Having very recently gotten my N64 to work, got a copy of SM64 that works, I've been playing it all the way through. When I was getting the 100-coin star for Dire Dire Docks, when I obtained the star, somehow I was teleported to the bottom of the sea bed for the "you got the 100-coin star, save?" message, after that, I was teleported to the surface of the water

This might be a bit hard to understand. I was able to reproduce the glitch, then later I did it again in Mupen64. Attached is a movie file of it, requires the TASVideos version of Mupen64 to play. The video is unoptimized (five minutes long); yes you might notice savestates were used, but only when I fell off a pole or didn't jump right, otherwise I was playing it full-speed and somewhat slowly (still about four minutes faster than I did on the real console) It might actually be somewhat pointless to have recorded the whole getting-coins part, because after coin 99 is where it's interesting.

edit: ah damn, didn't realize how mupen64 did movies starting from a savestate. can't play the one I uploaded. Here's a new one with the savestate and without the boring coin-getting http://quick.dropfiles.net/681590
