Which font looks better?
Download the attached zip file. Screenshots sf1abc.PNG and sf1abc2.PNG are the new font; sf1abc3.PNG and sf1abc4.PNG are the old one.
The new font, definitely; you've got some real talent there!

Well, I've been threatening it for some time...but here it is. My new handmade font for Sylvanian Families 1.

What can I say? With the impending release of Final Fantasy III, V and VI for a new generation, the font I've been using - thank you so much, Dragonsbrethren - is going to look rather conspicuous, seeing how it will be featured in all three games, one after another.

It's probably going to get shot full of bullet holes, but the accompanying screenshots show my new font in action, with that time-honored pangram "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs" (which I just learned from Wikipedia is a misquotation, but I'm too lazy to go back and fix it) present to demonstrate.

The first one shows the sentence just as typed above, followed by the numbers 0-9, while second is what I lovingly call the "Strong Mad" version: the sentence is written in all caps (followed by an appropriate exclamation point). The third and fourth are the same, using the FFIVA font Dragonsbrethren gave me (which has served me in good stead these past four months).

So. Should I make the switch permanent, or should I leave fontmaking to the experts at Square-Enix?

You know, SANE people would host it at tinypic or imageshack or photobucket and <img src> it in for all to see. And as far as pangrams go, "The five boxing wizards jump quickly" is my favorite, followed closely by "Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs." On topic, though, the new font does look a bit better. The difference between the two is slight, though.

Tinypic...holy crap. That's news to me.

*hits himself over the head with a brick*

There, that feels better. Okay, I'll edit my poll to make it work.

On a side note, in case you didn't catch, the fifth poll option is a reference to the Strong Bad Email "rampage", where Strong Mad is stymied at the prospect of reading not a book, not a pamphlet, not even a sign, but a waffle with the word "BUG" written on it in syrup. XD

EDIT: First post updated. That's the good news. The bad news is I apparently can't take down the zip file, or modify the poll itself. But thanks for everything else.
