Well, my advice would be to not ask someone out until you know them better than just an acquaintance. It's okay to be shy and such around the girls at first, but if you want to have a relationship you gotta lighten up and really get to know whoever it is you're interested in. Once you have that, you can assess the situation and see whether or not dating would be a good idea. If you think so, just be yourself and ask.  |

This is my mess. I don't have any idea what to do with myself at all, and doing poorly in all four of my classes isn't helping matters. I don't see myself getting out of the immediate hole unless I skip class (which I'm not doing) or pulling two more straight all-nighters, then working pretty much all day and night on the weekend to study for next week's tests (2). I'm stressing myself out over school again. I know when I get shaky and jittery that I'm about to snap, and I'm at that point already, but if I don't keep going full steam ahead I'll fail. So it comes down to press on and crash or slow down and risk falling further behind. :\ I don't have a clue what to do... |

| Agh, read my previous post Kamek... you need to take a break from less important things, like the internet, and focus on school. Catch up on your work, put in more study time, and what spare time you do have during the day, sleep. Allow yourself at least 7 or 8 hours a night so that you don't feel like crap during the day. Just eliminate the things that are bogging you down and focus on school. Your grades and success in your classes are far more important. You probably can't afford having to retake a class anyway, what a waste of time and money. | |||

| Uhh... the same way you'd get to know someone of the same sex. Just talk to them. Find some common interests, discuss hobbies, etc. and if there's good chemistry, it should be obvious on both ends (that is if the other person is interested). Don't build it up to be such a big deal talking to someone of the opposite sex... it's not. They're a person just like you. |
