| Anybody know where that official recall site might be located. I bought an 12 inch iBook G4 in May and I sure as hell don't want it blowing up. I've never been good at knowing if laptops are running too hot because I always think they're hotter than they should be (My desktop runs at about 17C). Anyways, thanks if anyone knows where to look that up, because I couldn't find it on apple's site. | |||

| If your battery feels warmer than the machine itself, then you'd have to worry. Otherwise, an overheating laptop (although bad), is not indicative that you have a faulty battery. | |||

| Well, there are always defects in the manufacturing process... Cars have been around for almost 100 years and there are still recalls for faulty ignition switches and stuff like that... |
