| Hey, I need people to reserve their spot for the sequal to Pokemon Brown: Pokemon Bronze, do some searches for bugs. If your interested, just reply to this topic. Of course I wont just let ANYBODY get their hands on the beta versions. Post your resume with hacking or whatever, and I'll see if I can get you in. I'm only going to have about 5-10 spots open, so reserve quickly
For the most part, Pokemon Bronze is about 70% done. I need to edit the text, put in the storyline, and do some HUGE polishing, and a few more dozen more areas. World number 2 is 94% done, World 1 (Naljo) is about 68% done. And most of the MINOR ASM alterings are done, but theres still a few a tad buggy. I'm really expecting a release for this in January 2007, but we'll see. So apply, and I'll get you a polish version of part of the game. It wont have the whole game, just probably 1/10th. Im doing this so you can mostly focus on that area to find mistakes and bugs. I dont know when you'll get it, but reserve now and you'll get it sooner or later. Keep in mind, this is a GOOD Pokemon hack, it isnt 1 of the million of shitty ones, its good. Been working on it since 2004 too. | I am usually good at finding bugs. I found 2 bugs in pokemon quartz ... altough it was in the final release and not beta testing.
I have an eye for seeing even small graphic glitches. I have hacked around with a few minor games/Messed with scriptED alot. Also for playing romhacks I have played a fair number of the shitty ones.  Including but not limited to Oak Vs Geo and Play as Rocket Hack #893698. Played a few good ones Including but not limited to Pokemon Brown and Pokemon Quartz.

| While I'm not interested in testing (I'd rather wait for the final release) I'd like to know if this hack is easier than Brown, at least in the beginning, I dread playing Brown (despite its awesomeness) because I dislike the high difficulty in the beginning. | |||

Its a little easier at the beginning, but it gets harder than brown at the end. I recieved complaints like that before :p I dont know HOW This got in ROM hacking, I posted this in Pokemon hacking, and it was moved here. (edited by Koolboyman on 06-30-06 01:29 PM) |

I can't wait for this release. Pokemon Brown was awesome. Is it possible for you to give us a little scoop of what's to come? Any new or modded Pokemon? What ASM edits are in store? |

| If you still need beta testers, I would be happy to give your hack a shot. I don't have a lot of credentials unfortunately -- I'm a 4th year music major at a large public US university (Iowa State if anyone's curious), so at the least I'm not a whiny 13 year old.
Oh, and I beat Drewseph's Metroid hack without asking _too_ many questions :p |

| This ROM isn't crap, I agree with you on that. But why are you calling it Bronze? Isn't "Rijon" the sequel that is being advertised over @ Pokecommunity? I've been playing Beta2 for the past few days very closely, and just noticed a few minor things, but it's awesome. Oh and the comment about what other people are saying about the difficulty, I found it quite the opposite. There aren't much trainers in the beginning to battle, so it makes it difficult to raise your pokemon, but once you get further into the plot, the game becomes more rewarding and challenging. Good job with that (I found it entertaining that you made yourself resemble one of those Psychic trainers at the end of the beta).
I also wanted to say: I'm not a hacker but i've been designing NICE Pokemon sprites for the longest time (none of that Fakemon crap). I thought it would be nice if you could have at least one fake Pokemon to one of your hacks as a reward. If you ever want to consider it, let me know (x0x_dev0n_x0x@yahoo.com). |

| My friends working on Rijon adventures while I work on Bronze and another untitled hack of anotehr game, but I still have the final say on everything he puts there.
