Thers been something in Hyrule Magic thats been getting to be a problem recently. All objects that can be changes don't seem to be able to be changed into that format on the Hyrule Magic editing screen.
Example --- When the game starts the main gate in front of Hyrule Castle is blocking the way yet after you get Zelda out and leave the Sancuary its gone yet in Hyrule Magic its there for life.
This is just one example some more would be Bombable walls, Opened doors, Moved Gravesones, Swamp Dungeon Entrance, Turtle Rock Dungeon Entrance, Pyramid of Power, ect. ect...
Either way is there some command in Hyrule Magic that I'm missing or something cause I'd like to know what the heck I'm missing over here.

All those elements can only be changed in hex/asm. None of them are accessible in Hyrule Magic. A pain i know but sadly thats the issue with editing a link to the past.

oooohhh god.... I knew I'd run into having to use a hex editor....

*sigh*

Well is there a guide or something to using it in Zelda 3? I've never used something like that.

The only specific guide to working with zelda 3 is Zelda 3 Assembly which is basicly lessons taught to me by Euclid. Its a start to finish thing so it shouldnt be taken lightly. otherwise the information there wont make much sense to you at all.

Its possible to make a HEX or ASM editor with graphical interface right? Like this:

   Choose item:    Atribute:

Fuck up the ROM

( No rly i just had to do that XD)

Thats like how most ROM editors already look/work and they acctualy edit the hex with some buttons and stuff.. So basicly more ppl should be into Zelda 3 hacking?

Thing is not all of the special events in zelda have been documented. The castle gate is easy enough to remove completely but certain elements like the dark woods entrance is quite tricky to do...remove yes but move no. You have to take the location, special fire effect, replacement tiles (to show the entrance destroyed) and also the earthquake effect that takes place. I mean i can move the entrance but without all those extras it just looks shit.

Thanks for the guide Neon. Now I just hope this won't be as hard to understand as I thought.
...hurph and at first I thought I would just make a level edit to the hack and be done with it... Ah well if its worth the time to hack the game its worth the time to make it a damn good hack!
