I've never taken an IQ test before.

I took that a month or so ago. It gave me a 129. In 3rd grade I took an IQ test at school and my IQ was 128, so I guess I got smarter  |

| According to this website, my IQ is 133. I've taken similar tests and usually get in the 130-150 range. I'm not sure what a perfect score would result in from this website, but I'm willing to bet it usually spits out scores in the 110-130 range. (So that idiots can feel smart too and will maybe subscribe to their services)

I took a REAL IQ test when I was in 5th grade. I forget my actual IQ score, but I was told I was "two standard deviations above normal." Obviously, I had no clue what the fuck that meant at the time. (Now I know it means top 5 percentile.) I'm sorta curious if I'd get the same score if I took an actual test today. In case you haven't guessed, this site isn't exactly accurate. There a lot of knowledge-based questions. I don't know how random it is, but I got one comparing fruits to other fruits and asking me to pick out the different one, and I had to guess because I had no clue what the fuck an apricot is.
Real IQ tests try to stay away from booksmarts type knowledge and instead measure the ability of a person to use logic to find patterns and make conclusions about a system. | Heh, Ailure complained about the same thing. He swears that a real IQ test is supposed to have more pattern tests and none of thoose damned tests that requires you to actually know thoose quotes. That's not testing IQ, that's testing memory, which is a bit of a diffrent thing. | |||

Ages back, I took an actual test and scored 145. I wonder what I would get now.

The credibility is completely washed out by all the commercial crap you have to go through to get the results. I should have gotten the question with the squares of whole numbers. I knew there was a pattern there but I just got fed up and continued. |

| According to the military I'm in the top 5-7%. According to online tests I'm in the top 2%, according to standardized school tests I'm in the top 1-4% in logic based, and 35-60% in more creative things . So uh, I guess it's somewhere around 145-155. |
