Stabing the Drama - Soilwork

Love the song, the intro starts out kinda quiet then they play with the whammy and make a scream, awesome Then the song itself is pretty catchy, plays in my head when I'm in Algebra II.

Bune - Moonbird Set 2005
I'm actually posting this so I can remember the name of it later.
Such a beautiful, melodic ambient song I found on HBR1 Radio on iTunes. I love ambient music, and this really is the best I've ever heard. No lie.

DJ Ions - Chillioo
Anything with Starcraft soundeffects and voices in it is good enough for me. It needs no further explanation, other than it's another wonderful ambient electronica song.
This wins.

Listening to Seventy Billion People, by The Mk Ultra
A quicker paced, yet soft ambient track with some nice syths and almsot cosmic sound effects. Beautiful, really.

Oh My Love by S.E.S.

This Korean girl group was worshipped by many of my guy friends in middle and high school. They have dissolved since I graduated but their music is good. Anyways, this particular track is typical of most girl group music, fluffy sounding with some beat to it...

S. E. S. ? Reminds me of Smile Empty Soul =/

Anyways...

I'm listening to Track_1

Some piece of crap I recorded, I really hate it. The guitars are annoying and the echo is fscking rediculous. I'm gonna delete it from my HD right now.

Artist: Wisin y Yandel
Album: Pa'l Mundo
Song: Mayor Que Yo Pt.2

Okay. A change from my rock ways. So far, it is going on four days straight of reggaeton. I went to a festival, saw some rappers perform, got hooked. I like this song. The fast pace beats and sounds, while the lyrical context is good (albeit with a mix of some nonsense lyrics) but it is all in good fun. It is about a guy in love with an older woman. In my case, I rearrange the meaning in my mind, older guy in love with a younger girl. Still, good song.

Domenico+2 - Sincerely Hot

Domenico+2 is a Brazilian band part of a "musical trilogy"(along with Moreno+2 and someone else). They have a real good beat and combine that classical Latin rhythmic awesomeness along with American rock. It's cool. Sincerely hot is well done, although the repetition can be a bit much. I think it flows nicely(rhythm+lyrics).

The Teardrop Explodes - Books

Speaking of outspoken music... The Teardrop Explodes emerged in the late 70s from that whole Liverpool neo psychadelic community. Their music is MOSTLY like the Clash. They sound like them but their lyrics are very obscure. What I've noticed is that a lot of their songs have middle eastern references in the titles.(Like Lila Khaled Said, Seven Views of Jerusalem, Thief of Baghdad, etc.) A lot of their songs sound the same. Which is good and bad. They were very consistent but I really can't separate 'books' from their other songs.

Zappa's hilarious dirty humour and very well produced and orchestrated music makes listening to anything he touches pure joy.

Won't find it here - Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society

I love this album, it's all mostly acoustic and laid back, hence the name of the album "Hangover Music - Vol. 6". He still does amazing guitar solos, like in this song, but he plays more acoustic guitars in this album. The song starts off slow and calm, the song makes me feel like I'm just drifting away... so peaceful, and his voice is still good with this kind of music. When the solo comes up, it isn't like his other speed demon solos, but it's rather lenghty and complex with effects. It's really easy on the ears. In other words it's a great song (cool, 2 more things to use xD)

[edit]Okay now...

Seperate - Sevendust

Excellent band, this song is off of their "Seasons" album, the last one before Clint left. The song starts off with a nice intro, very much like them, its catchy yet simple to play. The lyrics are really good, like the rest of the album. If you can, I suggest you gice it a listen cause it is really good. Yay!

Artist: The Subways
Album: Young for Eternity
Song: I Want To Hear What You Got To Say

Took a break from the reggaeton. New band, I just found their album a day ago. I like their sound. They are from the UK but they sound closer to the Von Bondies which is another band I like. The songs are pretty catchy and the vocals are not bad. I especially like the parts where you can hear the female member of the band sing.

DragonForce! Yay!

Such an awesome song, love the intro. The singer has a nice voice, it's way better than a bunch or growling and moaning =/ The song is really nice, but my favorite is towards the end. The guitar solo. They are so great, I hope I'm as good as them one day. Anyways, enjoy it.

A strange ambient compiliation called (get ready)
Francofunghi - Die Dunkelheit Findet nur Abseits des Lichtes Statt

Long title; yes. Amazing compilitation on HBR1 Internet Radio. I don't have a lot of time to post, so I'm making this brief. Low bass riffs and etherial other-worldly sounds make this a one-of-a-kind. So sweet.

I've been listening to a rather odd playlist lately, spawned by a combination of sentimentality and desire for something different. That said:

Sentimentality:
"I wanna go to a place..." from Gundam SEED Destiny
"Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from 50 First Dates
"The Reason" by Hoobastank
"The Real Folk Blues" from Cowboy Bebop
"On Fire" by Switchfoot

This came from my need to gather all the sentimentality I could in music during some personal struggle about a month ago...and that really is about all I could muster; most of my playlist is more rock stuff.

And then after that, I have the best songs from the Katamari Damacy soundtrack. Which is really bizarre juxtaposition of music.
Schweiz oder etwas

Currently, I've been looping some classic Blue Oyster Cult (Don't Fear the Reaper, I'm Burning For You) on my iPod, alongside some DDR mixes... The Legend of Max, for example. It's really a very good song for when you're driving somewhere and you need to go there very quickly.

Hiryuu's turned me onto some good electronic stuff lately, too. If you can find it, I would suggest listening to ElectorPiZZa's "Binary". It's incredible. When it comes up at random and I'm just walking around somewhere, I suddenly feel like I'm a million times cooler just for listening to it.

And as far as other kinds of game music go... Being the Guilty Gear fan that I am, I've been blasting the volume a bit louder when Blue Water, Blue Sky from GGXX comes up. It's really one of the best songs on the soundtrack, it combines a good mix of wild rock with compelling chord changes and a fast beat that really gets to me.

Oh, and I finally managed to find myself the extended version of the opening theme song to Bo-bobo Bo-bobobo. Which rules.

John Cena - Bring your Reinforcements

It's a rap song (believe if it or not). I'm not sure if it was really done by John Cena but I know it's his entrance theme. I like the way the strings were played, everything is mixed in well.

Artist: In Flames
Track: Dead End
Album: Come Clarity (2006)

I like this track, mostly for the vocals by Lisa Miskovsky. I love the vocals by Lisa Miskovsky. Anders' screaming is not the best, but tolerable. The way he does it during the chorus is really what drags it down. Sounds like sour notes to me, and he's doing it on purpose, which isn't good. Nothing wrong with the riffing, so all in all, the song comes out as slightly above average. The guitar lead sounds a bit repetetive, but that could be because I've had the song on repeat for a few times now.

I love Lisa Miskovky's vocals on this track..
