| Hello. My name is Tatrion, and I wish to apply to be an approved ROM hacking member of Acmlm's Board. I'll have been with the ROM hacking scene here for a full year five days from now, so I'm completely aware of all the guidelines required for respect in those forums. During the time when approval wasn't required, I also tended to stay out of topics where there was just "noob bashing" going on, unless I had something valid to comment on. Which never happened, so I never did.
In terms of my contributions to ROM hacking previously, they are few, but they exist. The only thing I've contributed programming-wise is a few offsets I found relating to Big Boo. I was also a beta tester in the game Panic in the Mushroom Kingdom (If I recall correctly, my name is in the credits under beta testers for verification). My hack, entitled National Mario's Vacation, is not one of the top-tier hacks, and I've used (and credited) many ASM hacks and graphics made by others. Overall, I feel as if I deserve to be a member of the ROM Hacking community because I want to keep doing minor contributions, and to have a place to show off my hack once it is in a presentable state so other valued members of the community can critique on it in a fair way. |
