At the Drive In-Enfilade

The old band of the lead singer and guitarist of The Mars Volta.

A different style to what I am used to when listening TMV but the songs is pretty good in itself.

D4L- Laffy Taffy

The best bad song I've heard all year. There are basically two kinds of bad songs, good bad songs and bad bad songs. Bad bad songs you just don't want to listen period since they are completely horrible. Good bad songs are still low quality but the utter stupidity of it is so amusing you can't help but listening. D4L's Laffy Taffy is a good example, a stupid rap song with bad innuendos- a variety of candies is used in this one.

That's the only one I really needed to comment on. Other than that my favorite songs at the moment are:

-Fall Out Boy- Dance Dance
-Fall Out Boy- Our Lawyers...
-Lil' Kim- Lighters Up
-T-Pain- I'm Sprung
-Young Jeezy featuring Akon- Soul Survivor
-My Chemical Romance- Ghost of You
-Sean Paul- We Be Burnin'

Starcraft Remix - Atomic Dance

A very neat trance/techno remix. And im a major starcraft fan, so its pretty awesome. It has a ton of starcraft unit sounds in there too.

Slipknot's Disasterpiece. The live one from 9.0, the CD is pretty good.

edit| Now I'm listening to Purity.
edit| Now Despise by Slipknot from their self titled re-release w/demos and remixes. Despise was later redone into a song called Purity.

Somebody added Explain to the title, which is probably a good thing. No Cash is really, really amazing punk. Catchy and hard, with some ska to make some badass music. The YTMND stuff is quite amusing in general. Dead Kennedys are hardcore punk with a twisted sense of humor. I suggest any of these.

Not to start some "lolurbandsuck" flame war, but I can't say I care for the Green Day, MCR of Fall Out Boy listed above. New Green Day leaves me empty and I burned out on MCR and Fall Out Boy type music in sixth or seventh grade. Rage Against the Machine is pretty sweet though.

Feel free to critique or express opinons about whatever I'm listening to; nothing wrong with discussion about genres and different tastes, ect.

I'd like to add these to my listening list too:
Subhumans (UK) "Live in a Dive" Hardcore stuff
Choking Victim "No Gods/No Managers" Ska/Punk
Minor Threat "Complete Discography" The Straight Band

DADDY YANKEE - ROMPE

I love this song!! No, I do, con todo mi corazon.
The beat, but it needs a video so I can see Daddy Yankee..I just figured out that he's kinda cute. I just love how he raps it and everything. I think I just like how he uses his voice with the beat. The beat is very addictiong..got me singing "ROMPE, ROMPE, ROMPE!!" I think it means "breaks"..not sure .

Mudvayne - Fucking Determined

If you don't like a lot of yelling and loud, heavy instrumentals, don't listen to this song. It's a great song though. Very hard.

Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness

I don't know why I like it. It just seems to fit what I like I guess. I don't normally like JEW, but this is a good song.

Hawksley Workman's Lover/Fighter is pretty good, in comparison to what I'd expected. The single didn't really cut it for me, but it seems I actually really like about 2/3 of the CD.

I've been pretty busy just lately, so I don't actually get much time to listen to music, but I do get various They Might Be Giants songs stuck in my head at various points althroughout the week. Check 'em out.

Tool is always a good choice, and I also highly recommend William Shatner's Has Been. No joke.

But now read the thread title you do not. Watch and learn, son.

np: DJ Shadow: "The Number Song"

Off another one of them albums where you look at it and can't believe it's 10 years old, Endtroducing... It's also surprising at just how far he'd taken the Public Enemy-ish sample-based production stance, constructing an entire album out of samples. The drums in this song, actually, are quite like Oasis's "Fuckin' In the Bushes", and he just builds the song from there. Vocal samples include someone counting up, as well as down, but it's just about the beat. And the occasional horn breaks.

Artist: The Beatles
Album: One (Greatest Hits)
Song: I Want to Hold Your Hand

I got into The Beatles about a few months ago. I have listened to them arely until these recent weeks where I can been playing this CD all the time. I really want to get more songs but I have no clue where to start. I like this song, it's catchy and upbeat. Just makes me want to bust out a guitar and dance and clap.
