So lately, a few of us here have been chatting via the program Skype, and it's been fun times. Xkeeper, Grey, YD, and I hve all chatted, and KATW as well. I think it would be fun if we got a big group together...

Okay, does this cost anything? I´m not quite sure as I´ve read that it should be free AND that it costs money sometimes.

Btw, I´ve also heard that IP calls can be easily bugged but nevermind. I might try it. Could you tell us more details, Danielle?

I suppose I'll try it out with you guys. I've done the whole voice thing before, but my mike is really crappy quality...Need a new one.

EDIT: Jesus, their servers are fast...Finished the download in like 20 seconds...

It costs something to call a real phone, but its free to call another computer that has Skype.

And who cares if the calls are "bugged?" I doubt that's even true.

I'm just "ailure". At my apartment I have headset to use and my laptop's inbuilt mic is decent, as long i'm not playing music. :/

But remember, I hardly speak English so it might sound a bit robotic.

It seems I can also play guitar through this thing, although lacking a good tube mic preamp my tone will sound like shit.

Let me know if you have any requests, I guess... maybe.

Actually, they have a deal where it's free to call anywhere in the US or Canada until the end of the year.

The 5 minutes are for anywhere else.

Besides, how would they charge you?
