The Decompressor is used to decompress things. The Recompressor is used to recompress things.

No, it's used to decompress or recompress graphics from a game, if you know the compression format of it. There is a readme also, you know... _¬

Lunar Decompress is a DLL module that is used with programs, it contains data for compression formats of many different games, if anyone feels like making a program to hack SMW, like blocktool. (Im pretty sure Lunar Compress comes with BlockTool, but I'm not sure)

Lunar Compress has absolutely nothing to do with ASM hacking, NOTHING. There is a sticky about ASM hacking..
