Trust me, I know emo. My ex best-friend (see, it comes up a lot) was pretty emo.

To be emo....

-Wear nothing but tight black pants and band shirts, preferably Slipknot or Misfits or something.

-As Vyper said, black hair, PITCH black hair is emo.

-Gages. Big ones. Nuff said.

If you want to seem emo, you have to get a weird bob haircut, talk in an odd high pitched voice, and say things like "I love going down to the schoolyard to watch all the little children jump up and down and scream...'cause they don't know I'm using blanks.".

It also helps to play a clumsy shop teacher.
