I'm sure this has been thought up of several times and I as far as I know, there isn't one currently available or coming out soon. Try googling it if you haven't already.

SMB1: I've heard of a program that converts SMB (NES) levels into SMB (SMAS)
SMBTLL: Dunno.
SMB2: There's an editor that supports both NES and SMAS. (Discombulator 2?)
SMB3: There's an editor that supports both NES and SMAS. (Discombulator 3?)
SMW: Lunar Magic

I thought that was a program that converted SMB (NES) levels into SMW levels. In fact, YOU were working on such a program. Maybe I'm just getting confused, though...

At any rate, a full SMAS hack would probably be a lousy one. Else, it'd take an eternity to complete. Not to mention that making a full level revamp for each game would take quite a bit of time, even if you could just snap your fingers and end up with an excellent level editor for each game. And making an expansive hack would take even longer. Although one thing would be interesting - taking some of the best hacks from each category and putting them into one, 16-bit package.

Check whether other, obviously related forums have a sticky or thread for your issue before posting a new thread.
