Now that everything's on an archive, how do we proceed? Do we need to set up the old stickies again? Will the community be only half as active now?

No, I still think it'll be the same activeness as before.

BTW, why is this in ROM hacking? Shouldn't it be in general? Unless you show us some more sweet screenies from CT

I say we at least set up the stickies that were the most helpful and active. The Screenshots, FF Q/A, and SMB64 stickies come to mind. Let's just hope things don't get lame in here though.

Nah, or you would have heard about it. Crimson Echoes has, as Geiger put it, slowed to a "glacial progress" as organization failures and lack of motivation have possessed the project. JP of the Coliseum is about to release version 2.0 with Chrono Symphonic, with a CT rom hacking first in it (you can't miss it; it's a cameo from a legendary swordsman). Other than that, JP's also working on a little sideproject Magus hack, but only the hard event coding is up at the moment (the maps are placeholders in the interim).

No. Not yet. At such time that it is released, I will post about it here (provided the board is available at the time).

And please note that Zeality was talking about the Chrono Compendium project, and not my application, despite his invoking my name and words (which I only bring up because I had to read it a couple times for it to be clear).

The old stickies might not be a bad idea but let's be honest. With no search function, and most new people failing to read the stickies anyway will things really be all that different with all the old threads archived?

(That said the thing that will do the most harm in all likelyhood is the lack of threads, it makes the board seem inactive thus people won't be as inclined to just jump in. Get a decent number of threads, or at least the appearance of a good number of threads and likely it will go back to what it was.)

I could be wrong but I'm fairly certain Zeality was refering to the Rom Hacking community when.... he? (sorry if wrong) was wondering what to do now that all the threads are archieved and the community being active or not. I think this is relevant enough for discussion here.
