Zophar isn't dead, he has nothing to do with the site anymore. The staff is just lazy and admits it on the forums all the time. They're supposed to be collecting a new staff that will actually do something (Like I haven't heard that before) but I doubt the site will be making a comeback anytime soon.

Now, let's give Dude Man his topic back, shall we?

Yeah, I'm sure he'll be pissed that he put years of work into a hack that he's released in this thread, only to have you guys trail off and start talking about lazy Zophar assholes.

Anyways, I've encountered the line glitch, and I have no clue how the hell it happened. I bet one of you ASM guys out there could find out what's gone awry here, but you either have a life or have a secret double life as a Zophar Staff Member.

I'm here to take my topic back.

*takes topic back

alright now. I've verified the line glitch along with a graphics screw up in Ridleys lair (I swear I thought I fixed this!)
Both will be fixed come the next version.

However... if you want to fix the small graphics screw up open your rom in a hex editor and go to 16B1B.

Change "25 25 24 24" to "24 24 24 24" and problem solved.

Oh! does anybody remember that document made by SnowBro that literally showed Metroid inside and out. I'm trying to find some information on Passwords.

This could help with the aim dwn and duck idea couldn't it.

I with a sence of humour, since it was a copy I mashed on the # keys near that location. When I started the game I had the ice beam, and I had the inf. energy code where the energy went up and down at 30 and 40. That's kinda funny that mashing on a key board did good LOL.

Then again some GFX are probably screwed now in areas(IDK as I didn't play it that way for long). So I don't think thats a thing i'll do anymore.

Thanks for the document. I wasn't able to extract any password info from it. I can't imagine it being too hard to change where the password system thinks items are. Perhaps I can use trial and error.

Any suggestions?

Although this thread deserves a bump, it is just against the rules. But judging from your scheme, looks like it's already been taken care of.

Dude Man, I hope you find something or someone that can help you with adding SRAM to the hack. Genocide on a cart... pwnage.
