What is proper etiquette when someone steals a joke / line of yours? Do you call them out on it? Let it slide once or twice? Steal something of theirs? Personally, I try to stay honest, but sometimes I will go down a certain conversation path only to realize that I wasn't the first person I know to go there. Eh, if someone steals my jokes (or for a better example, if someone starts using >8( like crack), I call them on it and give them a hard time, but it's always in a joking manner. This is the internet, for chrissake. In real life, you could probably make a joke back hinting that you KNOW they just stole your thunder... but I'm not one to crack jokes all the time, so that's hard to relate to. |

That guy that claims he killed that Ramsey girl...the real deal or some wanna be who wants recognition? (I say wanna be) What's your favortie Hack? Like my User Name? LoL I know its bad that I say I'm doing this to level up. But at lest I get some interaction from people here. ha ha. Slightly better than myspace cause I have something in common with people here. |

I doubt it, I'm lazy, I'm not as into gaming as most of the folks here. Sure, I love games, but it's just a little hobby.

| I really don't know why I post here. I was inactive for the longest time when I first joined, then all of a sudden (last summer...) I posted like a madwoman. And now I love this place.
I don't feel guilty about posting here, because I don't let it run my life. If my friends ask me to go out then I go, who cares if I don't get to post. Now, if it were the other way around, then someone would need to slap me. 
Hide it from them? Well they know I post at message boards, but I don't tell them the name. They're not really gamers and if they decided to register, it would be a disaster. Plus I'm, uh, very open about my sexuality here. |

Yep, I'll be a senior this year. I definitely plan on college, but I don't know where. Probably somewhere in-state (CA) but after the latest news about how getting teaching credentials here are impossible (I want to be a teacher), I think I may apply to a few colleges out of state. Just depends on the situation in a year... but at the moment, getting your credentials in CA means wasting 2 years of your life and your money, compared to other states, and... I don't really have that kind of money to just throw away. About the dolphins...  ... | So um. You were right about the Ashley thing. Too young and too not my type. Last time I saw her she said offhand that she didn't believe in true love. Alarm bells started going off... since I'm one for commitment. So yeah. Back to the being totally single thing.
I'm moving soon. I said something about needing roomates the other night when I was out and a couple of my friends about started fighting over me. On the one side was a girl I met a few weeks ago. Rent would be hella cheap for an apartment as nice as hers ($175.) She's pretty cool and all... But I'd have to be willing to deal with marijuana in the house. And I know she does (or at least has done in the past) drugs I'd be afraid to see. Plus we kinda have a vibe going on so it might be weird living with a girl in a small place who is interested in me. I'd probably be interested back but for the drugs. On the other hand is my friend Matt. I know him through my last roomate and could see myself getting along just fine. He has a house (which he's paying the note on) so I wouldn't have to deal with a lease or landlord. He needs all new roomates so he's looking for 2 or 3. There are three bedrooms and a loft. With three of us the note would be $250 for each of us, so about $185ish for 4 people. My cousin needs roomates soon too so I might could convince him to move in. It's obvious which way I'm leaning with this one. Problem is, the apartment on the other side of the wall (duplex) from my old roomate is opening up soon and I have dibs if I want it. Rent is also $175. I'd be in the same driveway as my 2 best friends and my D&D gaming group. I'd have to find a roomate for that though. One who would be willing to take the small bedroom. What are your thoughts on this? And how do I tell one or more of my friends that I'm not looking to live with them at the moment without sounding like an ass? *edit* You never wore new shoes out of the store!? | Sorry to hear about Ashley. =\ I had a feeling that's how it would turn out... at least you don't have the "what if" anymore. You'll recover, I am sure of it.
As for the moving thing... is there any way you can get the last place you talked about, and ask your cousin to room with you? Then you'd have a roomie, you'd be by your friends, and it would be cheaper. Easily the best situation, IMO. Otherwise, I'd say to go live with Matt. Avoid the first option, you don't want to get caught up in drugs and crap. You can tell your friends that you don't room with that you found something better and cheaper (or whatever the circumstances may be), but that you appreciate their offer and whatnot. | I'm not on Skype much because I'm at work until about 2am EST, and my parents don't go to bed for even later... so if I do get a chance to talk, it's very late and I've missed all the fun anyway. Plus, my best friend IRL has made it a habit to call me late at night and chat on the phone until some ungodly hour...
I should try to jump in those chats more often, though. |
