I like the plot, it soulds like the kind that keeps you wanting to progress through the game. Only one screenshot? I think some people here are a little spoiled and might be ticked that they didn't get more than one.

So long as you don't get hacker's block and put it on ice, it may come out good. Of course, you just started, so it's just speculation.

What it really comes down to is that you haven't announced much of anything. Announcing some vague plot premise and a single screenshot tells us little to nothing of what it will be. Also, 2 weeks is hardly a lot for hacking this game. It will take a long time. But please keep on working on it and releasing information when you have a little bit more to show.

It's been a long time since anyones announced a Zelda 3 hack, or at least a long time since I've been bothered to scroll down a bit in the ROM Hacking forum. Hopefully it'll work. Probably not though.

Well, I like the graphics. I had to get the image URL and put it in a new FF tab so that I could see it at 100%, but the new tiles are nice.

But, Link's hair looks sorta funny..

I just looked at it, and I think it looks really good!!

But I have to agree with Shadic....his hair looks funny.

I really like his tunic though.

Hmmm... Looks nice. This hack has nice promice. And we need more Zelda 3 hacers on this board anyways. I mean counting myself I think theres...6 in total? (correct me if I'm wrong ). But yeah as long as you have the sheer stubborness to see the hack all the way through. This could be really good. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I can't see anything so I don't know.

Since I'm not adding anything remotely interesting to the topic, what happened to all the other awesome Zelda 3 hacks that were being worked on? Like, Dark Prophecy and Alternate Dimension or whatever. There were like three of them I really wanted to see. Did they all die or what? Or were they released and I never noticed?

That "weird" block in your hack looks like the house exit door for link's house, double click on the exit to disable it.

As a general rule of thumb, when making villages in a video game, try not to make all of them look exactly the freaking same, unless it's for style.

Also try not to take ugly screenshots by pressing like F1 in ZSNES and probably some other button in SNES9X. Save in PNG, too, JPEG makes it look like it fell in the toilet.
