Is that all you do? Flame the mere subject of level editors? If you're complaining about no hacks for these games, then why don't you MAKE ONE YOURSELF? Seriously! Why did you sign up to flame VL-Tone's editor and these other ones too? Sheesh!

The YI editor is not hard to use...if you can't use it, you're either not trying hard enough or you're an idiot Mario Kart is a bit more advanced, since you need to do AI hacking. Either way....suck it up and use what you have.

Eggvine takes a bit of work, but if you just try hard enough you should get it. The only editor I can think of that practically screams at you on the topic of how to use it is Lunar Magic. Most other editors, like hacking the game itself, require time, effort and trial/error. And I mean no offense, if you can't put these things into hacking, you're probably not made for anything more than SMW hacking, and even making a good one of those takes quite some time.

No games are getting shunned. There aren't hacks of some games because they either (A.) Aren't that popular, or hackers don't really find them interesting or (B.) Are very difficult to hack. If you want to be a pioneer, start hacking those games that you want done yourself, and through your work those games could become more hacked over time.

Probably because of lack of interest. That's the only thing that's stopping people these days.

"I'd kiss your feet if you made an editor for (n) game."

The people with programming knowledge is what controls what hacks for what games come out. ActRaiser is an awesome game. Why no editor? I don't know, nobody wants to spend the time finding the data on it I guess.

The best thing you can do if you find yourself asking this question is to do something about it and learn some programming. Make some editors for some underappreciated games like ActRaiser and RC Pro-Am.

It all (primarily) comes down to interest. If you have enough interest, you'd learn how to program and build an editor. Interest is a serious motivator to overcome mental obstacles with learning such a talent. That's what ROM hacking is.

Okay, I am sorry for flaming Deviant. It just makes me mad when people start calling things like this nerdy, or making it seem like we do all this work just so no one will like it. That's what Deviant said. I just got a little angry.
