| I just got home from my night out.
The rain stopped and I went to my old appartment and hung out with my ex-roomate and some friends. I didn't have a lot of cash for fireworks but I got the hookup and between all of us we had some nice artillery. I had a couple or three beers. The cops came by and shut us down at 11 though, which was lame. But at least they didn't ticket us. They could have, since technically fireworks are illegal in this town. Just like liquor and fun are illegal here 
We still burned things after that, just nothing loud. My ex roomie got quite a bit tipsy. He ad more whiskey than I'd ever want in a night but he handled it extremely well... until the neighbor came home with her 13 year old daughter and he said he'd like to.... yeah... way too loudly. Hehe. I'm sure she took it as a compliment though. She knows she's nice looking and teases all the guys in the neighborhood. Anyway, I got to spend quality time with several people I don't see often anymore. I had some good barbecue. I blew things up and set things on fire. I have a nice stockpile of leftover fireworks. I'd call tonight a successful celebration. How was your fourth? |

Somewhat disappointing. Fireworks are now banned at my grandparents' house, and pretty much everywhere else within driving distance. 
How else am I supposed to fulfill my pyromaniacal tendencies?  |

It was bad. It rained hard when it got dark and only a few fireworks got up. Most of them pooped out before they could explode. 
I blew up mine yesterday night since it only rained a little and stopped. Julie was telling me, "Ha ha! You're fucking retarded Dane!" while I lit up about 10 rockets at the same time. |
