Quite simple, but catchy.

There is one problem...
I cannot create a normal bass drum. Then I must use only bright noise like it was in Alien 3... |

The overall tune is good, sounds almost like it should be in a video game. Hoever, there were certain effects that for me are quite unpleasent to hear, so based on that alone, I am thankful that it never appeared in a game.
But personal taste aside, great job. Is that song compatable with any sound engines in any current games? It would be neat to have an NSF comopser/extracter/inserter for some of the most popular formats. |

Nice hypnotic piece. Did you make the entire nsf from scratch? That's really cool if you did.

Nice, got a dark feel to it
And yes, NSF is far from dead. Entry period for famicompo mini vol3 just closed a few days ago (i submitted some, but to follow rules I'm not allowed to say which) |

IMHO one of the best composers on NES was Jeroen Tel (he was working in PROBE software sometimes)
Others were Tim Follin and Gecko Yamori that wrote music for T2 and some other games--- (edited by AmidE on 07-29-06 01:58 PM) |

You can use the triangle wave for a bassdrum. Just create a pitch envelope to simulate a kick, then just place it at the desired positions using the same tone as the bassline.

Biggest thnx, Gecko
I don't know why I was think that i can use only noise for drums ps T2 music really rules! (edited by AmidE on 07-29-06 04:51 PM) |
