Wow, the thought of someone spending money on a PSP only to utterly destroy it is...wow...if it was bricked or something (the screen looks cracked before the destruction starts, but that might be because of his previous efforts), it'd be all right. If not...wow.

Although the awesome music more than makes up for those concerns. A+++++ would watch again.

It's the rite of passage for video game consoles/portables; they must be demolished publically for the world to see several times during their lifespan.

BTW: The song is called "Consumo Gusto" by SKA-P.

EDIT: Also, for those who don't know Spanish. The song sings against consumerism and materialism. Very appropriate.

EDIT 2: As an example. The name of the song, Consumo Gusto is literally translated as "Consumption Pleasure". Although I think a more appropriate and correct translation of the meaning of the song as a whole would be "Consumer Lust". It's all about how people pay and pay and pay for tons and tons of shit that nobody needs.

I was only amused when the dude was chasing the PSP and then just smacked it. Nifty music though.

This is the third PSP destruction video I've seen since it's Japanese release. First in spanish though.

edit: I honestly doubt those guys actually bought the PSP. If they hate it enough to post a video like this, they may have stolen it.

It's funny how some people got pissed of fwith fanboyism. I would care less if someone bought a console and smashed it to bits.

Wasn't there some guys who were going to destroy a X-box 360 on it's launch date?

Yeah, the only funny part was when the guy was chasing it, because when he got it, he was all like "UH motherfucker!".
And I'm not fanboy of nothing, but the rest of the movie wasn't really good. And I don't see the point of spending all that money just to destroy it. But that doesn't mean that other people can't do that.

Did it ever occur to anyone that despite the fact it LOOKED new, I may not have been new? Just because he had the packaging doesn't mean he didn't buy a beat to shit used one from someone. Considering there was no plastic wrap on anything, it almost certainly was acquired used. Think about it seriously, it's a bit more probable than stealing a brand new PSP.

I've seen cases like this (smashmy[insert product here].com) where people just donate a buck or two, and they use the donated money to buy the device, then put the smashing videos up.

The DS and the micro needed to die a long time ago. There's no point on using the big DS if the smaller, sexier, and all-out better DS lite came out. The micro was just , Nintendo had already released the SP there was no point on releasing the same hardware only modified to be smaller. Good thing the Micro got burnt; the gas thing was just genious !

I'm not so sure about the DS Lite yet. Are the buttons even smaller than the regular DS? Because the regular DS buttons are pretty damn small as it is. Also, I've been hearing reports that the DS Lite's casing is prone to cracking, espically around the hinge area. Any information on this?
