| I think the board should be entirely re-nuked and brought back again. It's gotten chaotic and out of control, and also completely spammified. I just think it would be better for another fresh board. Endless n00bs who don't read the FAQ, or ANY FAQ's for that matter, the rules, help files, anything. All of the goodbye threads... Just... a lot of junk. Does anybody agree with me? | |||

I dunno, I wouldn't mind a lower ID number. 
It's probably not worth the effort, and it's not THAT bad to start with in my opinion. But I originated from GameFAQs, so take that how you will. |

When some random person registers (see: registration date, this being his first post) and starts babbling about destroying the boards again not a day later, you know something's up. No, no, ID 36 is awesome. 
Blowing up the board wouldn't cut down on the n00bs. That'd give the banned ones another chance to register (example: SMWFreak) The trashed threads, in my eyes, are a way to laugh at what they did, and just go on with our posting duties. Sparx. | I'm kinda a new here, but I don't see too many idiots except for the people who are banned. If every board restarted because of a bunch of idiots, then a lot of boards would have restarted many times by now. This is a terrible idea in my opinion. | |||

| I don't personally see that much idiocy myself, although I know there are a few pockets where there is a lot more of it than usual.
Those are generally known as the hacking forums. It's really rather unfortunate, because I think it ruins the experience for others who are looking for help or feedback. As demonstrated in the past though, blowing up those forums doesn't help anybody all that much either -- the best thing to do is to participate in a positive way, lead by example, and try to raise the posting quality of the forum.

| I don't see how nuking the forums would change the fact that people are stupid. The idiotcy around these parts is caused by something; It doesn't exist simply in a vaccum. If you want to cut down on the number of idiots, find out and eliminate the reasons why one would come to this board, instead of just resetting it every time a stupid person joins.
And, of course, just like you can't ever "beat" terrorism, you can't completely remove idiotcy from the board. You can just catch the idiots you can when you can catch them. |
