I have Baldurs gate on my computer installed and ready to go as well as cd's 1 through 6 all uploaded into my hard drive. Problem is, whenever i want to play the game, it says i need to insert the 3rd cd into the D:/ drive. I can't, my friend has my cd's. How do i make it so the game reads the cd data from the folders the cd's are in?

You would likely need a patch or something that does it. Different games have different 'no cd" patches / cracks. There generally isn't a generic solution that will work for every game, unless you're running isos off HDD via something like Alcohol and even then...

I suggest you Google for one for Baldur's Gate.

I did what you said Tarale and the game ran fine... for a while. Now it says " please insert disc into DRIVE C:/ What the hell does that mean? Shouldnt the game be reading the burnt disc from the cd tray? Whenever i exit a certain map it'll ask me to insert the disc (which is already in drive D:/

...Right... Try running regedit, finding the location of the keys for baldur's gate, and see if any keys are set to "C:\" or something instead of "D:\". Usually, I've found that games keep their keys in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\(companyname)\(gamename)" or some place like that.
