He can't show you any cause he is still looking for sprites. Thats what makes the game.

It's in the Perfect guide to zelda 3 editing.

...I agreee but by the way they are in the rom, you can't, because there is a limited range of offsets of where they can go so, ASM work is required if you want more sprites....

Unless you can explain WHY you need more sprites so critically, I fail to see your problem. Can't you just edit / rig the existing town people sprites to your own plot? I know the current system is limited but ... eh. Until Euclid, I, or someone else designs a nice dynamic way of expanding the number of sprites and/or editing the existing ones you're SOL.

By more sprites you just mean raw number of them, not the number of kinds, right?

As has been said, there really isn't much you can do to add them short of a bunch of messy assembly hacking. However, you don't really need more sprites to pull off the "flourishing village" effect you desire.

If you want your towns to seem more active, there are a number of things you can do. First up, make them smaller. With less area to cover, you can make the number of sprites visable at any time greater. Ways to make a town like Kakariko smaller would include making less buildings, decreasing the size of people's houses, putting more houses in a row before having a road between them, and getting rid of people's lawns.

Additionally, use sprites that used to be inside buildings outside. People don't stay in their houses all day, so it's reasonable that more of them would be empty. Locked, even -- then you don't even need to bother making an interior. Not all of town needs to be active, either. As long as it's not too blatent and there still are a few sprites in the quieter areas, the player will remember the whole town as being as busy as the first part they see.

It will also help if you make the people depicted with the sprites more active. Almost everyone in Kakariko is just standing around -- it's no wonder the place seems so sleepy. You'll need to fix that. And don't let the fact that the sprites are just programmed to stand there phaze you -- there are lots of things people do that amount to standing around. Put a few people next to the bottle salesman and have them talk about his wares. Crowd people around somebody's window in an angry mob. Block in a market stall with people (bonus -- you don't even need to have somebody selling something if sprites block your way there). Have somebody feed chickens. Be creative.

If you can manage to take up some tile/graphics space and whatnot, make a few people out of tiles instead of sprites. If they're behind something, especially other sprites, then they don't need to talk, and you can use tiles with nobody being the wiser. And if they're next to somebody talking about how they're mean/shy/mute, they still don't need to talk and you can pull the same trick again.

And for goodness sakes, change the music.

What I mean is that I need more people sprites, like wwomen, children etc. to make more villages, there are too few in A Link to the Past to satisfy what I need...

I would like to have about 4 or 5 gerudos.... thats the least I ask for, Ill bring in some screenshots tomorrow, I have so far done a forest, Sunken city, my own Kakriko and my own Village of Outcasts.

I saw someone who used the snowy trees from Four Sword Adventure, but I'll talk about those later

Do you mean an IPS patch? I'm not sure what you mean by code. But you don't even need to ask Orochimaru to lend you the tiles (although that method is undoubtadly simple). Just go into Four Swords with your favorite tile editor, find the sets for winter/summer trees, then move them over to LtTP. Palette adjustments probably needed also. And I don't know whether you would have to decompress anything or not to locate the tree tiles, but...

...

GC tools...

Oh, I guess that Orochimaru ripped those graphics from the Gamecube, si? Well then, asking for an IPS patch might be a helluva lot simpler.
