Yes, just edit it like any other article. A minor thing would be to preceed your comment with an asterisk, to make it become a button, but its really not neccessary. If you want to comment on another comment, add your comment directly underneath it and preceed it with :* . The colon has a similar effect as blockquote.

Funny how this should appear in the news when we're talking about this:

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The founder of Wikipedia on Friday urged contributors to the free Internet encyclopedia to put more emphasis on quality instead of quantity.

With more than 1.2 million articles in English alone, Wikipedia already has met its goal of becoming a comprehensive encyclopedia, founder Jimmy Wales told more than 300 people at the start of "Wikimania," a three-day gathering of people devoted to Wikipedia and other community Web projects.

But even while Wikipedia's vast scope exceeds that of traditional encyclopedias such as Britannica, Wales said Wikipedia would become even more valuable if entries were written less choppily, for example, or better identified their sources.

"Although we've always had this goal of Britannica quality or better, we're not there yet," he said. "We can no longer feel satisfied and happy when we see these (article) numbers going up. ... We should continue to turn our attention away from growth and towards quality."

It's one thing to endorse more high quality entries, but this has nothing to do with notability (a bad word anyway).

And to sum the deletion up, as long as there is no mention of something in print, it should not be put on Wikipedia (And as I and DD mentioned, Mario Adventure was indeed mentioned in print).

On the other side, Wikipedia should be coherend, if it has this guidlines and elitists are so up the ass with those, thy should be enforced on EVERY article.. or simply put: I do not like stubs (i.e. They are worse as Old German Pokémon Hackers from FILB).

I think the rom hack = Nintendo magazine argument is EXTREMELY weak.

Hell, how many magazines would have the guts to publish articles about rom hacks? Not many in the United States.

I posted:

Although I am not an established editor, I'd just like to point out a logical truth that may move this argument along: If you are looking for a physical book on ROM hacking, there will NEVER be one. ROM hacking is an internet phenominon, and as such everyone who is interested in it communicates over the internet. Without the internet it would be nearly impossible for a ROM hacking group to exist. Distributing ROM patches in a physical format would be pointlessly hard, plus if not for internet ROMs each user would have to get a Super Mario Bros. cart and dump the ROM him/herself. As such, there will NEVER be a physical book on ROM hacking, because it is completely pointless. The internet is by far the most effective medium for ROM hacking discussion. 69.251.204.239 03:22, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Logically speaking nobody outside of the non-Polynesian River studying community has ever heard of Nobodygivesafuck River in the province of Mynutsitchingismoreinterestingthanthis. Therefore shouldn't everything about Polynesia be deleted? Wikipedia has been ruined by hypocritical elitist assholes and debasing the ideas of the foundation. You want to cover things that offer major cultural locuses...Gah. Too pissed off.

*applauds wite*

I'm tempted to write an article on an obscure video game this weekend. Something obscure with an official release.

Moved here

Feel free to update it with "VERIFIABLE SOURCES" (read: someone upload the readme and link to it a bunch of times) and whatever.

Also note the top note.

As I said before, Wikipedia is garbage. Use yer own wiki and forget they exist, otherwise it's a looooooooong argument with a bunch of entrenched people who will never back down, no matter how ridiculous their whole thing is.

By that logic, you could knock out several pages at once; for example, how do printed sources matter for 4chan?

Okay, guys, shut up about Wikipedia. Yes, you don't like the community. No one cares anymore. If I made a thread here saying a thread on GameFAQs was deleted, would anyone so much as care?

GameFAQs is completely and entirely different to Wikipedia.

If people are still posting in the thread, then it's relevant. If you don't like it, then ignore the thread. Problem solved!
