I've become interested in hacking ff roms. I got the ff4editor and ff3editor, but wonder if there may be better ones, or by any chance, does anyone know of a website that might teach rom hacking.

Try romhacks.net and romhacking.net. Romhacks has beginner tutorials. Romhacking has a decent database of utilities, hacks, and documents. There's also datacrystal.org.

good sites, but does anyone know of a site that actually has a program that will allow me to edit nearly everything in ff4? That's really what I want. I have ff4edit, but that's no good.

i take it you just started hacking. so did i.

if it ever gets hard or complicating, just keep asking questions.....even if they are stupid.(not implying anything)

youll eventually know more and more.

right everyone?

yeah, documents are the best way to get help. asking questions will probably end up with you asking the wrong guy and he'll be a jerk and be like "LOL READ DOX NOOB" or just be generally unuseful.
...really, rom hacking is kind of a do it yourself thing, to me.

I've had people do that sort of thing to me when I ask about getting sprites for flashes.

First, you should visit the SMW Hacking Forum

Second, explicit ROM requests are not aloud.

Third, don't bump an old thread, post something completely off topic and about something that's easily answered in another forum.
