But if the battery currently on the cartridge isnt a rechargable one, attempting to recharge it could cause negative effects. It could even explode, I know this to be true with alkalines and though I really SHOULD know more about the mechanics of lithium based batteries, I don't think it'd be a good idea of course, if the battery is of a rechargable nature (and, lithum batteries may be just that), then by all means, give it a go. | |||

Lithium Batteries were rechargable from the start, AFAIK, and I don't think there is such a thing as a non-rechargable lithium battery.
And CR2032 are standard on nintendo carts I *think*. So yeah, you should be able to mod your GB or GBC to do that, assuming it doesn't already, in which case you might just have a bad battery/SRAM chip. |
