| JDavis: We're simply assessing the situation. Melvin's always been a force to be reckoned with, but normally he relies on his technology... Right now he's using some previously unseen power, and I can't help but feel that it's related to what we saw from that construction robot today.
---------- Meanwhile... A blonde, lab coat wearing woman with purple wings landed on the red-baseball-cap-shaped top of Kirby Robo. Simultaneously, a relatively small, beige fighter craft with red accents and a blue windshield pulled up beside Kirby Robo. Two objects of a similar style orbited this small craft. Fem: Figured you could use a hand, Kirb. Guts: We know what we doing! |

BOOSTER: We don't want to blow up the Q-Parts, too! 
--- The retro-thrusters on the Get-Machine speeding along in front of Kirby Robo and it's new ZIG companion fired, causing the red single-seater to jerk backwards and allow it's two pursuers to rocket ahead of it. With skillful lever pulling on Mel's part -- the red plane tilts backwards, it's nose pointing straight into the sky as serious thrust vectoring takes place. He shoots off into the sky, and no sooner do Kirbynite, Guts, and Fem realize this when a pair of planes, one white and one yellow, nearly clip their crafts, racing upwards to meet the first member of the group, as the outskirts of Tokyo-3 slowly begin to crawl into view. --- Smithy suddenly leans forward, shouting at the video feed like armchair referees shouting at professional sports players on a television. | The Kirby Robo was ready to give chase after the redirection until he realized what was going on. He started to slow down, hoping Guts and Fem would get the idea.
Kirbynite: Hold on a bit, guys. It looks like he's doing that whole combining thing... I think we might need a bit more backup... I know my mech fighting style doesn't suit the machine I'm piloting, so it's potential's rather low... Kirbynite cuts off the communication for a moment.. Kirbynite: Hey, Rock. | As blue beams sharply penetrated scattered cloud cover and blasted into the upper atmosphere, the three planes, one yellow, one red, and one white, independently weaved in and out of the scattered beams.
--- SMITHY: He should've combined by now.. BOOSTER: He hasn't requested combination approval yet, has he? In most of Japan's transforming gattai super robots -- approval from the Main Order Room is required to perform transformation sequences. Even if the proper robot components are aligned, hard-coded software locks will prevent the transformation mechanisms from activating. Almost on cue, one of the female technicians pipes up. COMMUNICATOR: Mr. Booster? The President is requesting combination for Melvin Robo G-- Booster leans over slightly to get a better view of the girl's screen. As she said, the confirmation dialog for Melvin Robo G's gattai sequence is present... and without touching anything, the box at the bottom suddenly flips over and says "APPROVED." in bold red lettering. BOOSTER: WHAT THE FUCK DOUBLE: Did he just BYPASS the hardware locks? ._. --- The red Get-Machine parted from the white and yellow Get-Machines, climbing sharply into the air. The yellow one sped up as the white plane slowed down slightly -- causing them to collide in a rear-ender. However, they linked, and two black legs ejected out of the yellow plane's thrusters, locking into place. The conjoined planes killed their thrusters -- and began to dive down towards Tokyo-3 below. MELVIN: Get-Machines, Cooooombine! The red Get-Machine dove sharply, it's speed increasing as it quickly caught up with the two other planes. The plane rolled over in midair, then pushed ahead of the two combined planes, before braking suddenly and slamming into the front of the white plane as well. The twin thrusters separated out to the sides, as white arms ejected from them and locked into place as well, the hands at the end of each clenching into fists momentarily. Flipping over, the now vaguely humanoid robot continued to descent, it's feet now towards the ground. Nanites come into play as a stiff white coat materializes over the robot's form, while blocky-looking brown hair forms atop the transforming head of the red plane. The robot's mismatched colors change from the ground up, like water climbing vertically up a piece of paper towel. Almost as an afterthought, two shimmering circular spectacles form over the robot's eyes, making it a nigh-perfect resemblance to the President of Japan, as it crashes into the street, sinking into the pavement almost to it's ankles. MEL: Melvin! The Melvin Robo G turns around, raising both arms above it's head. MEL: Robo! The super mechanoid snaps it's arms at it's waist in the classic horse stance, as the background turns dark and green bolts of lightning fill the background. MEL: G! |

Kirbynite: No time for sass. Kirby Robo, still in the air, tilted downwards and began to descend. The pink mech sped through the air, aiming itself at the Melvin Robo G. Eventually, Kirby Robo spun around, and pointed both feet at its target. The entire body started to twirl. It twirled faster and faster until Kirby Robo looked like a giant dart, which was aiming straight for Melvin's mech. |

| An awesome attack! As the Kirby Robo became a whirling blur and pierced cloud cover, hurtling towards Melvin Robo G, the robot seemed to stiffen in anticipation. And as the pink projectile came close -- the super mechanoid slammed both arms forward, trapping Kirby Robo's spinning feet between it's hands.
The force of impact sent Melvin Robo G backwards, it's feet dragging and breaking through the asphalt as it moved, kicking up debris and smoke. As the two skidded to a stop, Melvin Robo G still stood, holding Kirby Robo in place... and then it's upper section began to spin wildly while Mel held the robot's feet in place, much like a drill with a bit stuck in the wall. MEL: Melvin... The Melvin Robo G's glasses flash briefly, before beginning to glow a bright purple. --- SMITHY: Comm! Get me on line with underground, I want Melvin Robo taken out of storage! COMMUNICATOR: Ah... H-hai. BOOSTER: Melvin Robo? You don't have the permissions for that. SMITHY: You an' me are Co-Presidents, I don't need permission for shit. BOOSTER: Melvin Robo can't hold a candle to Melvin Robo G. SMITHY: Well, shit, guess I'm gonna have to go out there and get my ass kicked with Kirbynite, won't I? JD, let's get going. --- Outside, the runway beside the reflection pool standing before Building B had already begun to descend. Inside the massive underground bunker, one of the many metal storage pallets was being removed and unsealed; This one contained three planes, one red, one yellow, one white... all far more primitive and blocky-looking than the sleek Get-Machines Mel had been piloting minutes before. --- MELVIN: Beam! The lenses on the Melvin Robo G's face lit up as twin purple beams emerged from them, directed straight at the Kirby Robo in his hands. |

| Melvin could've won a field goal with the amount of kick his attack did on Kirby Robo. The pink mech flailed about in the air, with Kirbynite trying his hardest to regain control.
Megaman.EXE: Kirby! I don't think you can get close enough! Kirbynite: I have to keep trying. Just as the mech broke through the clouds and was greeted by the sun, Kirbynite finally managed to regain control. Kirbynite: It's the only thing I can do with this thing without resorting to using a city for a weapon. The dreamlander opened a video connection to Gooey's lab. Kirbynite: Gooey! Have you gotten the Heavy Lobster back? Gooey: Eh? Kirbynite: Heavy Lobster! That thing is strong enough to give me the time I need to jack Rock into Melvin's super robot! Gooey: Wha? Kirbynite: ... Have you forgotten why I'm out here? Gooey: Oh, getting rock back soon. Thanks, bye. And just like that, the vid screen closed up. Kirbynite: For the love of... The Dreamlander grunted as he pushed on some controls. Kirby Robo proceeded to fly downward once again. However, Kirbynite was not going for another divebomb. Instead, he was going to do a flyby to rack up some damage. A turrent appeared from Kirby Robo's mouth, and began explosive shells all over Melvin Robo G, completely filling the area up with smoke. |

The Melvin Robo G crossed it's arms, standing proudly as explosive shells deflected from their courses with small orange flashes, completely missing the mecha, yet still engulfing a city block in thick plumes of smoke. --- PASSERBY: No one could survive that much smoke! =O --- MEL: Chain Knuckle! Out of the thick black fog came two spinning, rocket-propelled black fists, each with heavy metal chains attached to the back of them, both directed straight at Kirby Robo! |

The Zig quickly moved to a parralel course with the fists, and caught the left one in its tractor beam, sending it right back at Melvin Robo G. Fem, meanwhile, flew in the path of the right fist, pulled an oversized piko-piko hammer out of seemingly mid-air, and struck the fist with the hammer just as it reached her. The fist was deflected back towards Melvin Robo G, but not with the accuracy or velocity of the left fist. |

| Both chains immediately began to retract as the twin fists came back at the Melvin Robo G, snapping both straight and pulling them back into the robot's wrists as they followed the chains attached to them.
MEL: Me- SMITHY: Missile Storm! A half-dozen micromissiles came out from down a street unexpectedly, almost catching Mel off guard. Melvin Robo G quickly swiveled-- MEL: Melvin Beam! The twin purple beams moved with the robot, arcing through the air and cutting each missile in half with artful precision, causing it to explode in a cloud of smoke. And as the smoke started to thin, in a fighting stance, with twin, glowing yellow lenses, stood-- SMITHY: Melvin Robo! -- at the opposite end of the street from the Melvin Robo G. Melvin Robo, the predecessor to Melvin Robo G, had the same visual style and was similar to Mel in appearance, but had a far blockier and primitive design compared to Melvin Robo G's. | Kirbynite: Secret Technique! Thousand Years of Pain!
Megaman.EXE: This is not right. 
Obviously, a robot wasn't going to feel true pain from this sort of attack, but you have to agree that a giant robot was not made to be attacked in this manner. Kirbynite used all of the confusion to his aid to set up the Kirby Robo for attack; the smoke caused from the turret fire, Guts and Fem dealing with the flying fists (Kirbynite: Thanks guys!), and even Smithy jumping into the fray. Kirby Robo had dove into the smoke and positioned himself to be behind Melvin Robo G. The arms were positioned into a kancho position, and the pink mech then rocketed right into his target. | The Melvin Robo G's head swiveled around slightly, eyes flickering brightly for a moment at the sight of Kirby Robo.
SMITHY: W... what the fuck.  ;
The Melvin Robo G unblinkingly lodged it's hand in the Kirby Robo's forehead, then flung it off into the distance like a pink, robotic baseball. -- SMITHY: Melvin! The Melvin Robo pointed a finger daringly at the Melvin Robo G. SMITHY: This is unforgivable! I won't allow you to do as you please! The other robot was silent for several moments -- until it's left fist began to slowly spin around at a rapidly increasing rate. MEL: I'll tell you the same thing I told Kirbynite. Do not stand in my way. SMITHY: I'll stand in your way whether you like it or not! MEL: Chain Knuckle! SMITHY: Chain Knuckle! Melvin Robo pulled both of it's arms back and thrust them forward as twin fists fired off the wrists, flying towards the opposite end of the street with chains trailing behind them. Melvin Robo G only fired one spinning fist, swiveling with the left arm to the side, then punching forward to send it on it's way. All three fists collided in mid-air, glancing off one another; The Melvin Robo G's Chain Knuckle, however, struck between the two fists fired by Melvin Robo, causing them to glance off at various angles and leave the Chain Knuckle on it's course unimpended. SMITHY: I shouldn't have fired both~ Melvin Robo was struck directly in the chest, and was send skidding back through the pavement as the fist spun around, grinding deeper into the pothole made by the original impact of the fist. Both of Melvin Robo's fists quickly retracted, but the Melvin Robo G's fist snapped back to it's owner before he could make a grab at it. |

| BOOSTER: As a matter of fact, there is. Return to Floor 60 on Building C with JDavis, and look after the Q-Part stored there. There isn't the slightest doubt as to if that's where he's headed.
--- MEL: Melvin Beam! SMITHY: Iku ze! Melvin Beam! Still at opposite ends of the street -- the two Melvin Robos, Melvin Robo and Melvin Robo G, fired twin purple beams from their eyes, which crashed to a halt in the middle of the street, the sudden shockwave shattering the glass of buildings in the street. This was no long, drawn out Dragon Ball Z laser beam struggle -- within moments, the Melvin Robo G's beam split through the other purple beam down the middle -- and impaled the Melvin Robo right through the chest, barely avoiding impacting the Getter Reactor inside. SMITHY: H... holy shit--! But nonetheless, the Getter Reactor, and the entire robot, had been disabled. The Melvin Robo listlessly dropped to it's knees, then collapsed forward onto it's face. Moments later, the Melvin Robo G sent a heavy foot down onto the back of the mecha's head, flattening it into the ground. MEL: Open Get! The Melvin Robo G split into three parts, all of which quickly transformed back into their component Get-Machines, which boosted off towards the three M-Tek Buildings at the center of the city, even through support fire laid down by units of the JSDF which were finally arriving at the scene. --- Booster begins pushing Snipes towards the elevator. BOOSTER: He's coming! Go, go! Double, JD, you two go with him! |

| Megaman.EXE: Kirb, there's a lot of defenses in here.. I mean, sure, you call me a hero type and all, but that doesn't mean a little help won't be bad, right? .... Kirby? Kirbynite, are you there?
The navi slowly trekked across translucent walkways, occasionally dealing with viruses modified to serve as Melvin Robo G's defenses in the cyber world. He expected these waves of easy viruses to end soon, as it'd eventually waste more cycles than it would to generate stronger ones. Kirbynite: Sorry, Rock I was kinda... thrown out of range. I'm keeping my distance, but I don't think I want to dive at him again. I'll send you some chips.. Kirbynite's navi stood still for a moment, and closed his eyes. When he opened his eyes, a green shield formed around him. Megaman.EXE: Most of these chips are defensive. What gives? Kirbynite: I wouldn't doubt that you'll eventually deal with long range enemies. Megaman.EXE: Oh, right, like me, with a PET user that prefers things with agility, is going to be hit by a sniper. 
Kirbynite: Don't get cocky. With those chips, you'll atleast survive long enough to find out if there is a long range attacker. Megaman.EXE: ... Why are you still talking to me? Shouldn't you be fighting? Kirbynite: ... Because... I'm kinda.. following him. I'm waiting until Gooey tells me where Heavy Lobster is, or when there's another attack being launched on Melvin.. | Having seen what appeared to happen to Smithy, Snipes wasted no time in getting into the elevator. Once inside along with JDavis, Snipes shook his head.
"Sheeit. So, I take it that Smithy just got squashed? Anyways, When we get there, I have a little plan." Handing three triangles with silvery sides off to JDavis, Snpeis looked him in the eye. "Place these around the room, facing the center of it and out of the way. I might be able to confuse his 'Mel' guy a bit. In case you're wondering, they're force-hologram projectors." |

| JDavis: Yeah, that'll work for a whole five seconds.
Regardless of his objection, JDavis Robo proceeded to move about the room, placing the triangles at roughly equal intervals. ---------- Meanwhile... Guts: Alright, time to get serious. Weapons to full power! The two pods orbiting the ZIG suddenly increased in size, roughly equaling the ZIG itself. Guts: Quint.EXE, Sakugarne.EXE, JACK IN! The two pods moved away from the main unit of the ZIG, and began moving independently. Quint.EXE: Alright, it's about time we saw some real action! Sakugarne.EXE: Sakugarne! The blue parts on the pod being controlled by Quint.EXE changed to green, and the pod began firing large green V-shaped blasts which homed in on Melvin Robo G. The other pod, controlled by Sakugarne.EXE, switched its weapons to rapid-firing bursts of red energy which fired in a wide spread. This was indicated by the blue parts of the pod changing to a red color. The main part of the ZIG, piloted by Guts, stuck to the blue laser weapon, though it was now firing much thicker lasers. The three moved to encircle Melvin Robo G, firing from all directions. Fem, meanwhile, was analyzing the battle from high in the air, waiting for the most opportune moment to attack. |
