Ugh.

So, I make me a piece of pizza when I see that my outdoor dogs got out again (more on that in a later post). They're the most idiotic creatures on earth (I've scraped smarter shit off my feet). I spend 20 minutes hustling them back in and tie the gate up when I see that ONE OF THE GODDAMN DOGS GOT OUT AGAIN! THEY USUALLY AT LEAST WAIT AN HOUR OR SO BEFORE GETTING OUT AGAIN! FUCK! I untie the gate again, push him back in again, and she almost gets out the hole a third time, but I run over there and fill the hole back up before she can get out. I retie the fence and go inside when MY INDOOR DOG IS ON THE TABLE AND EATING MY PIZZA! I smack him and throw him (literally, it's like a Maltese, so it's small) on the bed, and scream at him.

Now I'm left with an eighth of pizza to call my entire lunch.

Kill the smallest dog and eat it for your lunch.

You solve a few problems like that.

Pets. They're dumb, but cute. They may not know what they're doing wrong. Have you tried to keep the dog off the tables previously?

An eighth of a pizza sounds like a good lunch to me...

And they're fucking dogs. They're like kids, I can't bring myself to hate them. Call them stupid push them around maybe, but not hate them.

How the hell are they "getting out"? You can't get a more stable cage for them?

I'm guessing they dug a hole, beethoven style.

(seriously, the hole is your own fault D: )

...Close the door?

Or put something in front of the hole, like some wood or a lawn mower, maybe.

And put your pizza on a counter that they can't reach. I learned that many years ago with my dog.

They're in a yard and they keep digging out over and over; I fill in one hole and they make a new one.

Give them away then, if they're too much of a hassle. Train them to be more obedient through obedience school. Give them some painkiillers in their food. There's bound to be something that should help you, but I say put chicken wire around the entire fence.

Put generic bricks above the hole/fence.

Several of them.

Yeah, some more on the other side, maybe, too. They can't dig through bricks.

I don't think that animal cruelty is the best solution.

The pizza being eaten was your fault for leaving it there. I know how annoying it can be when dogs escape and run off and you get blamed for them being able to dig and spend 4 hours wandering around in the hot sun looking for them.

You people have stupid dogs

My dog never goes potty in the house, never leaves the yard, and pretty much never does anything wrong. I can take him on walks without a leash. He stays right by me and listens to everything I tell him.

It's all about training. You have to show you're dominant and they'll listen. Go watch "Dog Whisperer" on Discovery Channel.

Don't worry, I throw like ass; he's dumb enough to enjoy it more than anything else.

And, of course, I'm back to petting the damn thing; so...

If you don't want your dogs digging out there's a VERY simple solution. Go buy yourself some chicken wire at your local co-op or farm supply store or... your hardware store will probably even have it. Wal-Mart might. Lay it out at the edge of the fence (maybe even under it a bit if you can) and throw dirt on top of it. They'll try to dig a few times, hit the wire, and realize that they can't get through it and it hurts to try and that'll be the end of that.

Or how about even one of those big bricks? I dont even know how big his dogs are but assuming how he said stuff im guessing there big. So I would try a good sized brick.

How the hell does a *maltese* jump onto the counter?

Mine is a tiny little fluff-ball who can't even jump onto my bed.

Floor --> Chair --> table.

He's sneaky, I'll give him that.
