[12:55] (Dr_Death16); I swear, the word drama needs to be stricken from the dictionary, for I've heard it so many times, it will permanently be imprinted on my brain

No word of a lie.

Every morning, when I wake up, I have a strange, blood-colored stain on my shirt. There's nothing remotely nearby that's this color, and it's always around my midsection. It just seems like every morning when I wake up, I wake up with some kind of bloody stain on my shirt. The spots can be anywhere between the size of a fingertip and the size of a fist. I don't have any cuts or anything that could be construed as a cut on my torso, and they're always in front of my shirt, which I always check to see if any of the previously mentioned are present. So far, nothing.

So why do I keep waking up with blood on my shirt?

Have you been to a doctor?

I sounds almost as if you're bleeding internally at night. Also, have you tried faux sleeping, (i.e. lying down as if you're sleeping), and seeing if it happens to find out where it's coming from?

If he's bleeding internally, it wouldn't get on his shirt.

It sounds like someone is playing an absurd practical joke on you

You could be coughing up blood...
If I where you, I would get a video recorder, and record you sleeping at night, and see what happens. It helps if it has night vision.
Wait, do you sleep with the covers on, and still get your shirt bloody?

Once, I got a bloody nose and sneezed at night, and I was all bloody.

I once had a dream in which I was on the battlefield with a crushing wound to the upper chest. I was dying because I was choking on blood.

I woke up from said nightmare and I couldn't breathe at all... because I was choking on blood. When I finally managed to cough I got blood everywhere. Turns out I'd had a nosebleed for some reason.

In my half asleep state it seriously freaked me out.

But you'd probably know if it were a nosebleed. It is possible you're coughing something up but... are there stains on the sheets?

p.s. you sleep in a shirt? sleeping naked is the way to go

I'd say, sleep a night without a shirt on, and see what happens then.

Do you have a cat or another animal in your house? If so maybe it slept with you and bleed.

Anyways you should go to see a doctor...

Or it could be an appendage coming out? Although that seems highly unlikely as well. Maybe bugs are poking at you or something and you don't feel it. Mosquitos, ticks or kissing bugs (the kind that'll bite you in your sleep).

oh sure blame the cat.

Do you live alone? I would sleep in different areas/positions/without a shirt on to try to narrow down the cause.

I blame my cat for various things... why not?
I got scratched one morning because my cat was pawing on my chest and unfortunately, I wasn't wearing a shirt. I laughed, jerked around and then "Raaaar!!!" *scratch slash slash!* X_X

Proof that people should read the posts before they post.

I'd do the shirtless thing even if it stains the sheets. If nothing else the blood would stay on you and you'd figure out what the problem is; if it DOESN'T appear and only appears with the shirt on, then you can deduce the problem.

Would still be fscked up, though.

I think he's making sure this isn't a scene out of a horror movie or something.

I know of someone who had blood on his nipples after he was running; it turns out that the material used on the shirt didn't mix well with that area of the body. Different shirt, no more bleeding.

Looks like you wore a Superman shirt, and someone put you to the test: By shooting you in the chest. You are now dubbed as "Superbleeder".

On a serious note, just simply go see your doctor and pay your $10 co-pay.

Thank you Dane Cook.

I think the cause of the blood is simply the results of rituals that someone is doing while Grey is asleep.
