| Acmlm's board, in my opinion, is one of the most active boards I have ever seen. It is the base of many other message boards such as Romendo board, Serenity board etc. Post here and tell us your pros and cons about acmlm's board.

-Unique style and an individual type of board -Some intelligent people (those who don't make porn and foul language all they talk about) -The best place for ROM Hacking -A lot of options such as personalized layouts Significant Cons: -Holes (as Xkeeper pointed out numerous times) Minor Cons: -A little bit of idealistic narcissism floating around once in awhile (it really annoys me) -Several stupid questions (A really minor issue, I'm cooler about it now, though) Yeah, it's a nice place. Though I'm more familiar with NGBBS, it's worth sticking around here for awhile. |

It's a nice board. It has a strong community. Although, certain people here can make you feel very unwelcome. The staff can be strict at times but at least they're intelligent |

I'm on staff, so it's obviously the greatest board ever! 
Actually, if we're going strictly by the people on it, I'm biased toward the Minibosses Message Board, which seems to be down at the moment. When I was sick last year, a bunch of them chipped in and, basically completely unsolicited (I told them I was sick, and I may have told them about the fundraiser for me, but that was it), donated some money to my cause. I think I cried as a result of the gesture. All things considered, though, this board (Well, the Acmlm board system really) has a certain unique flavor, what with the experience system and all, that's hard not to like. Major cons? Well, the board is notorious for having as many holes as swiss cheese, though that seems to be getting addressed. And it's been a rocky history behind the scenes as well. All in all, though, I'm still here, so something's going right. |

| Yeah, it's a nice board. It has it's moments where I get frustrated with it (or rather the activity on it) and times when I enjoy it. I guess like any board really.

| yes this is one of the greatest boards out there I think the nest one to top Acmlm's is Gaia but im not to sure on that but I know that place is quite populated but so was Acmlm's beforeit was brought down and back up again. | |||

| I come from boards with around 8,000-1,000,000+ members. These are very active message boards and some of them have posting systems just like this one (with EXP and levelling up and stuff), some even have RPG battle systems and shops in them.
However, I feel this is the best board I've been at. Almost every board I've been to says "WE'RE THE BEST BOARD DEFINITELY". So, this probably isn't the best one out there, but it's the best one I've been to. Let me note that some of the boards I've been at are insane at posting. | I have always found the whole layout system thingie to be most interesting. Since I signed up(August 29, 2001), I haven't found another board to allow such freedom. I still can't really make my own, though. |

I wouldn't consider Gaia to be a good forum. Gaia is full of people who post a lot but have nothing interesting to say. If anybody says something interesting it's drowned out in a sea of "****HEARTMAGICFLUFFYBUMP****" and "OMG KIKI KITTY" I much prefer this place to Gaia. |

| In my oppinion Acmlm's board is the best out there.
Pros: Theres a forum for just about every topic Good/ nice people Very active and has a cool ranking system. I'm not part of to many boards so that might explain why I thinks Acmlm's is the best for those who think it isn't. | Well that CON that you did cross out happens on 99.9% on message boards its nothing really new and alot of people do it without even knowing, I went on a posting frenzy just awhile ago, it set off some tention with people but thats over now. But Acmlm's is one of the best boards out there not just because of the community but because he also designed this software himself and and has been downloaded and spread out over the internet by many users. That to me is a very big accomplishment!

Cons: Only two real cons, the Holes that caused the latest restart, and the frequent downtimes (although that's been fixed with the new server, AFAIK). |

| And to point out on that i'm sure with evetualy the release of "board2" these CONS will be no more as what I have seen from the "board2" itself.
But thats really the only majoy con of Acmlm's are the Exploted holes..Well it seems like Xkeeper took care of that. |
