Kirbynite: Hunh... Oh! Yeah! Right! C'mon! We need to get across the broken bridge.... Hum..

The Dreamlander looked around and notice the massive amount of Offline Trances.

Kirbynite: ... Do I have to inhale everyone and shoot them all across?

Ka'ae: .....

A voice rang out from one of the cliffs surrounding the group

Sky: I really don't think they would appreciate that. I know I wouldn't. There's probably a better way.

Sky dodged Gutsman's hastily thrown shuriken with a lazy lean to the side. It seemed everyone else, while somewhat shocked by his sudden appearance, figured that anyone announcing their presence wasn't a ninja. Particularly anyone dressed in the red garb of this particular warrior. His cape flowed around him as he lept from the cliff and landed deftly on the earth below. For someone who had just announced himself, it was remarkably quiet. Brushing the dust aside, he approached Kirbynite.

Sky: Isn't Chatau Romani the other way?

Kirbynite: You! It's... It's...

The Dreamlander blinked for a moment.

Kirbynite: Um... Who are you again?

JDavis: *dispells the energy sword* It's Sky, Kirb. Anyway, Guts and I won't have any trouble jumping that gap.

Sky: Kirb, we've battled Dani *sigh* multiple times, fought Lavos in several circumstances, taken on hordes of the underworld before going to a chocolate factory, fought giant robots in mechs of our own design, probably disrupted the space-time continuum six ways from Sunday, met our future offspring, saved Hyrule more than once, and who knows how many other strange things. And you don't remember a guy who's been with you through all that?

Sky takes a running leap and makes it to the other side effortlessly. A Garo sneaking up on him as he turns to face the others quickly finds a blade through its shawl and turns to nothing once more. No more appear willing to fight the warrior at the moment.

Sky: Come on, it's great over here!

JDavis: Well, Sky, we all seem to be having some memory problems since we arrived in this dimension... Though I'm not sure why. *jumps the gap, using his air shoes to propel himself part of the way* And Kirb seems more affected than the rest of us. Your turn, Guts.

As the camera turned to Guts, he was once again in his human form.

Guts: *runs* Alley-oop!

Guts barely makes the jump, and almost falls backwards into the gorge, but quickly regains his balance after a small amount of arm-flailing.

Guts: Even my databanks were affected.

Kalar leapt the gap with ease and shook Sky's hand. It was very cold.

Kalar: "Hi, I don't know you. In another universe I probably still wouldn't. I've been playing Groundhog Day with this world for about three months now, and these guys came by and finally did something worth mentioning about a day and a half ago. My name's Kalar, I like alienating people and occasionally snapping the necks of ninjas. Don't mind my clothing, it's perfectly drafty."

He fingered a frayed hole in the pinstripes and shook his head a few times. It looked like he hadn't slept for weeks. Those same tired eyes lifted to the sky before anyone else could waste the group's time with introductions.

"I'm guessing you've also probably gotten used to that thing. Hope you brought a time machine or something. Check it out."

He pointed up through the clouds at the really, really creepy looking demonic moon that was threatening to flatten the world in a few short hours. It grinned and edged a bit closer.

"Since this is the 13th time I've done this, and you haven't appeared in the other 12, I'm guessing you're here for a reason, so let's continue onward and we'll explain whatever it is they need to tell you about on the way."

Kalar was hastier than usual, and continued dragging his compatriots towards the cliffs.

"You might not wanna forget Melvin, either..."

Sky: Don't put too much stock in fate. I like to live my life by that credo. I'm here for a reason, all right, but that reason is more just a love for getting things done and less likely to be indicative of some grand plan. I do like your style, though. Can't blame you for the worry, with that creepy moon. My one question, though, is why we can't just go back in time a bit further so we have more than 3 days to work with things. Anyway, A more pleasant way of getting Melvin to the other side is thus...remind me if I forget anyone else.

Sky points his hand over at Melvin, who seems rather disoriented as he lifts up off the ground and makes his way over to the side of the cliff the heroes are congregating on. Sky claps him on the back as someone who hasn't seen an old friend - of sorts - in years might do.

Sky: Anyway, Kalar, good to meet you, and I hope we can do something about that moon. And whatever other billion problems always seem to find their way my way.

Kalar: "How'd you know I've been going back in time for three days? That's the limitation on my own personal ability to shift, in any case. These guys, I've got no clue, the pink one just blew his horn one day and suddenly bam, we were back where they started and I got scared. I think it's got something to do with where they entered the universe. I certainly don't remember them, anyway."

He prods Melvin.

"He don't say too much."

Kirbynite: Yeah.. Mel's OT'd to the point where he seems like he's missing a soul.. And.. I still can't remember you, Sky... This world that we're in.. I'm supposed to know it. But..

The Dreamlander turns and and leaps across the gap himself.

Kirbynite: I can't remember it. Just like the beautiful blue woman I saw when the world ended.. Well, saw her twice... Anyway... Romani! This little girl from a ranch around here.. She was kidnapped by aliens, and they headed in this direction!

Edit: Eh heh.. there, fixed ;;

((Uh, Kirb, I had already transported Melvin & Co. across, but whatever, minor detail))

Sky cocks an eyebrow.

"Aliens? Are you sure they were aliens? I've seen some extraterrestrials before, so I'm not doubting their existence...I've even fought some with you, but I won't press that point. Kidnapping a farmgirl hardly seems like the kind of thing they would do, though. I'm guessing they're just trying to get to you. It's probably a trap."

Kirbynite: They were trying to steal the cows in the farm, but Romani stayed in the barn to try and fend them off from close range....

He let out a sigh.

Kirbynite: Darnit! How could I have not noticed the one that crept around the back!

He sighed once more and looked around. There was an old house up the hill. Behind the house were a bunch of caves.

Kirbynite: Maybe they've got a hideout in those caves...

Sky: Aliens...who came to this planet to steal cows. I would say that's strange, but there's a moon with a very mean face on it coming ever closer, so I suppose I can live with cow-stealing aliens. As for getting in the house, we can do it the easy way *mimes knocking on a door* or the hard way *puts hand on sword hilt*...anybody want to make a choice regarding which to do?

Sky: What is it with circling baddies around here? Anyway, if I've learned anything from bad movies, which I may or may not have, most undead things don't like fire. So all of you who can make your weaponry burn, prepare to do so. If you can't...well, I can flamesaber a few others for a bit.

With this, Sky unsheathes his sword. A magnificent broadsword, hardly the weapon of a mage, it shows that Sky's more a warrior than a magician. A buckler unfolds from around the magewarrior's left arm as he holds the now slightly glowing sword in his right hand and prepares to strike.

JDavis: You'll have to set them on fire twice. The first time will just convert them into redeads.
