| I really hate this.
ACMLM and some other Forums are the only ones that really don't care of your Operating System, and think that you're fine no matter who you are. Some are exceptions. I won't be giving out any names here to bring an outside dispute, but today I was on a IRC chat, discussing about my issues with Nestopia emulation. Someone said that I should get VirtuaNES, and said that it's much better. I responded that I doubt that there's a Mac OS X port of the program. At that minute, the whole chatroom went silenced. Until someone posted. "Macs Suck ass" What? No, really, he wasn't a noob or anything. A Grown man with operator powers and all, definitely an appropriate person. After a 20 minute conversation of how Macs suck, I just had to quit. I thought that it was very immature and childish, not that I'm saying that Macs are better. I know that Windows is popular and very easy to use, but that doesn't mean that Mac OS X is a hole of shit. Here you will see some of the quotes from people and my responds to them, even though I was right, they didn't seem to care. Macs always lag and get jammed. —Actually, Mac OS X gets notably less (If any) Viruses/Adware/Spyware than most other operating systems. Macs UI is ugly as shit. —This one can actually looked from both sides. I personally think that the Mac OS X Graphical User Interface is more good-looking than the Default Windows XP UI. Apple Products are named after something that they aren't. —"Mail". That's an e-mail application. Is that Misleading? Apple Harwares are ugly —They sure are. Those are just a few. The fact of the matter is WHY WOULD YOU CARE if you feel discrimated against due to your OS. Seriously. That is my point! Can you note the...ummm...what's a word that I can use to describe it? THREAT TITLE. That's it. I use a Mac, I've liked it a lot more than a PC. The GUI is better and the system in and of itself is more intuitive. There is a thriving independant development community. The construction of the computers is my issue. It takes some hard work to upgrade your computer without having to pay the ridiculous amounts that Apple wants. |

| You can change that. It isn't discrimination. If you don't like being made fun of because you're running NOPIX than don't use it. You have various options. It isn't discrimination - that can be left to things where people don't have choices (like race). | |||

| Nothing in general sucks. Macs might suck for certain people. A Mac would suck for me. Gaming is limited and most are too expensive for my tastes. The fewer viruses thing is nice, but it's really not that hard to prevent youself from getting viruses in windows.
To each his own. As long as you are happy, what difference does it make? |
