... There is a code that enables you to do the triple jump every time you jump.

A levitate code is availible, enabling you to jump as high as you want.

GSC or an SSB forum is probably the only place that would have working Infinite Jumps codes for SSB. The game shuffles its memory around, so the address you find through conventional means is only valid maybe 10% of the time. It's amazing how many people don't seem to realize this, as if they don't test their codes.

i tryed out the Mario character model change code... With Peach--now this is a guess--i believe she's invisible, because she -might- be tagged as invisible until the ending of the game where she appeares (at the ending cutscene)...

If so, then she's got a texture... i guess one way to find out is see if Mario's visible as Peach at the ending of the game when her model fades in from the picture over the front door... i guess i could try it out... If it's true, it'd be cool to find the address to sutch a tag (her invisibility), and nullify it's variable, if it's even anything like that... But... Wonder if that'd make Peach stand there floating above the castle door during the game? i guess it depends on if the models location is even loaded (^,~)

Anyhow... Nice to see some good SM64 codes... Hard to find them on the net for this game... But it could just be me...

EDIT: Nope... it must be somnething else... Still invisible... i guess finding her textures might not help either though... Whouldn't changing them change her, but keep Maio as her invisible? i dunno though, short of trying code veriations over and over, or reverse engineer... something i whouldn't wanna do just for an answer... (^_*;; Vl-Tone's better at it anyway... i'm just me... (^-^) Sorry for the spam fellas! (^o^)

I love the play as char codes. Outside, that is. Goomba and Shyguy work very well. Yoshi is very fun, I'm suggesting to myself if we can edit it so the polygona places or the arms and stuff are like yoshi at the top, we could play as yoshi no problem. But we would need to implant the yoshi into every level X_X

whoa, hold on there! if you are going to try to do that, dont! what you want to do would take months-even a year or more of editing game data! you want to make the game so that you can play as a normal yoshi, not as a yoshi that is standing up right? that would not mean you would have to put the polygons different places, it would mean you would have to completely rewrite a large chunk of the mario 64 engine! if you want to play as a normally postured yoshi you would have to change marios posture completely, and perhaps make it so that his pre-programmed points of articulation do not move anymore! it also would mean you would have to completely recreate every single one of marios movements so that they perfectly correspond to each correct group of yoshis polygons. ex. if you crawl, you would have to edit the game data so that yoshis legs do not come out of his sides and his head does not pass through the ground, because, the game is designed in a way that is governed by a few simple rules and one is- if you crawl, all that happens is you change the head, arms, and legs actions AND YOU TURN THE TORSO FROM VERTICAL TO HORIZONTAL TO MATCH THE HEIGHT OF THE GROUND. so that would mean that since yoshis body is already in a horizontal position, yoshis neck would go through the ground and his tail and butt would be facing up!

Plus even if you get that far(which you wont) you have to recreate all of marios boundary lines! because marios so small, so are the boundary zones! for instance when you use the mario to yoshi code to swap models youll notice that yoshis tail and face penetrate anything, because they are merely textures without any rules set to them. if you puy a correctly postured yoshi in place of mario many features will pass though walls and things!

and if any of that ever happens, which it will NOT, you still have to edit all the loading tables to include yoshis textures, colors, polygons, specific movements and collision data into each and every level, sublevel, overworld, and room. oh and by the way you will have to figure out what and where yoshis game pointer is in the mess of data in mario 64 and you have to assign his textures, colors, polygons, specific movements and collision data onto all the correct places, and there are over 180 possible movements for mario, so good luck figuring out what and where each of them are in every level!

moral of the story: dont try

I think you're blowing this a bit out of proportion. Editing the animations would be difficult, but possible. These "boundary lines" you speak of are just an invisible box around Mario whose size should be easily changable (which would be fun ). I think it's quite possible, just a lot of work.

Sure it could! We could change Mario into Yoshi, why not change Yoshi into Mario? It would probably be buggy, like how "Yoshi" Mario's mouth acts like his hand, but it would be possible. Behaviors, though, would take a crapload of codes, or even be impossible, but then again I'm definitely not an expert at that type of thing.
