Author's NOTE: I've been brainstorming a plot for something I've wanted to work on, thought I'd put this down and see if anyone wanted to add to their brain juice into my mix.

____________________________________________________________________

"OK, let's recap. The Marines posted there have taken defensive positons at this neuclear test facility they were once guarding. We get a message from their commander, an ARMY Lieutennant of all people, saying that they will use a nuke to lay waste to the Mississippi junction if we don't give into their demands. To make things worse, they used an airborne agent on everyone here just before I arrived. You, want me, to go in there and take them all out?"

Trent waited for a reply amid all the coughing. Major Shoawshanna was nuts. Dispite his expirence with Delta Force and the fact that he is the highest scoring biological expert on the feild right now, its still nuts.

"Agent Dagle," The Major responded between bouts of coughing. "We already tired sending in a Delta force team. Save for their CO, they were wiped out. However, their mission wasn't to take care of the problem. That's why we have you here. They were to deploy recon robots to survey the area. But 9 men against 200 marines?"

"And what chance do I have by myself? Or did you go that far into the plan?"

"The recon bots have weapons in them, 50 rounds each. We've already set up two to be a diversion. The havok we are causing should be enough to get you inside. These guys got their stuff together. They know it better than anyone and the bigger the diversion, the better are your chances to deal with them on a smaller level. By now, they probly have fire teams looking about. They can't possibly be looking for these robots and defending the facility without streaching their resources. We've got good intel so far."

As the Major spoke, Trent listened to everything said to him: A company of Marines, Army LT, undergound facilities, reports of strange creatures, Mark IV suit, The Delta force CO still on site, time frame due to the recon bots, and possible assasinations on any of the science staff that have a lent a hand to this coup. All of this located in a base, on a hill, facing the river. Cairo, Illinois...the best place for a neuclear facility. What really got to him was the last question he asked.

"I'm a realist. What if I don't make it?" Trent remembered saying as he's slowly making his way to the western entrance.

"We have a plan for that also. Just, do what you can."

[I'll answer your question like it was part of the story]

Alpha base: 5 hours ago.

Agent Dagle studied the documents like he was rehearsing for a play. Repeating line after line after line until it stuck. It's how he got in this business. It was hard at first, but it's been easier since then. Especially after he took that stenographer's job where he developed a good working mnemonic. He wrote in his own notes in the dossier and remembered them too. It seems silly but he writes key points that, if remembered in his style, become something more of objectives. There have been times where he was sitting down near unconsciousness from the chemicals that he's had to deal with and simply reciting all he remembers that keeps him going. Believing he's finished, he speaks out loud one final time:

Location:
"The Nabotage Nuclear facility (NNF) was erected on a man made hill located in Cairo, Illinois. The facility was built 1978 essentially as a storage and collection facility (cold war). It has 4 entry points with a paved road for vehicle traffic located in its West entrance. The other three (N: train, E: Mil wheels, S: Escape) are used for military purposes. Contains barracks, Medical building, offices, and warehouse which has both an above ground and below ground storage. The underground portion of the warehouse contains 7,500 total drums of nuclear waste stored on 500 feet of concrete (leaking?). The barracks can house a standard company of uniformed militia (205 Marines)."

Opfor:
“Personnel currently servicing the facility are 1397th reactionary force. Assigned to the installation in 2003 and scheduled to rotate out in 2008. Commanded by 1LT Keith Donwell. This company consist four platoons: standard strength (50: 48 troops, 1 PSG, 1 LT), Company commander and 4 Warrant officers. Primarily used to defend the site and transport materials into and out of the facility."

After reciting, Agent Dalge sat down and sighed. Cairo, being on the southern most tip of Illinois, was a dangerous yet tactical place to house a storage facility. The neighboring states, not to mention all states connected to the Mississippi river, would never recover from the fallout of this site going to hell. During the cold war, if Russia were ever destroy this site, there would be little left of the spoils out of this disaster. That Army LT new that well, you can't apply heavy tactics, and the place is locked up so tight that the few places you actually can send men in are closely watched. I'm sure that Major has already tried something. He'll find out about it in the briefing.

Intruders, who else? The marines are the "bad guys" in this case. They are being controlled but I'll intro duce that later.

Sorry about the lack of posting quickly. Things to do in with my church and the Guard. Please have paticence.

The infiltrater is a ninja named Vincent currently in marine gear. the reason he is in merine gear is that he has been spying on the U.S. Marines for 6 mounths and he has got commands to make inflitration easier

wow...the last time I posted here, I was 27 ( I'm 28 now). So Here we go with more of the story.
____________________________________________________________________

The major stifled a cough. Whatever was sprayed around this area sure as hell isn't affecting those Marines inside the compound. He sneezed.

"I know I sent that runner to go get some pills for this s@#t...where the hell is he?"

...
The soldier in question, PFC Jacob Sillens, was tired. He had been running for about 5 miles already at top speed. He stopped to get his bearings, turned a quick left, and then continued to trot down a gravel path to an out of the way house. It was a home that appeared simple on the outside, but once inside the house, you could tell that it was being used for a military information collection point. Sophisticated millitary tech, cords, and coffee cups were strewn about the house powered by the house's electricity in lieu of a generator. In one corner of the house a man stood up. He was in his 50's with graying hair and hard eyes. This man also happened to be a General, who sized up the Private with some disdain and snorted:

" Are you here for the Major?"

"Sir, yes sir!" Jacob shouted.

The General took the time to notice the glossy look in the Private's eyes. He was not certain if the soldier could acknowledge, let alone see, anything with that eyesight. That damned chemical was worth every penny he spent his hard earned cash on and it will go on to some good in this world. He was sure of it. Just needed to get to it first. Still, he had samples. One of which was handed to Sillens.

"Get something cheap for the major. One that won't last long. Make him dependant on that cheap medication. If I have to talk to him, it means the operation is FUBAR and you are intructed to give him this spray instead of the meds. You are then to withdraw your sidearm and elimiate yourself." He told him.

Most people in the world, would balk and what was just told to them. Self-preservation would be paramount in anyone else's life, even in a military setting. PFC Sillens took the sample and pocketed it. He then responded:

"Yes sir, thank you sir. Your orders will be carred out to the letter."

The soldier turned around and left. The General was pleased with how this operation was running smothly. Always methodical, he planned out most of the situation going down and the facility he was monittoring. He figured the Marines would be enough to handle the situation, but that Major is pretty clever and now that chemical specialist is making things more complicated. Well, the soldier will elemiate one problem and the Marines should take care of the other shortly.

He sat back in his chair and looked at a Grandfather Clock ticking away.

"Soon. Very soon. I'll have just what I need to get this country's strenght back to where it needs to be."
