Yeah, just keep going. The games don't take long, so it shouldn't really be a problem. 
And hey, if you'd like to, go for it.  We all know I'm not skilled in the photoshop/paint field. You know the way it's set up and all, right?
But you might want to wait until we have enough players, otherwise the tourney won't be happening. We also need to decide if we're playing teams or single players. GUYS TEAMS OR SINGLE PLAYERS? (edited by Danielle on 07-11-06 01:06 AM) |

| Sorry to not help, but I don't have a preference as to singles/teams. I'm fine either way.
As for the bracket, after the first round the bracket splits into 8-person winners/losers brackets, and then the tournament essentially becomes single-elimination matches (with the top 2 moving on) afterwards? That's how I understand it, anyway.
I'll post a sample bracket tomorrow to see if I'm right or not. |

And since nobody is giving any input, I guess we'll skip the teams idea and just do single players. So Kamek, it should start with 4 groups of 4 players, then branch out into two winners brackets and two losers brackets, and then become one group in the winners, one in the losers, and finally, end in the championship game. I don't know if I explained that very well, if you have any questions about it just ask. |

Danielle and I talked and got the bracketing done. It'll be a double-elimination format (though I'm not sure how she wants to do the points system). The bracket will look like this:

| You get 4 points for finishing in 1st place, 3 for 2nd, for 3rd, and 1 for 4th. For every round that you advance in the winner's bracket (IE no losses), you'll get 2 more points. So if you remain in the winner's bracket the entire time, you'll have quite a handful of points. It's something to strive for. ;D
It's double elimination, because I wanted the tournament to last longer than just 2 rounds. So it's kind of hard to follow... just use the letters on the bracket. The 1, 2, 3, 4 numbers signify what place each person in the group placed in, and where they'll move.
