Nothing has changed but the copycat spirits to be gone. But I never ever had a good look at this room... Hmm I wonder if I missed anything. Also I hope the second floor has food because I am starting to feel hungry... and I can't eat the old bread because of the mold on it.

You immediately head north into a room - that is flashing neon green! Lights on the wall are all around, and a giant computer stands in front of you. Is this a control center or something? As soon as you step in, the lights turn red and the computer screen flashes on. A mechanical voice buzzes through a nearby speaker.."REBOOTING....ANALYZING....CHECK COMPLETE. PLEASE INSERT DATA INTO CD-ROM NOW FOR FULL SCAN." A drive pops open underneath the monitor.

(((((DARKDATA)))))

You carefully examine the room. The four statues still remain intact from earlier. Nothing has really changed. On the south wall is a locked door - and a bit to the right of the door, the wall appeared poorly painted. Through the wall, you hear gurgles and water running - but no door. The table from earlier still sits in the middle, empty, as the bell from it is in your possession.

(((((CIRVANTE)))))

The elevator goes down...faster and faster...you are kneeling praying. All of a sudden, it comes to a crashing halt, and you fling upwards, smashing your head off of the ceiling. You feel very dazed, and may need to rest. The elevator door opens, and a voice crackles through the intercom. "Thank you for riding the Haunted Elevator. Please come again - if you dare!"

(((((RIKU)))))

You examine the battery carefully by picking it up and rolling it around in your hand. Awkwardly enough, instead of the usual + and - symbols on batteries to show the charge, all you see are two X's on either end. The battery itself is rather heavy, and does not look like it could be used to power something. It appears dead.

Just so you all know, I have been working on the second floor map. The next update will be this weekend, with all maps updated and ready to go. After that, updates will be a lot more common as I should have lots of free time on my hands.

So hang around a bit ... don't get too chilly in the mansion, it's almost night

Update zomg! Map 2 is finished, and looking mighty complicated. Only Cirvy will have use of it though, as the rest of you are still on floor 3 .. for now

The wind whistles, and the air picks up. In each of your walkie-talkies, you suddenly hear a strange crackling, and what appears to be a voice speaking to you. You cannot make out what it is though without pulling it out of your pocket.

It is now night. The passages on floor 2 have been altered.



------------------------------------------------

This would be a good time to explain some new things on the map.

Red and Green squares: Every 12 hours the colours on the floor 2 map will have their squares changed around. When it is red, "something" will be in the way, and not allow you to pass. When it is green, it is safe to pass.

Grey dotted lines: Not too tough to figure out, these lines may be a bit below or above the rooms they are put under. However, you cannot see them from the solid black outlined rooms

Coloured section of Northwest: ...?? This is a mysterious section indeed...mmhmm.

(((((RIKU)))))

You take the battery. Then you face north and attempt to walk forward, but crash into a wall. On the left of you is a passage, on the right of you is the revolving door. You now realize you are in the west passage.

(((((DARKDATA)))))

You walk over and begin to examine the miscolored wall. The only thing you notice is a brick on the left hand side of the miscolored part sticking out, with many awkward textures.

(((((CIRVANTE)))))

You topple out of the elevator, but instead of landing on stone, you land on a plank of outcropped nails which drill through your foot. You writhe in pain as you look around at this new room - which appears to be a torture chamber, filled with bodies and other various torture mechanisms. You feel a little tipsy

(((((FABIO)))))

You put the CD labeled "ARTIFACTS" into the CD-ROM. It pops closed, and a giant screen in front of you flickers a scene. The voice from the speakers speaks. "Throu..ou...mansio...man...treasur...li...Loo..sec..oor...nder...potions...access..." While you are unable to make out the words clearly, the picture on the screen shows a yellow tinted room with three slots in the ground, each big enough for a vial to fit in. The screen flickers off, and the CD pops out at you, completely cracked and stripped now.

@Riku: Also, I noticed you are trying to head north. As I said, you are currently in the west passage (you tried to head north and hit the wall ) The only way to get north is to take your chances at the revolving door again. State whether you want to do this next turn - I will skip your turn this time, and allow you to make two moves in your next post, as I may have misunderstood your latest move

You leave the computer room and reenter the previous hall. As soon as you do this, the wall behind you slams down, and the wall to your east opens once again. However, instead of it being a straight safe path as it was before, the floor and air towards the far east door is covered in a green mist.

(((((DARKDATA)))))

You walk over to the wall and examine the brick. It appears to be loose, and a bit farther out of the wall then the other bricks. It could be some kind of switch, but then, the results may be fairly unpredictable.

(((((CIRVANTE)))))

You open the yellow vial, and pour the contents down your throat. You feel a slight burning for a minute, but you swallow it all. In an instant, the wound on your hand heals over and you no longer feel hungry or dazed. You suddenly look down at the empty vial and get an eerie feeling about what you just did.

USEFUL INFO: If you ever have a question, I'm sure the evil mad scientist would be "glad" to answer it. You know he has access to your walkie-talkies
