For the Zelda II: The Shadow of Link, how did the creator give it a "darker" overworld look.
I dont remember if caves, towns, and palaces were different, but i remember the overworld looking darker. Anyone know? |

The hack had palette editing on more than just the overworld, it had changed the encounters you find, replacing them with much stronger monsters that you're supposed to find later in the game. And just about the entire overworld is edited, along with new graphics for the overworld.
Also, it was just too damned hard. |
