Well for my first post layout, I wanted something eyepleasing.

I apparently failed at that the first few times, scared to try white because of the brightness of the blue, but the blue was darker than I thought and Xkeeper's side of the story claimed it to be unreadable.

The back was started out as snow on a couple of black bars over gray, but after tiling and such, it looks like noise.

I like the outcome though. CSS doesn't scare me, but the CSS on these post layouts do, so a layout maker was heaven for me.

You should give yourself the same margins on both the bottom and top to make it more... symmetrical.

I know your layout looks normal on smaller screens, but it just looks like an awful lot of wasted space on widescreen displays. This isn't necessarily bad, but it just looks kind of funny. But at least you fixed the text spilling out of the box (I think).

Eeeehhhh...?

I'm on a resolution of 1024 x 768, and it looks fine and dandy to me.
Perhaps you could provide a screenshot?
EDIT: MOSES ALMIGHTY quotes look horrible.

Oh... I get it. Your text box only becomes as wide as it needs to be, right? Two posts ago, the box was exactly as wide as the line "And I don't know if this counts, but I made the layout for This guy." Last post, the box stretched all the way across the screen.

If that's the way it works, then my complaints are over.

Yep.
The box is always as tight as possible. However, Quote strings stretch it very wide.

If you had made them sparser and throughout the entire post (not just the bottom), maybe. But as it is, it's kind of akward.
