| Ok, so I'm making a Luigi ROM where Mario is replaced with Luigi, but I seem to be having a problem. How do I fix the World/Lives status screen on the map? Here is the screenshot: http://www.freewebs.com/grand_master_king_brett/29.png
Can anybody tell me how to fix it? I have to get that ROM finished. |

| You tried to simply replace the font graphics, though that is a bad idea. You should try to find the strings you want to change in the ROM. and rewrite them. IIRC there is an editor out there that can do this. | |||

| What is the name of it and where do you find it? I need it in order to fix this so I can finish my Mario ROM so the two ROMs can be combined into Super Mario Bros. 4: Bowser's Revenge. | |||

| I hope that wasn't sarcasm Travis. If it was, I'll hunt you down and gut you like a fish. Just kidding, anyway I have the SMB3 Text editor and I finally fixed the World/lives Status screen, now I just need to make Luigi look taller and have him jump higher and make him skid further than he does originally. But how do you do that though? I can make him taller and jump higher without ASM hacking. | |||
