I had a table as a layout, but couldn't place the closing tab in the Header, otherwise the table would be about 5 pixels wide and would have nothing in it. I placed the closing tab in the Signature box AFTER the content. The table looks fine on my computer, but others complained that it devours the page. Is there a better place to put the closing tab?

Well, some people here use tables already, and it works fine. My only guess is that you think your closing it, but you arent.

I've seen the result of not closing the table. I placed the closing tag in the signature box, and it didn't destroy the page. Maybe I should just manually type the tag...?

No, that wouldn't fix it. Writing something at the end of your post is the same as it being in your signature. Send me a PM with the table you had originally in the header and signature. I will try and see whats wrong with it.
