We're going to get some things straight. This is not the old Pokemon Hacking forum. You will now behave accordingly.

POKEMON HACKING FORUM RULES
---------------------------

These rules are not optional. If you don't follow them, you won't be welcome posting here. Sound simple enough?

1. Read the board FAQ. Know the board FAQ. Love the board FAQ. Be one with the board FAQ. If you can't do this, you have no business on the board, let alone this forum.

What does this mean in simple terms? Know what you should and shouldn't be doing BEFORE you come in here. If you can't do this for us, then we owe you nothing, including the privilage of posting here.

2. No requests of any kind. This includes programs, offsets that you can easily find on your own, ROMs (which if you followed rule one you'd already know arent allowed), hacks/IPS patches, anything. If you need help on a hack, PM the author or contact them off of the board. If you need help with a program, READ THE MANUAL. If, IF, after long, serious, dilliegent research on your own, by the means of Google, checking other places, reading documentation, etc, you cannot find the answer to say, an offset, you MIGHT get away with asking about it. I wouldn't try it.

What does this mean in simple terms? No "plz gime al teh lef grean ofsetz n advance maep ofsits pls tx" threads or posts. Doing so will end your posting career in this forum. We are in the process of putting together a couple of resourceful threads which give some common information people will ask for. We are not obligated to find something for you, if it is not there, do not complain and just look for it on your own.

3. No stupid threads. When you post a thread about your hack, you must have more than just an idea. If I see "IM MAKING A RUBY HAKC WIF NEW POKEYMEN AND MAPZ AND MUZAK" and we see no screenshots or proof to back it up, I will be very, very upset. Look to the SMW hacking forum for an example. Yes! The SMW hacking forum currently passes this one in intelligence, so much so that you can actualy LEARN something from them. Perhaps you all don't realize the extent of how sad this really is, but its not a good thing.

What does this mean in simple terms? We want proof. If theres no proof such as screenshots, then we can only assume your hack dosn't exist. If you fake screenshots, you will die. If you steal other people's hacks or graphics or anything without their permission and post it as your own, you will also die.

4. No "how do i hex" threads. If you don't know what something is, you check Google, read the manual, ANYTHING but ask about it here, because we have no tolerance for these kind of threads. We have a zero tolerance rule for stupidity. Also keep in mind that this is a primarily English speaking forum. If you aren't a native English speaker, often times people will not be able to understand you and help you as best as we can. However, if your thread is vague, uninformative, and just taking up space, regardless of reason, it will be disposed of, as it causes confusion, takes up space, and contributes to the declining IQ over-all. If you think you can express your question well enough for others to be able to help you then by all means.

What does this mean in simple terms? Stupidity is killed on sight. Just post intelligently, surely that isn't so much to ask?

5. If you feel you can't follow these simple rules, it would be a huge help to us all if you didn't post here.

What does this mean in simple terms?

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, POST AT POKECOMMUNITY. They tolerate crap. We don't.
