| Metal Man was caught unaware by the move, and was sent flying backwards, trying to avoid most of the move... but his legs weren't as resistant anymore, and he screamed in pain when he landed on them.
The meteors weren't homing, thankfully, but that didn't help much the fact that, when he attempted to jump out of the way, he smashed onto another meteor, and one more hit his body on the front, and he crashed down on the ground again. Then, just as he thought things couldn't get worse, she had to attack again... and he was hit full-on by the Grand Break, sent spiraling away, his body banging onto the ground ever so often. Finally, when he stopped, his breathing was shallow... his body felt broken - hell, he probably had broken his limbs during that last part - his armor was cracked in several pieces, exposing his real body... and, as he rubbed a hand over his mouth, he noticed his mask was gone. In fact, it felt like his entire HELMET was blown off him! He tried to get up once more, but only managed to raise himself enough that he wasn't going to be lying on the ground. He didn't show many signs of being pained, although he doubted he was going to recover any soon, and still glared at her intensely, refusing to give in to exhaustion... (Congratulations, he's at 1 HP.) |

| She smirked as she floated out of the crater, and looked down on him, pressing her right foot up against his face. "They say reploids have a better advantage against humans, but against an alien like myself... a NetNavi for one; I always knew you wouldn't stand a chance against me." She kicke dherself off him floating higher in the air before he summoned around twenty blocks of ice, and lets it all fall down over him.
Once he has been defeated, a cosmic warp will open up and he'll get booted back to where his other friends are, then close up. |

| Right before the ice blocks even began falling...
*SWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISHSWISH* The blocks all exploded into fine shards, and, if she had looked back at that moment, she'd have seen an extremely pissed-off Zekt (Form 2, to be more exact) preparing to knee her. Once he did, he began to dash around her, disappearing and reappearing only to either kick or punch her, even if these attacks were leaving continuous afterimages. Kick, punch, punch, kick, knee, elbow... he moved too fast for her eyes, her sensors, anything to follow! At that moment, she could see him hover lower, before he dealt four continuous strikes, one at her chest from below, another at her right side, flipping her body, one more at her now right side, horizontally, and finally a kick at her back, from the top, sending her straight down. -=- On the ground, meanwhile, another Zekt kneeled close to Daedalus, examining him. "Great... you just had to smash your body to oblivion, didn't you?" he said, before shaking his head. "And Xen is gonna be so disappointed..." "S-she-she d-did-" Daedalus tried to say, but he winced; there were sparks already flowing through his body, and the Reploid couldn't help but gasp in pain. Zekt sighed, before sending a signal to Lan, who immediately sent an energy field at the location, before teleporting Daedalus. Then, he fizzed out of existance. | She had already flown through another Cosmic Warp after she summoned those Icecubes. Plus laying at the ground where she used to be was one of David's spare Energy Subtank's for Metal Man.
* * * In another part of the universe -- Dreamland to be persised -- a Cosmic Warp opened, and she flew out of it, clad in her Shark Soul. She was at Float Islands, famous for its wonderful tropical weather. She looked around, seeing alot of the inhabitants crowding the beaches. "Nice sunny weather." She walked over otthe bar and sat down for a small drink. "Never seen you around here before," the barkeep said as he handed her a Martini. She took a light sip and replied, "I'm new here..." "Ohh, a traveler, eh? Lots of folks come down here for the beaches, since our weather has inproved." She only smiled and turned around in her seat, and overlooked the beautiful view of the ocean, and the small islands in the distance. * * * Back at the now old battlefield, the warp still remained open. Maybe she forgot to close it? Not likely, they closed up after Zekt would dive through it. | Zekt grumbled, as he saw he had missed. Of course, the fact that she had left that stupid thing open meant she either forgot or meant for him to come inside.
Sending his armor away, he picked up Daedalus' broken armor parts and the Subtank up and kept them inside the safe space he used, then flew towards the warp and entered it. -=- "Damn..." was all Lan could say, as he watched the state his older brother/uncle was. If Zekt hadn't rescued him at that moment... "He'd probably have exploded and died..." he summed up, as he began removing the broken armor parts. The damage was worse than it seemed. Several parts of the armor were sticking through his body, and removing them would not be easy at all. There was also the matter of the low energy - normally, it would be just a matter of refueling, but in this state, it could very well overflow and kill him as well! He sighed. He wasn't really meant to be a scientist or a surgeon. He just wanted to keep helping his brothers... Beeping a code to Dr. Leona, he hoped she would arrive soon. He'd need her help to even survive. | In the empty seat next to Slur, a caped creature with an odd looking mask sat down.
"Hello, same drink as usual?" "Yes please. And make it go." "One Maxi-Tomato Drink coming right up." The round creature looked towards Slur. "Hmm, I have never seen you around here before. What is your name, miss?" Slur drank the rest and ordered a second one. "My name is Slur..." "Slur? That is an odd name for a young woman such as you, no offence." "None taken." "My name is Meta Knight. I am one of the Star Warriors, along with Kirby." Slur looked towards him. "Where do you come from?" "I come from another part of the galaxy... I’m a cosmic traveler." This piped his interest. "Hmm, very interesting. You have met other species out in the universe?" "You could say that..." "Tell me Slur... how good are you when you do battle with an opponent?" "Well enough. I have alot of skills and abilities that I can use to figure out my opponent's weak points, plus I'm also a skilled swordsman when needed." The barkeep returned with the drinks, as Meta Knight took his bottle. "Her two drinks are on me." He placed extra money to pay for Slur, along with his and left. "That was nice of him. You must have been friends with him." "I guess so." "So, you travel the galaxy then huh?" "Of course. The universe is large, and there's many many different planets and species out there. Many are real frendly, like here." She finished her second drink then left the bar. |

| Zekt had just come across the gate, and began looking around. In a few moments, he found the woman he was searching for, and walked towards her, a fake pleasant grin in his face. "Hey! Can I talk to you?" he asked, in a calm tone. He wasn't going to do battle with her yet, despite the need... he just had to know a few things. | |||

| Of course, Meta Knight hang around, after he heard a mechanical-like being call out his new friend.
Slur was helping one of the Cappy's put some of his stuff in the car before she was called out, just as the Cappy guy drove off a minute later. Hmm.... another reploid? He must be that guy's friend's I just beatened... She just took a bite out of a Manimum Tomato, which the magical proerties rejuvinated her strength. She didn't show any reaction, but this is a public area, as he can't just go blasting away without hurting the other civilans. After she swallowed her bite, she gave him a warm smile. "Yes? Can I help you, sir?" Hidden in the distance, Meta Knight was keeping his eye on Zekt. I hope this isn't another one of Dedede's monster baddies. |

| He kept the pleasant smile, but if she looked in his eyes, she might have noticed they were... less than nice. "Oh, I was just wanting to talk to you about a discussion you had with my brother a while ago. You see, mostly I'm curious as to who you are, since he didn't want to tell me, and why you guys were arguing so much," he told her, although he really meant 'Why did you nearly kill him?!' with that last comment.
Of the corner of his eyes, he noticed the odd creature, and wondered just what it was. It certainly looked menacing, but Zekt didn't doubt he could beat it too. Of course, he couldn't really fight without his armors; the main point of him coming here like this was because he was NOT going to fight her. |

| Of course, being able ot perfectly maks her emotions, she only replid to his questions. "Well... your "brother" was nothing to me in strength terms anyway, no offence. But from the start I knew I was going to beat him, since it seemed one of my fire based abilities did a bit more dmaage than normal."
Then seeing Meta Knight's cape, her personality went a complete 180. "Hey Meta Knight," she called out to the caped Star Warrior. Crap! Can't believe she did that... She ran up to him who was behind a nearby palm tree next to the bar, and gave him a smile. Meta was wondering about her until he somewhat noticed, and decided to just play along. He could always ask her later once the man was gone "Hey Meta Knight, so... what are you doing here?" "Err, just wanting to travel from Cappy Town for awhile." "Ohh... how's the goofball Kirby?" "Still the same fun loving goofball," he said with a light chuckle. "You're not worried about the King trying another tactic at getting rid of Kirby?" "Kirby can hold his own in battle, though you may be right. So, who's your boyfriend?" Slur immediatly blushed. Why the hell did you say that... >.< "He's not my boyfriend, Meta. In fact he just came up to me after grabbing my attention..." The caped Star Warrior held his hand around his sword just incase. "I appologize Slur... so, who are you, good sir? | Zekt would have told her off with one of his normally more caustic comments, but he didn't really feel like having to fight against her in only his naked skin... especially since she was probably more trouble than it was worth. 'Just wait until Marduk is done...' he told himself, smirking mentally.
He didn't quite understand the reason why they were doing all that conversation (which sounded a bit... off), but shrugged it off... until he was addressed by that 'Meta Knight' person. 'So, he could detect it? I thought my body kept it blocked for the most part... although he confused the terms, as usual. How annoying.' "Oh, I have a few names by which to call myself... although I don't try to attract much attention to them, so... 'stranger' might fit you, since you are one to me as well..." he said, pausing for a second before continuing, "...and I have no interest in knowing more about you at the current rate. "As for my 'evil aura', as you put it... I believe you are mistaken. I have no evil aura, as I am not evil... unless you consider someone who is capable of using any element evil." He grinned, although it might have looked a bit too creepy. He then turned towards Slur again. "As for you... I understand that you might have whichever reasons for dealing with my brother as you did, but I noticed he got, well... a bit too nervous from one of your comments. Mind telling me? I don't think I will be able to have an answer from him any soon..." |

| Meta Knight looked miffed, but no one couldn't tell because of his mask, so only his yellow beady eyes could be seen. He still had his hand on his sword's handle, because Zekt's grin was something out of spite.
"King Dedede released a mechanical monster, but as usual Kirby defeated it. I can tell cause your body is mechanical like, same for the monster that was destroyed last week. So Slur, what is he talking about prior to his question?" He asked his friend. "Oh... guess I forgot to tell ya. I came here after I recently finished a battle with an opponent. All I'm guessing is he may be my ex opponent's friend or something." She then faced him. "To answer your questions... your brother thought I had no honor when I mentioned about gaining these abilities of mine. Of course, I corrected him, then he got angry cause of a past I may have reminded him of..." "So, this battle was a friendly spar gone out of control Slur?" Meta Knight questioned. She looked down at the small caped Star Warrior. "You could say that. Though when I met him, I immediatly knew I could beat him, but destroy him is something I didn't want to do since he had a life to live, which is why I'm here at Float Islands." "I see... and do not forget, sir... this is a public area, and if you can keep whatever weapons concealed, then please do so. There are civilians here..." Meta Knight is always polite when speaking, though he also meant it as a demand. |

| Zekt cocked his head to the side, amused. "Oh? So you already noticed I'm not a really 'living' being, as most? Well, I just hope you do notice that I'm quite human, like her, and human enough to, you know, live."
He then shook a finger, his eyes closed. "Technically, since my mother is the same as his, that means we are brothers." Then, he opened his eyes, slowly, as his finger was lowered. "And honor... I see. I guess you just, I suppose, gained them for no reason?" he asked, although it was more vicious than normal. "And for someone who didn't want to bring destruction, you clearly didn't hesitate about burying him underneath a lot of ice." He shrugged, then. "You women are all the same, there... always going overboard. I mean, first that weird female clone who set everything on fire, then there's you who nearly killed him - for real, mind you." His voice was slightly calmer, but she could see he was angry, still. "Oh well. At least I'm not likely to be proved wrong..." he finished, before turning towards Meta Knight. "As for your comment, I do know there are people here who are too weak to handle a good fight. Wouldn't be too good to stop just because some authorities came over and told us to stop..." he said, almost longing, but his grin was more hysterical than actually serious. "But eh..." he shrugged, before turning towards Slur again. "No hard feelings?" he asked, offering his hand. |

| She didn't take his hand. "Yeah... whatever. I know my attacks seemed out of hand, but hey, can't complain if that's how strong they are..."
"And sir, I am proper authorities... if you decided to go raging out on my friend here, after all... I am a Star Warrior." Since most of the people here have gotten interested in one of the volleyball tournaments far from them, she looked around then opened a Cosmic Warp, which led directly towards where Zekt came from. In fact, once looking inside, it led directly to where his brother was being repaired. "If your finished interrogating me, then you can go, and let me enjoy my week vacation. Once you walk through, it'll close behind you. That Sub Tank that I'm sure you have found was supposed to be for your brother to heal his injuries." She then smiled at Meta, "I'll chat with you later Meta Knight. Bye." She then walked off, heading towards the volleyball tounament. "Just hope they have some spaces left..." Meta Knight took his hand off the handle of his sword, and glanced up at Zekt. "I must get going myself and head back towards Cappy Town. Hopefully King Dedede isnt plotting to get rid of Kirby again. Good day, sir." A giant yellow star -- known as a Warp Star -- flew through the air before it swooped down. | Zekt just shrugged, clearly annoyed at how the odd thing acted, and just pulled back his hand. "Fine... by the way, I wouldn't recommend you trust her only by her appearance..." he said simply, before turning towards the warp. "I mean, a computer program, of all things?" he muttered, clearly loud enough for her to hear, and just stepped inside.
A second before the portal was closed, the Sub Tank flew straight at her. -=- DEFEAT... Daedalus - 0 Slur - 1 |
