| "Gah... are you done already, Lan?" a very grumpy Zekt asked his brother for the tenth thousandth time. He was still in his normal, armorless state, as the repairs for his old armors were still being made.
"No, Zekt. Me and Mom still haven't finished putting up the last parts for your armor. If you want to fight, you're gonna have to wait for us to finish, just like we told you the last times you asked." His voice wasn't irritated, but it was in that tone that indicated that, if he asked again, he'd probably get a defibrillator to his head. Daedalus just sighed. The two had been like that ever since Zekt had found out from his creator that he was supposed to be staying at the base for a longer time than usual, since she was getting tired of his going around and fighting Reploids that were capable of turning him into metallic bits in an instant. Suffice to say, that had made the young brash Reploid... edgy. "Oh darn it... hey, Daedalus!" He raised his head, and turned towards an expecting Zekt. "Would you mind going down there and seeing if there's anything interesting going on? Since I'm not gonna be doing it for a while, it'd be an equivalent." Daedalus stared back at Zekt, wondering just what the Reploid had in his mind. Still, it was a way to get out of this routine, and besides, it wasn't as if he couldn't find something more interesting than beating someone else up. "Okay, I suppose..." he replied, only to hear a smiling Zekt begin to thank him a lot and push him towards the Teleporter. "Oh, by the way... if you fight someone, please don't kill them. I want to do that," he added, grinning wickedly. Daedalus just sighed again. "I can't promise anything, you know, Survival and all... but if they don't try to actively kill me like that crazy female you fought last time, I guess I can try to spare them." And, with that, he was off to the same dimension where he and Zekt had fought that oddly-familiar Reploid... |

| Another weird day... Forte running off like crazy, a hair braided Zero chasing after the Black Shadow while trying to slash him with his Z-Saber, and David and Alia still racking their brains.
"Damn professors and their curse of long-paged homework," David swore to himself. "I agree... Profs are evil," she said. * * * "Full House." "Damn, all I have is Four of a Kind." "And I have a Straight Flush." The two Navis groaned as their card playing friend Spider racks up his winnings again. "You won that large cash prize from the RCGP (Ride Chaser Grand Prix) last week... you need more cash?" ForteZero asked. Marino was just glaring daggers at the purple haired Navi. * * * "It's too boring," said a female Forte look-a-like. Sonance sat down on her throne chair twirling her index finger along the rim of an empty cyber wine glass. "You told me not to go attack them," Shadow said, "and now you're bitching about being bored?" "We can't do much since the Seven Sins are about to reveal themselves in later time... we have to keep a low profile as to not grab their attention. Haven't you heard about the serial killer who's hacked up dozens of Officials and Net Saviors without drawing an ounce of blood?" "Bullshit. How can you slice up someone without spilling blood? It's virtually impossible!" "I know Shadow, but believe me, it's true." She opened up a image file and showed it to Shadow. The viral Darkloid felt like he was gonna hurl if it was possible. In the image was a 37 year old male, his body completely hacked up, sliced, diced, and shredded up, the eyes missing from their sockets, fingernails and toenails missing, all his teeth from his mouth removed and placed in a jar lying next to the body, and the date as which the photo was taken was last month. There was no blood spilled, and his clothes we're dress slacks and a black coat and shirt. They we're found next to the body folded up, and they we're in perfect condition, no fingerprints found, or any dust or blood left by the serial killer. "That's fucking disgusting!" Shadow exclaimed. Sonance waved her hand, and the image vanished from her view, and she resumed twirling her index finger along the rim of the wine bottle. * * * Slur; the extraterrestrial NetNavi, was at a beautiful garden. It was the same one where Sonance and Zekt had battled. Of course, there was also a stone marble pool filled with crystal clear water that sparkled in the sunlight that shined today. She was here to get away from everything. She's been here for about a month, and she has a little home where she lived for the time being, atleast until she felt like returning. She may be made of data, but she is really a alien human. Right now though, she was near the edge of the pool in a sexy revealing two piece, two-toned light green and white colored bikini. Her hair was let free and flowed down passing her shoulders. She had a smile on her face as she was enjoying her leisurely sun bath, eyes closed. "If only I could stay here... but there's a new evil showing itself. Much bigger threat than Sonance or Shadow. A new evil that represents the earth human's seven sins... I just hope they’ll be able to face them soon enough." |

| "Hn... nothing new here, either. I don't see why Zekt was so worried..." Daedalus muttered to himself, as he walked through a mass of people. "This city is boring. I wouldn't be surprised if that 'Sonance' woman just didn't want to destroy it just because she thinks it's too regular, either." As much as he hated to think it, the sheer fact that he had been prepared to battle was making him edgy. It wasn't that he was as bloodthirsty as his other relatives, it was just... as a battle Reploid, he still had the want for a good fight as much as others.
Still, he was rational enough to not let it take him - the only thing he wanted was having to fight Zekt and those eight freaks... 'Your relatives, don't forget it,' he had to tell himself, smirking. As weird as they were, they were still family... and you didn't just drop your family at once. He was so distracted by his thoughts that he didn't realize where his path was leading to... so, when he raised his head again, he was staring straight at an odd-looking female sunbathing. A pretty odd-looking female sunbathing. He stopped in his tracks, staring at her, without realizing just how... not him that attitude was. |

| Yup, very pretty... the way she was, wouldn't be surprised when most guys break out in nosebleeds just oogling her body like that.
Of course, Slur seemed to sense someone, as she opened one eye, her magneta colored eye scanning the area. "Who's out there..." she muttered to herself. Slowly getting up and standing, she stretched out her tired muscles before she glowed, and reappeared in her Navi armor. "..." She conjured up two wires from her sleeves, and stood ready, "Who's out there?" Then without warning, the new-comer would have to be quick on his heels if he's to avoid the many think cable like wires that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. And of course, this attack is coming out of self-defense. |

| His automatic reaction happening in a blink, Daedalus barely noticed the fact that he had jumped at least the (not short) distance between her and him to his right, before he skidded to a halt. "Whoa! Careful with those!" he replied, noticing the different outfit she had now. "I'm sorry for having stopped like that, I was just surprised."

| She seemed to reguard him, but she still kept herself in a position to dodge any surprise attacks. "My name is Slur. I could sense you... staring at me while I was... sunbathing."
She shifted position for a bit. "Tell me if I'm correct when I say that you're a highly advanced reploid from another dimension..." She flashed him an innocent yet devilish smile. |

| "It was an accident... I was just walking around, thinking, and didn't realize where I was walking. I apologize." Her position was intriguing him, although he didn't show it. The fact that she was powerful enough to do... that was curious, but unlike Zekt, he didn't want to enter battle with her yet...
Of course, her second comment was even more distressing. Did she know something? "I wouldn't say I am 'highly advanced', miss..." he paused, unsure of how to continue, but decided to ignore that part, "but I do know that there seems to be enough of an interest in such reploids in the moment. If you'd tell me why you wanted to know..." |

Since Duo wished for me to live on my own and fulfill my life, I have done so."
Her metamorphic wiring seemed to receed back into her sleeves. She reached to the table near her, picked up a tall glass of fruit punch and took a long sip from it. |

| She blinked, hearing the doubt in his voice as she set her glass down. "The Duo I know is alot different from the one you may have heard." She opened her hand as swirling balls of light formed and floated into the air like sparks from a burning camp fire.
Soon a image formed, then revealed itself. This was the image of Master Duo, the Ultimate Judge of Light. |

| And doomed himself he did. She twitched a bit. "You dare disrespect the Judge of Light?"
The holographic image faded as her metamorphic wires returned, transformed into two long golden lightsabers. "Hmph, I guess you doubt my abilities, I guess..." A cosmic warp appeared behind her, and expanded. Daedalus can see behind her, which was a vast grassy meadow blooming with spingtime flowers, with the same sunny atmosphere. There was also a crystal clear lake seen in the background. "If you want to do battle with me, then follow me." She smiled before she leapt back and into the cosmic warp, "I don't want my home destroyed by the likes of you." |

| Once he made it through, the cosmic warp behind him vanished, and he could definately get a better view of the battlefield. Like he's seen earlie,r it was a meadowy field with bloomed flowers, the large crystal lake, and a few bonsai trees the side of houses, one seeminly growing from a small little island in the middle of the lake.
And a few feet from him was the alien NetNavi. Slur is surrounded by a bright light, as most of her armor melts away. Before long she is standing in a two-toned one peice swimsuit. The right portion was a teal blue, the left portion a manilla yellow, with a oval shaped cut in the swimsuit that exposed her slim toned stomach. Blue gloves reaching up to her elbows with a gold ring at the end, attached with a blue and gold lining shark fin. The the top was blue, the bottom was pale yellow. Her helmet remains the same, though a sleek back shark fin protrudes from the front lined with gold, and her hair fully flows out the back of her helmet. And she wore knee high slim boots over her legs; the right boot teal blue, the left boot manilla yellow. She had transformed into her Shark Soul form. |

| Daedalus was surprised, when he saw the new armor she put on. It wasn't that it was attractive, no (at least, not in the sense of that being why he was surprised... it was more because that had to be the dumbest choice for protection one could choose.
"So... is there a point for you dressing like you want perverts to stare at you while fighting, or did you just want me to take pictures and publish them on the net?" he said, and then felt like slapping his own mouth. 'Damn it, Zekt is rubbing off on me...' he told himself, wondering just what he had gotten himself in.... -=- "Huh?" Lan blinked, as he watched the radar screen. Zekt walked towards him, and looked over his shoulder. "What's the problem, Lan?" he asked, and the brown haired boy-looking Reploid made a motion towards it. "It's Daedalus. I lost all contact with him - head, driver, communicator..." he shook his head. "It's like he disappeared from the universe!" Zekt thought about it, then nodded. "Maybe he did. Can you track him?" Lan shrugged. "I guess so. Would take me a few, though, since I don't even know where to look," he explained, before turning back towards the screen. He then seemed to remember something. "Oh, yeah... some big sort of energy focus was detected in the area where you and that Sonance person fought. I guess it might be related to it." Zekt felt like cursing, now. He had to get there, but he couldn't get anywhere safely without his armor on! That sucked so much!!! |

| "Not in the least." She backflipped a few times before landing on her feet, close ot the edge of the lake.
"My Shark Soul Unison grants me better speed." The fin on her right glove started to glow, "Fin Cutter!" She released three shark fins that we're made of energy as they collided with the ground and shot forward at amazing speed, towards Daedalus. By the time he would have countered the attack, she had already dove head-first into the lake. The lake itself is very deep, how deep it actually is... now that's the problem, cause no one knows. |

| "Fine, whatever... I don't get it anyway," he replied, and then entered a battle position once the fin began glowing.
As soon as she had released the fins, he shot three Metal Blades as well, although the speed was nothing akin... which meant they'd miss. However, the same was for her own attack; as Daedalus was already on pursuit, and merely jumped over the fins, stopping once he noticed she wasn't on land anymore. 'So that's why she did it... I'm not too good with water, either... gah, let's just hope these work...' he thought, before blinking, and firing a few blades on the water, but these were flaming red. After a few seconds, if they hadn't reached anything, they'd explode noisily. And the heat would probably distract her, anyway. If anything, he'd force her to attack, which would betray her position. |

| Her view was rapidly vanishing into the darkness of the deep lake... swimming as fast as a shark would. Once she was protected well enough, those attacms went off, but since she had sharklike abilities, they we're like heat signatures.... though being smarter, she remained hidden and fired several energy starfish like shurikens.
They flew straight out of the water into the air before quickly flying down like deadly blades. She launched three waves consisting of twelve starfish. |

| Daedalus suppressed a groan, as he saw the starfish shurikens... and guessed he was gonna have to fight underwater. Joy. At least he wasn't going to be as immobile as other Reploids...
He jumped away, firing normal Metal Blades in reaction, and waited until she was done. Then, he pulled back his other hand, and waited for a few seconds, before a sword handle was partially ejected... and when he pulled it, a full blown sword with toothed edges, about the size of his forearm, was brought into sight, a partial yellow glow around it. Once he was sure it was safe, he jumped into the water, dashing once he was inside, waiting... |

| She smiled. He took the bait. Since she is an aqua element, she could manipulate the water around her, and also try out a new ability she could use with that fin on her right glove.
And first, she concentrated and slowly created a whirlpool that started to have an effect in her underwater enviroment. Then, she created more Saniigo starfish, but launched them in a slow pace and allowed them get caught in the current, just to add more of that danger factor. Once I suck him down to the floor of the lake I'll make my escape then attack with one of my lightning techniques once I revert back to my normal self. * * * Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, at Maverick Hunter HQ David, Alia, Marino, Markus, and Kristi we're in the Research and Development lab, working on upgrading the Command and Sakamoto Armors. The four humans and NetNavi ‘roid we're busy testing out new systems that could be utilized into the Command Armor and the Sakamoto Armor. "The energy stabilizers can be outputted to allow more powerful buster attacks," Markus stated as Kristi had finished fixing some chips in the buster cannons. "With these tinges of power boost we could deal in more damage to our foes. But still... they always find a way to get stronger," said David. Then before Alia could speak out her thoughts, the doors burst out and clattered to the floor with a loud clang. "I'M GOING TO WRING THAT SON OF A BASTARD'S NECK!" The gang who wore lab coats all looked up to see the doors forced out. Needless to say that everybody gaped with opens mouths at the figure who had just entered the R&D Lab, swearing almost as much as most scientists themselves that work at the Science Labs. Zero darkly glared at each of his employees before he stormed off, shouting more curses and literally making dents in the walls, leaving behind trails of cream on the carpet floor. When Zero was in one of his moods, they always keep their mouths shut, and no matter what, never laugh when in the presence of an pissed off Zero. "Whoa, Zero did this?" ForteZero asked as he walked in about three minutes later. He picked up the destroyed door without much difficulty, and set it against the wall for repairs. "What happened?" "Ohh, Forte. Food fight in the cafeteria, cheesecake down shirts, not to mention food flung in all directions..." ForteZero pulled off his shirt and crumbs from a cheesecake fell to the ground, "he also sprayed whipped cream in Zero's hair, topped it off with a cherry, laughed manically and bolted off." "That must have been a hell of a lot of cream to cover Zero's hair like that," Kristi stated as she blinked while remembering the sight. The White Shadow chuckled a bit. "Well, amazingly he didn't go berserk and try to kill Forte. Only his ego was hurt, I think." ForteZero then ran off to console his friend. He's taken on the task to calm down Zero. "Sheesh, glad we weren't there," Markus said after breaking the five minute silence. Then they went back to work.
