slam him, but he jumped up and it hit the ground. RockMan landed on top of the arm, jumped up at his foe, and slammed his fist against his face. Omega X’s entire body shuddered from the impact as his shining opponent dropped back down to the floor. He turned back around and pounced again. This time, he grabbed onto his enemy’s shoulders and slammed him down against the ground. Omega X quickly brought one of his arms around behind RockMan, grabbed his scarf, and pulled him away. As he got back up, he positioned his other arm in front of his enemy and fired a Holy Light straight into his chest. "Perhaps you would like to withdraw that last statement?" Omega X fired more lasers and they all struck the same spot just under RockMan’s icon. The golden-armored Navi winced as he tried to bear the pain and slowly looked up into his opponent’s eyes. "Actually, I wouldn’t." "AreaGrab Battlechip in, download!" Netto’s chip took effect and RockMan teleported out of Omega X’s grip. "Gun Del Sol!" As he reappeared overhead, he summoned his weapon and fired several Solar Shots down at his enemy. Omega X swung upward at him, but RockMan successfully dodged them all save for one punch, which he grabbed onto shortly after getting hit. He thrust himself down toward his foe and slammed his feet on top of his shoulders before leaping off, grabbing onto one of Omega X’s wings, and firing a Solar Spread. He quickly jumped off and landed back on the ground and looked up at his enemy. "Impressive," said Omega X, "but not amusing." "So what else have you got planned?" asked RockMan. "You’d be surprised. Ten Elements of the Sefirot!" Ten energy orbs materialized around Omega X and took on the shape of the Sefirot, each one marked with the symbol of one of the NetNavi combat types: Fire, Aqua, Elec, Wood, Sword, Breaking, Wind, Cursor, Stealth, and Obstacle. RockMan switched weapons as Netto slotted in a WideBlade. First, the Fire Orb launched an ElementFlare, which he managed to dodge. Next, the Aqua Orb unleashed an IceWave3 followed by the Elec Orb using Lightning and the Wood Orb using Lance. RockMan backflipped away from his enemy to avoid getting hit by the first two and sliced apart the bamboo spears as they came up. The Sword Orb then fire a Sonic Boom with the Breaking Orb launching a Cannonball. The scarf-bearing Navi flipped over the former and rolled to the side to avoid the latter. The Wind Orb used Twister, the Cursor Orb fired a MarkCannon3 shot, the Stealth Orb launched a shuriken, and the Obstacle Orb summoned a RockCube over RockMan’s head. "Prism Battlechip in, download!" Netto inserted a Prism chip into his PET and a large crystal appeared. RockMan ducked behind it and the Twister, MarkCannon3 shot, and shuriken hit its smooth crystalline surface. As a result, all three attacks were reflected off its faces in every direction, destroying the RockCube and also hitting Omega X in the process. * * * Meanwhile, back at Sonance's Throne, the female Forte-look-a-like watched the video image she refused to let stop. "Hehehe... all so very good." She was also enjoying the battle between her assistant and the reploid. |

| Landing on a nearby wall, Xen began to climb after him, standing fairly close... even if not close enough for either of them to not be able to miss. "A human? How annoying... now even humans can use my power? They should just allow those like I to protect them!" he replied, aiming his buster at him. "And about Zero? I'm one of the best people to talk about him! Not only was he my friend once, but we also fought more than enough for me to know his tricks... even now!" he replied, as his barrier was erected, as he began to switch once more.
'Hn... Shade Man. 7th Robot Rebellion. Was a partially blind bat-type Robot Master that relied in his Noise Crush to locate and attack his foes. Doesn't seem like he changed much... Then there's Dark Dizzy, that Maverick from the Fifth Uprising. His power was different, but still a choice... and then there was Hellbat Schilt, from the Third and my first rebirth,' he thought, as he accessed his files. 'Given their weaknesses, it's worth a shot... good thing it's on my profile at the moment.' When the barrier lowered, his color scheme had changed to a light cyan, and he fired ice spheres that were flying straight at the ground below Shadow. If they collided with it, they'd split and rebound, to the left, right, and straight up... |

| "Hm, this attack?" He grinned. He's seen ForteZero perform that type of move before on him. At the right time, he moved perfectly and with enough speed to avoid the attacks, and incase they we're homing, he launched a few homing missiles to intercept the ice attacks.
"Well, then your Zero is probably different than the Zero I know. Acute Laser Cannon!" He aimmed downward towards Xen while still in the air, and fired a powerful laster attack. "Are you going to fight or just stand there?" the seraphic Navi asked. "Don’t worry. You’ll get what’s coming to you." A sudden gust of wind blew RockMan’s scarf to the side and he leapt up at Omega X, who extended a pair of blades from his forearms and deflected his sword. He pulled himself up and swung out as he came back down. His enemy blocked with one arm blade and the two of them struggled against each other for a moment before RockMan’s blade slid off and he fell to the ground. He performed a few flips in the air and landed before turning around and jumping back up. Omega X readied his blades and struck. Their swords collided and bounded right off one another. RockMan swiftly countered, but his opponent parried his attack and lashed out with his other blade. He caught the smaller Navi in the ribs and left a gash in his side. RockMan fell back down and landed on his back. His WideBlade vanished as his chest heaved while he tried to recapture his breath. "RockMan, are you okay?" asked Netto. "Not sure," was the reply, "He got me pretty good there." "Maybe this will give you some extra spark." Netto held his PET closer to one of the UV lamps and the solar gauge instantly shot up to nine bars. His Navi’s body began to radiate with the light of the sun and the wound in his side vanished. With his wounds fully healed and his power levels increased dramatically, RockMan morphed his hand into his Gun Del Sol and ran back toward Omega X. "Again? You just keep coming back for more punishment." Omega X retracted his blades and summoned another Ten Elements of the Sefirot. With lion-quick reflexes, RockMan dodged all the attacks and pounced. He took aim and fired a Solar Shot, but this time it was much more powerful than before due to the extra power he was receiving. The blast hit its target and pushed Omega X back a short distance. "Program Advance!" shouted Saiba, "Harpuia, Phantom, Fefnir, Leviathan Battlechips in, download!" Copies of the four guardians appeared before Omega X with their weapons draw and they attacked at once. Harpuia sliced through RockMan with his lightsabers, Phantom slashed him with his shuriken, Fefnir slammed him headfirst into the ground with his pile bunker, and Leviathan stabbed him with her spear. Once the quartet had dealt their attacks, they vanished. "Looks like this sun cross thing doesn’t make you as omnipotent as you’d hoped," Saiba sneered. "We never expect absolute power from anything," was Netto’s response, "We fight with our own strength!" He slotted in a Recover300 and a V-Gun. A pink aura flashed around RockMan and healed him before arming him with the V-Gun. He took aim and fired several bursts of energy at his foe. "Seven Heavens!" Omega X spread out his wings and a ball of light appeared at the tip of each one while a seventh materialized between his hands. He thrust his arms forward and fired the balls at once. RockMan carefully timed his jump and passed safely between the orbs as he flew toward his opponent, firing his weapon nonstop. "Purgatorial Flame!" A massive pillar of fire erupted from under Omega X and knocked RockMan away. The emerald-eyed NetNavi hit the floor and skidded along it to the edge. He quickly rolled back and forth to extinguish the flames that were burning his clothes and armor and quickly got back up. "RockMan, try these. IceCube and ColdPunch Battlechips in, download!" Netto armed his Navi with a large blue fist and summoned a block of ice in front of him. RockMan lifted the obstacle into the air and tossed it up. He jumped after it and smashed his ColdPunch into it. The IceCube shattered and he sent the shards flying toward Omega X and cutting deep wounds into his body. "Damn you, RockMan!" the seraphic NetNavi cursed. "If you think that’s bad, wait until you see this!" shouted RockMan. Netto sent him DoubleJump and AirShoes and he leapt high into the air before a set of jets appeared under his boots and boosted him higher up. "How about a little Gravity Drive?" Omega X summoned a white and gold GravityMan and absorbed his power into a gravity ray. Several waves of energy pulled down on RockMan and he was sent plummeting back down toward his opponent. "IronBody Battlechip in, download!" Netto slotted in his chip and watched as his Navi curled up into a ball and his body transformed into solid iron. The Gravity Drive continued to pull down on him and RockMan shot down like a meteor and slammed down on top of Omega X. When the dust cleared, everyone could see him crouching on top of his enemy’s back. "How’d you do that?" asked Saiba. Netto smirked and wiped his thumb across the side of his nose. "Let’s just say I picked it up from one of my friends," was his answer, "TankCannon3 Battlechip in, download!" RockMan’s hand transformed into a massive cannon and he planted the barrel against his opponent’s back. "I normally don’t strike my enemy when he’s down, but in this case I’m willing to make an exception." He fired and the recoil blew him right off of his opponent. Omega X groaned as he pushed himself up off the floor and floated back up into the air. He dusted himself off and brought his arms back to his sides. "His so-called ‘true light’ is proving to be more powerful than my own light," he said to himself, "We must cut his energy supply. Saiba!" "I already have an idea, Omega X," Saiba assured his Navi. He walked over to a wall and smashed open a glass box before punching the button encased within it. Almost immediately, all the black lights shattered. Netto gasped as he watched the solar gauge drop down to zero. "RockMan, we’re cut off!" he exclaimed. Omega X chortled as he hovered over to RockMan and overwhelmed him with several Holy Lights. The emerald-eyed Navi screamed as he was thrown back, but his opponent grabbed him by his scarf before he could go off the edge into the fiery abyss below. "You’re not escaping me that easily," Omega X said, "There’s only one way you’re going to die and that’s by my hands!" He brought his enemy closer and held him in front of his face. By this time, Shadow had already flown off to distance himself from his opponent via flying high above the city. "Hehehe... this is around the time I attacked David and his friends as they boarded that helicopter, and he began to give chase all around Neo Arcadia's shining city utopia. And if I remember correctly after viewing that file when I came back from deletion, Sonance's predictions came true..." Inside the server, RockMan’s entire body began to radiate with the light of the sun and his eyes snapped open. He grabbed onto Omega X’s claws and flipped himself on top of his hand, slamming his feet down hard and freeing his scarf. He stood up to his full height and leapt high into the sky. The white light that was shining down was suddenly replaced by a blinding golden light as a massive sun appeared in the sky. Omega X was blinded by the brilliant star as RockMan flashed down toward him and slammed his entire weight down. He leapt off his opponent and kicked him back up. Omega X floated away and shook his head. "Damn you, RockMan! Light of the Sef…" He never got to finish calling his attack as his opponent slammed his fist against his face. He tried to grab him, but RockMan pushed himself away and spun around before delivering a strong kick to the seraphic NetNavi’s hand. "Gotcha!" Omega X’s other arm shot out and grabbed his foe. RockMan struggled in his grasp for a moment before he forced the fingers open. His feet pushed against his palm and his fifth finger while his hands strained against the thumb and index finger. Holding off the other appendages at bay with his leg and arm, he glared at Omega X. "Foolish mistake!" the white Navi exclaimed, "Holy Light!" With lighting quick reflexes, RockMan leapt free from his opponent’s hand and smashed the gem in the center of his palm. "WHAT?!" Omega X stared disbelievingly at the smoke that was coming out of his hand as his enemy landed on top of his arm. RockMan clasped his hands together and raised them over his head. Then, with all his might poured into his arms, he slammed them down and smashed through Omega X’s right arm. He landed back on the floor of the sanctuary as pieces of white armor fell around him. "This can’t be!" shouted Omega X, "I don’t believe it!" "Believe it," answered RockMan, "because this is really happening. No matter what the obstacle, the true light will always shine through!" "You think you’ve actually won?" Omega X demanded, "You haven’t faced my most devastating technique of all!" He floated higher up and raised his remaining arm over his head. "Descend Heartless Angel!" A brilliant white light emerged from Omega X and surrounded his body. His wings extended to ten times their length and the radiance spread out in all directions. "Gun Del Sol!" RockMan morphed his hand into his Solar Gun and took aim. Omega X laughed and sneered at his opponent. "Do you think that tiny thing can stop my attack?" he jeered. RockMan said nothing, but merely replied by pulling the trigger and firing a single Solar Shot. It pierced through Omega X’s light and struck him hard on the chest, pushing him away. "But how?! My attack was unstoppable!" "Everything has a weakness!" answered RockMan, "An attack spanning a range like yours did is built to overwhelm. It invokes fear into your enemies before it deals massive damage to them. But when one remains calm, he can find a weakness and I found that weakness. A small fast-moving attack can easily bypass the attack and hit the source." He morphed his arm back and dashed forward. He leapt up behind Omega X and latched onto his back. He then squeezed his eyes shut and cried out as he began pulling with all his might. The seraphic NetNavi screamed out as his lower-left and middle-right wings were ripped right out of his body. RockMan thrust himself toward the sky and flipped over his opponent’s head. He grabbed onto his shoulder and swung around with a kick aimed at the side of his neck before dropping back down and slamming both feet against his chest, cracking the seal on which the Crest of Arcadia shined. He landed in the very center of the seal on the floor and raised his hands up toward the sun. "TAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" A brilliant flash of sunlight filled the battlefield as cores of the four generators of the Pile Driver appeared around the golden-armored Navi. Each one of them launched a beam of sunlight toward the center and they met where RockMan stood, creating a blazing bright ball of light. The Navi cloaked in the crimson scarf drew his Gun Del Sol again, held it to the shining orb, and began charging. The Pile Driver began to build an even larger sphere and he aimed it up at Omega X. He took one last look at his opponent and released his hold on the trigger. The Pile Driver launched the ball of sunlight from the Gun Del Sol and it struck the target with maximum power. Omega X cried out as the attack hit him and exploded on impact. His armor cracked and the seal on his chest bearing the Crest of Arcadia shattered. He slowly fell backward and plunged toward the fiery abyss. "No…" he gasped, "…the Crest…of…Arcadia…" The Crest of Arcadia faded from his chest and before his eyes went dark, he saw Sonance held her open palm before his face, and then was absorbed before she logged out. RockMan stood on top of the sanctuary tall and proud as he looked down at his fallen foe and gave a satisfied nod. He returned to the center of the seal and raised his arms toward the sun once again. The Crest of Arcadia started to glow under his feet as the Pile Driver shot beams of light into his body and he let out a deafening scream. A massive wave of sunlight shot out from his body in all directions and the entire nation of Neo Arcadia began to shine as bright as the sun. Across the planet, Pantheons disappeared in masses until not a single one remained. The Crest of Arcadia vanished from the captured Navis and they all disappeared from the lower sanctuary, returning to their operators. But the salvation didn’t stop there. Every single image of the Crest of Arcadia disappeared or broke upon being bathed in sunlight until the seal in the highest sanctuary shattered. However, a peice of it was saved by an unknown force and it vansihed before being detected. The Pile Driver vanished and RockMan lowered his arms. He opened his eyes and stood for a moment in the highest heaven before dropping back down. He landed in the center of the now-empty lower sanctuary and his scarf dropped around his ankles. And with his work finally complete, Rockman logged out of the now empty Arcadia server. And then, all the screens that displayed the video file crackled and vanished, replaced with static. | "Grr..." he growled, angrily, as he fired off some more blasts at him, although it was clear they weren't homing, and more to either harm him and distract the missiles. "And yeah, that's what Zekt told me, but I didn't want to believe him. Then again, he told me that the Bass here is a girl and actually strong enough to give him a workout," he added, tsk'ing. It should be obvious who he was talking about...
When Shadow fired the Laser Cannon, Xen just ran away, around him, as he began to examine his own files once more. 'He's probably used to that... would be hard for him to avoid it, otherwise. Hellbat is out, then... Dizzy?' he thought, before rechecking his files again. Then, he shook his head. 'No such luck... gonna have to hope he does have a weakness...' he thought, before the screen drew his attention again. "Even them? That damn copycat..." he grunted, before realizing his opponent was flying away. "Oh, no, you don't..." he muttered, before dashing after him, his wings aiding in his propelling. "Come on, weren't you trying to kill me?" he asked, irritated. (PM question: mind telling me more of what happened during that situation?) |
